Twas a fun one for those who got on considering the connection issues, hopefully it wont happen again. Was my first event and with ares playing up I had to do it all manually. Anyway I will probably do more of these with a better connection this time.

Why do you think you were banned? I was Banned for apperently trying to Recruit using the Server
Why (in your personal opinion) should your ban be lifted? As the Admins and Creators of Ahoy World, i will not Argue with the final outcome but will put my Case.
I was given two Warnings on apparently Advertising, the first time i was Kicked, through my eyes appeared because i told a player who was in our Squad to "leave your Squad and ill invite you to ours" after he had Disconnected and reconnected to the server, this was referring to the Ingame Squad system using (U). For this i got an Advertisement Warning and a Kick or so i believed this was the reason.
When i reconnected i wrote a message explaining what i had did and carried on. Once i had gotten my Squad Back together again, i then posted my own Personal Teamspeak 3 Channel, and told them to join it so we could communicate better, #1 that is not a recruitment that is simply better dynamic teamplay, #2 i had posted it previously on the kick (in the group chat) but since the kick was so quick it was a not apparent that the TS Address was the reason why. I believe this could / should have been mentioned in the Kick message.
Upon doing this shortly after i then received a personal message, "You were Warned Brown", and then received a Ban Notice, Two of my Squad members attempted to argue that i was unaware posting the Teamspeak Details was the major offensive on both occasions but this was met with a very blunt "He had enough chances" Again i believe to handled very poorly.
Also if i am not mistake though correct me if i'm wrong, There is usually a 3 time strike and your not, not a 1 Strike.
Personally i feel that the ban was carried out very Quickly like having your finger ready on the ban hammer, Up until this point i have tried to run a Dynamic Squad to give yourselves and others a more immersive experience which over the past few days has been successful. I feel that the reason was not explained properly, Nor was explained directly to me, had i of known i would have stopped immediately.
as i said in the Beginning i respect your decision in the result, and either way thank you for the experience on the AW Servers.

Hello!
We are pleased to introduce a new team within AhoyWorld - “Outreach”. This team will be responsible for media distribution and communications within and outside AhoyWorld.
What are our aims?
The team has two main objectives within AhoyWorld. The first is to ensure that the staff have clear lines of effective communication with the AhoyWorld community. This is to ensure that any announcements are transparent and made to a professional standard.
The second aim is to increase the social media presence of AhoyWorld on all social media platforms. We believe this will improve player interaction through social media and will promote the community and the AhoyWorld servers, with important announcements also appearing on our social media.
This also means production of new media to promote AhoyWorld servers, and encourage greater player attraction to our community.
Our team
We are a five man team that consists of both players and staff members. This is to ensure that we can get feedback on updates from all levels of the community before changes are made and the announcements are published. We have decided on a team that will attempt to represent both our public servers and the Enhanced server equally.

So, after a good while of not being alive I returned to the land of the living.
After a bit of thinking and exploring free steam games, I stumbled on Planetside 2 (Hold on to your drinks for a moment) and it had a system in place I am pretty sure that I found a system that prevented your vehicles to be stolen. Now, I am no programmer and I have no clue if this is even possible to implement, but here we go:
When you enter an unclaimed vehicle, you "claim" it. Preventing others from entering. When a certain menu is openend, you get 3 options: Closed, group only and open. Closed prevents anyone except you to enter Group only allows group members (duh) Open allows..... Do I need to say it? [YES].... it allows anyone to enter. after a certain amount of time (Different per vehicle?) the vehicle gets unclaimed
Feedback please!
(just remember, my brain is still a bit fuzzy so I might not be the brightest around)

Can you add in game lobby pilot slots for a gunship heli,Buzzard and Blackfish?Last night only two pilots are transported a troops to AO and side mission other two was in gunship heli.Only a few players was in the AO and others was in the main base and FOB-s.

Twas fun as Sledge 1 transporting alpha, I got shot at a lot and got triggered :(, Anyway it was fun and I enjoyed driving the Bradley, I don't do game nights often but I say this is good, So I will probably join more often.

All I've heard is that it is time consuming, stupidly difficult due to ninja AI diver vision, and somewhat buggy.
Also it spawns miles out at sea and makes it undesirable to bother with.
I'd say remove it (unless once the Jets DLC lands we can have the carrier as a persistent FOB with boats and the mission always spawns within say 200m of the carrier.)

So we've been saying this over the past 2 weeks now and we *finally* have something down to announce with a good week's notice!
Starting on the 12th of April, we're going to bring back dedicated Zeus ops to recreate the good ol' days when Luetin09 was here. Ops will begin around 8:30 pm GMT on Wednesdays and will go for a few hours, with 2-3 ops in mind for the evening. The map will be either on Tanoa or Altis (and we might even bring back Stratis for a day), so make sure you prep yourselves! We haven't decided which server will be used yet, but expect anywhere from 40-60 slots to be available to the public, first come first serve.
Any Spartan is allowed to be on the zeus interface and we're going to encourage multiple zeuses acting at once to deliver a good experience, so expect these ops to be pretty large scale! We will do our best to keep them simple, however, in order to accommodate for various player skill levels!
This brings us to our next point: above is a poll that i'd like people to answer regarding what type of ops they'd like to see on these nights. I'd also appreciate any feedback below!
And before you ask: Yes Scar, some ops will let you have tanks to use

So yesterday I wen't onto I&A 2 files and saw a lot of stuff from that update that we don't have now, Quite a lot. Now I am not talking about bring back altis airbase but I mean some smaller functions that will be really nice to see come back. So lets start!
Bring back the old billboards
So in old I&A 2 we had some billboards that were very good at explaining what to do in situations and also to advertise more of the community. I mean who doesn't like big teddy bears with a shovel e.e
So there are some of your billboards that I took pictures of, Some are outdated but it won't kill us to change em a tad.
Next up
Helo Doors
Now i'm sure everyone has to remember the old helo doors, When a ghost hawk reached the correct speed and altitude the doors on the side would open and close as such.
Now I can guarantee if we bring this back pilots will brag about rpg's flying through the passenger area while attempting evac.
Flags
Nothing big, But let the community express our countries, In I&A 2 we had some flag poles, Add em back, Lets see who comes from where.
Medevac
Now to be fair I actually cannot remember this but in the map I saw it there, I suppose if it did work, but if not do tell me, we should add it back, Im sure it would make pilots have a reason to get risky and fly into AO's e.e
Request Supply crates
So instead of just having these supply crates laying about maybe we can be allowed to request them again, I remember how this system works just not too sure if it would work with this one.
AO Spawn location
Okay so the big one and probably most questionable one, We will see, Anyway I would love it if instead of having the AO spawn next to the old one we bring back random AO spawning locations, or at least give the AO's a bit of space in-between them. It completely removes the point of EVAC and I always see people trying to get a lift to the next AO even though its 500m away, Maybe people want this back?
UGV
The UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) was available for use in I&A 2 maybe bring it back as a Base, FOB or Reward Asset, I have never seen it been used once before since I&A 3.
Minefield around Radio Tower
Back when radio towers spawned a minefield around them would also spawn, This is no longer a thing and since I have never seen the EOD Specialist actually do the role of mine clearing since most of the time there are no mines.
Conclusion
Anyway I hope this gives people some ideas of stuff to get back, I'm sure a few of you remember more than me and might suggest some other things, We will just see how this topic works. Also hope you enjoyed the photos e.e.

So for a while now I have noticed that AO's can go quite quick when people work together, This can be at around 15 minutes, With the general time of 20 - 30 minutes. I thought about a way that these AO's could be slightly more time consuming and I got myself an Idea.
I think a way to make them longer if necessary would be to have the simple Kill everyone and do the sub objective and then give everyone around 1.5 - 2 minutes break before an enemy counter attack happens from a KNOWN direction. This should allow people to prepare for the counter attack and defend positions, the counter attack would hopefully break out about another 10 - 15 minutes of combat depending on the troops efficiency.
If the counter attack ends up taking up most of the AO nothing will really happen, They will just be reinserted and simply continue on as if they are doing the AO over again. I would not expect the counter attack to have many troops, Simply just a few trucks, cars and APC's, Possibly some transport helicopters too.
Anyway I hope this idea has given you some though, I would love some of you input on this at anytime.

I really like the way you picture the ability of a medic, I never saw it like that. It is a shame that your school bans you bringing your computer but you still get summer and other holidays.
