Holy crap that setup! Makes my single 30-odd inch TV screen look like a joke compared to that lot!
I do remember you from the other day though on EU3 when you and me were medics, you did a great job on the bandage front but just remember, if someone is low on blood - give them Plasma (or blood if you are at a hospital), if they have a high blood pressure - give them saline (very rare situation).

Before we start, this is not a rant, nor is it me being whiny, this is simply an open discussion where people can leave their thoughts.
ACRE or TFAR? That is the question for this discussion.
Recently, we moved to ACRE due to it's radio design, it allowed for better radio sounds and functions which subsequently led to better discipline, though this was good it had to have a negative effect to follow; this effect was that numerous people had issues where their ACRE would not load properly or they had a weird fuzzy effect when they tried to talk or listen.
On the other hand, TFAR had a much simpler design which led to more efficient communication between teams and also more realistic radio usage. Negative effects were that it was incredibly easy to use multiple different systems rather than one system which ACRE uses.
These systems are the radio frequency systems, two examples for SR radios.
Single Frequency System - A system that is possible to use in TFAR and is the only system available in ACRE. This system is, for example: Alpha 1 and 2 both being on the same frequency, usually a fireteam will be close enough to shout to each other so this is a valid system to use, the cons are that radio chatter can be clustered in times of extreme noise or long distance where shouting isn't available.
Multi Frequency System - A system that is only possible with TFAR. This system is, for example: Alpha 1 being on a seperate frequency to Alpha 2 while the teamleaders have an additional channel to talk between themselves as well as the SL and Medic. This system works well when fireteams need to split up or for when fireteams need to be used for specific usage, for example; Alpha 1 being the offensive team with a grenadier and assistant auto while Alpha 2 is the defensive with the Marksman.
Both mods allow for their own pro's although cons also follow.

Expect the wrong spelling of "Damn it" this ban reason is hilarious.
What are you expecting? Perhaps you took exception to the ban? Except and expect might have the same letters but mean very different things, let's try and get them in the correct order.
"Dammit" is obviously a contraction, given your lack of ability to express yourself in the English language you would do well to refrain from criticising others.
Teammates where shooting in base, so i shot them down and get banned,
*where or were? Also you're mixing your tenses please just pick one and stick with it.
The next point is, that a permanently ban is a too hard punishment for trying to help.

Did you make any effort to contact the admin team before deciding that you would try to discipline players yourself?
I hope you can help me.

You should see about joining EU3 sometime.
I command armored vehicles fairly frequently there and am also happy to see others interested in vehicle warfare, particularly those that are experienced in the tactics.

Might be better to wait until after Tanoa comes out before we go adding any Ospreys. BIS will be adding some sort of tilt rotor craft in that pack, so they'll be revamping how vehicles can transition from the heli flight model to fixed wing flight model I imagine. No more dropping like a brick whilst landing autopilot is on cos the ai of it decided fix wing would be the best mode for a vertical landing

If this was to be a long term campaign/themed mission then would setting up squads beforehand be possible? Get the people that will definitely be there to agree on what role they'll play then bunch them together in squads/teams each gamenight?
I'm thinking something along the lines of what that group Johnson used to be with did, you would play with a set group of people unless you switched to a new unit due to specialisation of a role or some other extenuating circumstances, which sounded pretty cool.
Would help with the professionalism of that team too, as if they've played with each other long enough they'll know how the others play and react to situations

So the holidays are aproaching and I thought I would give you guys a update on the status and direction of Valiant and other things.
Valiant\Gauntlet
First and foremost Gauntlet is now legacy "software" and will not be maintained by me at all, so kudos to the guys who hot-fixed it post 1.54.
Moving on: Valiant has been put on hold until the holidays are over and the new year rings in because work has been pretty hectic and I havent had the energy to put in hours on development. So the 300+hours i spent on it in october still is as how far as I got.
This means the mission currently is pre-alpha tested for stability in the main and side FSMs for mission selecting and it has 5 main missions and 3 side missions. This wil be expanded upon when I deem the selector FSMs rock stable(which pre-alpha tests showed it was).
Expanding upon the initial 300+hours of deving a new "backend" plus learning FSM will be some form of AAR\Stattracking in the form of ALiVE mods stuff we tested on the Insurgency mission we played, I will not however add any object\player persistency as saving the current mission state(in-game mission) is not viable and I dont want to add any mod dependencies as I made valiant as effortlessly possible to just port over. By effortlessly I mean copy over the code onto a base-template and alter the DAC unit configs to whatever you have as your poison.
Moving on yet again, I have a question for you the users:
Gamenight(s)
Upon player Valiant_Insurgency I felt that the general consensus was that this was great fun and I felt I could make some improvements\other styles of the same deal(Persistent,multi sessions to complete) and I was thinking that I would make a fictional Nation and Scenario where the small nation of Ahoy had to push a invader out of their territories(All viable maps in the repo).
This generally would mean in rough outlines that each mission would take 2-3 game-nights to complete depending on how far\long we take to push and repell the occupying forces. We would need to use logistics properly as in I will give the platoon a set amount of ammo in the form of either crates\ammo-trucks\rhinos that need to be moved as we gain ground and general CSS(combat service support) would be maintained in a more expanded approach than we use atm i.e repairs,refueling etc.
Re-spawn will be handled like in Val-Ins with a spawn timer of 10 minutes (or more).
Fixed loadout would be in effect as we are a nations army and not pmc-esque style of Valiant\Gauntlet.

M27 IAR - I have just creamed myself.
Beretta - Let's see how it fairs against its RH Pistol opponent.
M119 howitzer - Really excited about that although I doubt it will be used much on EU3, a designated static weapon crew would be a good addition, possibly for Valiant?
Static TOW - Would be cool like the howitzer too, a fortified position with a few AT guns and a couple TOW's would be interesting to see.
SPC Camelbak model - Yay more SPC vests, love the look of these.

Added 'vest' with pistol holster only - Nice, was hoping for something just like that for a PLT CMD role, silly comrade, you only need Makarov.
