First of all: NO ONE is required to read any of this. You can perfectly fine join the missions without ever opening this whole sub-forum!🙂👍
Now that this is out of the way: Though, if you are interested in the lore of the campaign or if you are planning on SLing in the missions and want to give yourself an edge by knowing things like:
Lore information📖 Information about the enemy (equipment, capabilities, how will he react to what, etc.)🔫 Standard procedures (e.g. ROE, Actions on Halts, Lost Marine Plan, etc.)📑 The Comms Plan, etc.📻 Maps of the country🗺️ etc.🧐👾🤠👻🐢 (you can also open this on your PC at work and it will look like you're reading something very important while you can actually just have a break😴👨💻) (It also looks nice🤩) Then the documents in here will be worth to read for you, as they contain all of the above and more!🔖
(I switched to uploading PDFs now because 1.) the pre-typing and formatting it in Word and then copy&pasting it into the forums was more than clunky already and 2.) I switched everything from Word to Latex anyways because Word is just...Word... Meaning I cannot really copy&paste anymore as that is not working in a good looking way from PDFs which are directly generated by Latex.)
Now to start things off, I give you the Base Order:
Base_Order_Unrelenting_Resolve.pdf
The Base Order features everything in detail and will, as the name suggests, be the Base to reference for the Orders of the individual missions.
Because whenever a new mission is annouced I will be posting a complemantary Fragmentary Order that will be based on, guess what, this Base Order.🙌 These Frag-Os will display all the changes from the Base Order (and therefore will be a lot shorter as the standard procedures, etc. rarely change) and already contain a full plan for the mission. So it is certainly worth a read if you want to know what we'll be up against and which squad will do what, etc.😉 Also, you will be perfectly capable of understanding the plan, etc. for a respective mission by only reading the Frag-O and never having read the Base Order...you'll just not know the unchanged standard procedures, etc. but for that you can perfectly fine just rely on your superior telling you what do to🤷♂️
And as the first mission is starting soon (16.01.2021) already, here you also have the Frag-O (already featuring a plan, etc. as promised😌) for it:
FRAG-O_16012021.pdf
Also here you can always find the current modset for the current MSO:
See you out in the field!💪

So we‘re attacking Taris, to search for a VIP, huh?
Guess we‘re with Malak then but I sure hope we’ll find the VIP fast enough... Heard rumors Malak will just bombard Taris into oblivion if our search takes too long. And that he doesn’t care about friendly fire. One would really need something fast like the Ebon Hawk to get out of there in that case.🤔 Long Live the Sith!

Also do note that we have switched the MSO to TFAR as well to make it in this regard consistent with AWE (when this has switched as well). So no more changing plug-ins and reconfigurating controls, etc!🙂
Edit because of reactions to this post: Not sure why one would be "sad" about this. We used TFAR on the MSO until 2019 and it worked exactly as fine as ACRE did the last two years and even better sometimes (remember radio ranges being broken in MSO OP Talon in 2019 for example). And if you're still sad then see it as if we're now continuing the story of the USMC Al Rayak invasion from 2017 (MSO OP Hrafnagud) in which we used TFAR back then and therefore we have another consistency reason to use it again.😉

For the last 3 years there has been an unofficial cease fire during religious holidays. That is until today. While the majority of our forces are on leave for this holiday or are using the time for maintenance the enemy have attacked. In an overnight assault they have attacked and seized the capital of Bolabongo and many of its residents. Caught off guard they were also able to capture several senior government officials who are believed to be being held as bargaining chips. Having moved North during the holiday cease fire, the CHADS seem to be the force best placed to respond.

Sorry for being bit grumpy about EMT team being forgotten. I understand, it is very hard to create - especially story - mission, that would involve everyone present.
Police people aparently had amazing time, but such is Arma. Sometimes you draw a short one.
I would suggest two possible fixes, if the mission ever gets repeated:
1) make EMT part of police squads as attached medical personel, not a separate team.
or
2) have EMT team start at the festival location (on festivals, you would have an ambulance to deal with injuries etc), so they are part of the story build-up from the start.

Noah_Hero reacted to PiranhA in Steam Group
So,
Its been quite a time since ive left. And still, after all the time, nobody contacted me about the steamgroup of over 1300 members.
Finally i made the step to Lindi to ask him about the who and what to do, since his advise is to hand it over to Ryko, but dear Ryko is not in the group,...so its not possible to make him the owner.
Since i feel no responsibility for the steamgroup of this community anymore im at the point of promoting someone random or get rid of it in any other way.
It is the account i have retrieved from Baconmop at the time. This costed me alot of time and something else, so it is a pitty to dump this group, on the other hand, if no one values this group anymore i dont see it having a future. But its up to you, so tell me (not on this platform) what to do, asap please. Im in TS this evening for about a hour.
Best regard,
PiranhA
PS: my email is still the same.

Noah_Hero reacted to GhostDragon in Steam Group
The leave group button has been there for the entire time and you could have left any time you wished. Also there are many lines of communication available to everyone in the community, via the forums, Discord and teamspeak, that could have been used by yourself to get any issues resolved within good time. However it was not brought to my attention that it was something causing an issue to you or anyone in the community my other commitments to the community have been taking a precedent.
As you can see as soon as the issue was raised action was taken to ensure that all parties are happy with the outcome.
You claimed that you were the owner of the group here:
I simply made a comment stating that the group in question was not in fact under your control and the community did not need to contact you in regards to gaining the ownership because we already had it.
Also Ryko is in the group and was already an administrator.
What is impressive to me is the approach to getting the issue resolved by yourself. i think that would class as impressive for all the wrong reasons.
Thank you for your concern, Ghost

Noah_Hero reacted to Lindi in CPL | A. Shepherd
Hello @ShepherdLaw
You were banned for 3 days on the 26th of November.
Ignorance of the rules isn't really a defence here. They are available at the forums and they are also available in game. You are even shown a popup when joining the server informing you about this. Also stated above things are dealt with on a case by case basis by the administrator(s) present at the time. That also means the administrator in question chooses weather to address you via chat or TS. In adition to this your TS nick and in game nick were not the same so connecting the two nicknames isn't a given.
I see you joined the server and jumped head first in the deep end. Had you spent some time getting to know the rules and people on TS maybe asking some questions you would have been informed how Close Air Patrol vehicles are not suited for Close Air Support. You might have learned that they also tend to end up wasted assets while trying to attack heavily armoured targets with weapons very ill suited for the task. Key word here is wasting high value assets.
We do usually work on a warn > kick > ban principle, but since the same rule had been infringed upon and the issue was dealt with shortly before your infringement, it should be clear for everyone present at the time what the rules and consequence are. I would have been quite sympathetic with your case had you apologized for breaking the rules, but instead I read the appeal as how we should interpret out own rules and how our admins should do their job. I am very hard pressed to find any remorse in the appeal.
...and finally I cannot look past leaving Team Speak just to re-join shortly after as C..T and poking the banning admin with a drive by insult. This is pure disrespect toward a member of staff, complete disregard toward the rules of conduct and sprit of our community and a rotten thing to do.
For this your ban appeal is not only unsuccessful but I will be prolonging your ban to 90 days.
