This is going to be a long response, but let's just get into it;

Why do you feel a need to test members of staff or spartans, as if you should be the one who pushes them to the limits to see how far they would go to eradicate you, it's wrong. For all of this to be reversed, all you had to do was talk to us, which YOU, YOURSELF know you took the wrong path in what you did, yet you are trying to justify it as correct? you are battling your own balance betwen right or wrong and it's hard to find what the true motive was behind all of this. If you know it's wrong, why do it, you have so many other means to get to us and this is the one you chose.

Clearly, your intention was never to teamkill then was it? You didn't do it. but we're talking about intentions just like you said yourself. Calling pilots and players Hyenas and Peasents is absolutely degrading, and you know this yourself, even if you don't aim it at certain players, which you did, so clearly again you've littered this with lies to make it look better.

Let's be honest here, you didn't break any rules, but your intention was just to be a bit of dick (mind my language - I can't put this any nicer) and see how far you can push these admins and spartans before you do what they want you to do - kick them. At an early stage we identified you were Plant1ing through your GUID - and we did what model admins should do - give benefit of the doubt. Even myself, I thought you maybe had a bad day, and we would see if you were to actually break any rules, but instead you decided that you would want to ruin the gameplay of others - through your own free will instead of doing what's right. As an ex staff member you should know what the correct thing to do is - which is the complete opposite of what you did yesterdsay.

To say that admins and spartans had no part in communicating to you is again, complete lies, as seen below,

Moreover, the Spartans told the admins, and the admins informed CS about what happened, and look where we are now.

The spartans here took the correct course of action - they clearly responded and told you what is and isn't within their limits, and they did not exceed the boundaries at all, therefore to say "you recieved nothing" is complete and utter lies. Moreover, if you are trashtalking everyone and everything for no reason - They will ignore you. Players and Admins have to see players trashtalk like this, day in and day out, and it has now become nothing more than you just ignore this. it is not breaking rules to act like a complete egotistical ape, you are just labelled as a dick and you will be ignored by admins/spartans/players, pretty much everyone.

Plant1ing, who made you the judge now in the ways we deal with players, it has been an awfully long time since you have been staff, the ways that you deal with players compared to the ways that we deal with people have completely changed in that span of time. What we see as acceptable may not be the same for you, we might be doing our job perfectly followng our guidelines, how do you know what we are and aren't instructed to do? you don't have our admin guidelines, how can you possibly be the judge of this?

The fact that you had the audacity to verbally harass two admins, myself and Lindi, and then to come here and say that what did was entirely an accident doesn't really seem to make yourself very truthful, let alone even warranting a second chance. The Rules are clear cut, and you violated the following;

@Ryko didn't clarify, but I think as midnight said above it would be suitable that they can co-operate to buy one, and as it's high in reward points, i'd imagine it would only be bought when desperately needed.

So in essence, when the server is busy no CAS jets unless bought through reward points, and when the server has a low player count the CAS jet will spawn as per usual.

I was wondering if this idea would appeal to the community;

the CAS jet only spawns below a certain player count (for example 30 players) and any number of players above that the CAS jet doesn't spawn.

I've found that this may be a suitable idea as in my opinion a CAS jet isn't needed at all on a near full server, but when the server only has a flew players on sometimes a CAS jet can be useful as there may not be that many AT players around etc.

Opinions?

in contrary to what @Minipily says, great teamwork can still be found on EU1.

Our playerbase are a bunch of friendly chaps, most the time you just need to ask if anyone wants to squad up, and most the time you will find people willing to squad up for some serious gameplay, and when you do, it can be some of the most fun you can have playing I&A.

I have investigated the reports given here against Mario, and have found them to be inconclusive. I have messaged the reporter and have recieved no response, therefore this is deemed invalid due to lack of any evidence and a lack of supporting claims.

If you really wanted to keep AWE alive, you should be reforming old bonds with former players of the community instead of telling them that you don't miss them. It's that same pessimistic value that drove most of the players away in the first place. And when they come back and turn to this thread to see you treating them in this manner, i'm not surprised that they wouldn't want to return back to AWE.

Set an example. Don't be the example of what people don't want in the community.

P.S you'd be sad to hear that most the public mod and admins have moved on quite a while back, and while some have stayed liked myself, our public admin team and our playerbase is a fresh new face compared to some of the faces you may have seen a good two years ago!

These questions go on, and on, and on. But you see, this is the point I want to get at. It's all well and dandy players coming up with these ideas to alleviate bad pilots, but the logistics behind ideas like this from the standpoint from an admin is critical. This question has been asked so many times and yet it has failed everytime because the idea and the logistics behind it are two completely different things and we have never found the right balance to make it work.

So from what i've gathered we have no real solution for this (yet.) Now we used to have it so pilots had to be on teamspeak but in my opinion that system didn't work and it has been stated many times that it isn't coming back.

Lindi summed it up pretty perfectly,

As admins we try our best to maintain the quality of our pilots when we are online, but again, we can't always be around to monitor pilots and we don't have a coherent system to prevent bad pilots. My personal advice would be if you see a bad pilot do !admin, and hopefully one of us will be around and we can deal with it promptly. This is the most simplest and effective method we've formulated until we can figure out a non-intrusive system.

To be fair, I'd like to see the ideas to prevent this that you players can think off because from what I've heard the current system isn't working.

So my proposal, if we can collectively think of a plan that can eliminate this, the staff will discuss of implementing it.
