I know some pinged me on ts for a reconnect\JIP but I didnt see the pings before we where finshed witht the session and take note that I fucked up and somehow turned off respawn when compiling the mission before it went live as I had been experimenting with some respawn options.
This will be fixed for the next session so that you can actually respawn and not be stuck in spectator. This error was my fault and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
I will also be adding two more teams so that in case there are more players than it where this session we can cater to them too.

General Info
This mission is a multi session operation or MSO for short.
If you played MSO in A2 you will know what the general idea is, if not: MSO is a mission that is designed to take multiple sessions to complete.
How multiple session is handled is that after each event I hold, the server\mission state gets saved to a database.

@MurkyOwl, as I veteran I must advise against rushing into ranked. You will get paired up and against previous season platinums, diamonds and golds who want their rank back. You will either get carried into a rank which you cannot maintain yourself or you will be dropped near bronze where you might pickup alot of bad habits.
My advice is just to play casual until you hit 70-75, at which point you should be able to get through ranked without any real problems.

What message displays when you attempt to connect? You are banned permanently. Reason: "Abusive to staff."
Why do you think you were banned? eu#3 server: 3 seconds after "leaving" the arsenal in an all white outfit i was subjected to a plethora of rude words in a rude tone by the player "shadow knight" although i had no intention of leaving the base in that outfit (i never broke any AWE rule and I never played in any outfit not having lvl5 body armor and helmet before losing all aprox 20 outfit saves in the arsenal). Inspite of his rude tone and words i responded calmly without using ANY bad words, reminding him that a helmet is not mandatory, that i am not breaking any rules and that white can be an effective camouflage near building walls, and some rocks on that map. he stepped up the rude tone and words and started making rude threats of ban and his leadership position. I said calmly that leaders are shown at the AO while fighting the enemies and that respect must be won there not by this kind of actions at the arsenal in base. His rudeness continued and later i got a ban message while playing the game , following the rules and being at the AO in a non white lvl5 body armor, playing the autorifleman role i was in, the way i have always played in the AWE servers. That is 100% what happened. Please ask him to present the full unedited recording which will prove NO (zero) bad words from my side and plenty from him and also NO "abusive to staff" anything.
Why (in your personal opinion) should your ban be lifted? The "abusive to staff" reasoned ban is a blatant lie as the unedited full recording will prove. There can be no evidence to support any abuse to staff from my side as there was no abuse from my side. The recording will prove a lot of verbal abuse both in words and in tone and inappropriate behavior from his part though ...

PvP. Both BLUFOR and CSAT are fighting over new territory, join their ranks, take the sectors and drive the other back into the sea.
This is Cryo's first gamenight for AWE, so please play nice, and send constructive criticism back in this thread.
More than likely this will be followed up by Zeus missions on guantlet, with the possibility of them also happening before.
This is part of our final weekend playthrough on the current modset before the changes previously announced take effect.

Hey folks,
Today's TvT will be something slightly different - BLUFOR and OPFOR playing against each other on a subset of the standard Gauntlet missions. AI is still there - the CHDSK rebels - and they fire on both BLUFOR and OPFOR. We playtested it this afternoon and it was epic. The more folks the better!

Upon us we find a great opportunity, and it brings great delight for me to inform you of decisions regarding the forward progress of the server and community. It has taken a great deal of time and discussion to reach this decision, but we now feel that it has been sufficiently planned - and, well…discussed. Following a unanimous vote amongst the AWE staff team, we are progressing with enacting these changes.
In addition to the changes detailed in this post, more will soon be announced that will contribute to the direction we seek for AWE, moving forward. As such, keep your eyes turned towards the AWE section of the forum. We are excited to deliver the new direction - and we hope you are too!

Put a reminder in your calendar, this is when the changes will take effect (ensuring there are no snags or hiccups during the process).
The Steering Committee has reached the decision that the CUP, and all its dependencies will be removed from the modpack, and therefore the modset. The total list of removed mods, and their size, is:
CUP Terrains Core 7.8 GB CUP Terrains Maps 2.1GB Project OPFOR 1.5 GB Abramia 0.213 GB Isla Duala 0.328 GB Lingor and Dingor 0.633 GB Fallujah 0.201 GB
The following mods will also be removed due to lack of development by authors, or bugs. This is pursuant to separate decisions by the Steering Committee, and are being enacted during this update.
Burnes_AAV 0.057 GB Spec4gear 0.391 GB
This yields a reduction in repository size of 11.723 GB.
As a result, several new maps will be added; these are:
JBAD Buildings 1.3 GB Lythium 1.0 GB Bornholm 1.5 GB Bozcaada 0.137 GB
This totals 3.937 GB in additions.
Overall this gives us a 7.793 reduction in modpack and repository size. Reducing the size of the modpack is not our driving force in these changes, but rather a desire to offer a new, innovative and refreshing experience to the AhoyWorld Enhanced player-base.
These will be the core modded maps for AWE moving forward. Other maps will be added; however, they have not been decided upon, yet. Anything that has JBAD as a dependency will be considered, alongside stand-alone maps. Fayshhkabur, ToraBora are good examples of maps we are looking to consider.
The new playable maps will be:
Altis Stratis Tanoa (Will not be in gauntlet rotation) Gorgona Lythium Bornholm Bozcaada Kerama Islands (possibly)
Other mods are also under consideration stemming from the request area of the forum. These have not yet been finalised and so have therefore not been included.
