For those of you who may not be aware, The forum backgrounds have been updated. I aimed to create a new series of modern photos and screenshots that suited the forum much better with use of different colours and such. All these photos I have created myself in my spare time. Hope you all enjoy them!

Good to know this, dont want to get the message "You killed everyone!!" when you fire this stuff with alpha infront of you.

The uniforms seem distinctive enought to avoid FF if we are opposing NATO/USA, though facing Russian forces might get some confusion at longer ranges due to the uniforms dominant green tint and helmets. That said, i do think it might add some interesting gameplay for bothe opfor and other mission setups.
 
I would say why not try its out with a mission and see what the reaction is ingame by the players, maybe create it for a gamenight like a friday stilleto night. That way you can gauge the servers opinion on the faction and how much they like/dislike the faction as both playable and opponent.

thx for the insight. you definitily touch a few known points. However on EU1 the gameplay tends to be more casual and faster paced. EU3 (modded server) is slightly more slow paced and tactics relative as to how pilots fly and act. You might want to try EU3 out if you like playing that way, im sure you would have a blast, but i would also hope to see future pilots in EU1/2 adapt some of you pointers to there gameplay as it does promote a smoother more logistical game.

After the terrorism attack on france a few months ago we had a flag of france on the left top of the forum. I hope we will see the belgian flag on the forums soon.
 
Its not my intention to make this post a discussion about the reason and/or the people who comitted the attack on belgium.

I try to keep engagements between 250-600 anything closer is less than comfortable, if anything is really close, for example you're both near the top of a ridge or mountain I just tell my fire team to lob grenades over the top. There's no need to get up close when you have perfectly fine M67 grenades at your disposal. Same goes for compound clearing and room clearing.
 
Anything past 600 meters can usually be ignored, I really only engage them if they are shooting at me.
 
About calibers and rifles. Follow the guidelines, and try to use as much stanag mags as possible so they can be shared when needed.
Remember, EU3 is for serious gameplay, if you're going to dick about in base or anywhere you're most likely going to end up getting banned. So don't tell veterans of EU3 to "loosen up a bit" because they do live by the rules and you're the one obviously breaking them if they need to tell you off.

Obviously, in terms of firepower and range, the 7.62 is immensely superior to the 5.56. So I'm going out on a limb here and wager most of the arguments against it come from us milsim evangelists. 7.62 is more expensive, heavier, bulkier, louder than 5.56, which arguably also makes it more fun for the shooter. But only while shooting.
Considering the trend of hauling 15+ magazines into a standard operation, I wouldn't want the extra weight on my belt. The less I can run, the slower my whole team will be, as I'm the weakest link in the chain. Adding to this that I might also use a magnifying scope on my 7.62 rifle, the sway from my heavy breathing won't make matters any easier.
 
In my mind, it's not the diameter overkill speaking against large calibres, it's that a lot of players don't know moderation. Especially with the way stamina has been implemented lately, marching lightly is more important than ever. So when it comes to weighing the odds, I'd take flexibility over increased optimal range any day.

People need to remember that bullet velocity decreases over range.  I don't have exact figures, but a 5.56mm round is much less lethal at 700m than it is at 300m.  So, more rounds are needed to take down a target, unless you get really lucky, or have the right gear to put the round exactly where you want it.

First of all on both names, They can both be considered verry offensive indeed, with the ingame one refering to the N word without to much imagination needed. Your forum name is even worse in my opinion. Had you visited my server way back in the days (was admin of a JediKnight server once) that kind of name was enought for a simple and  imediate ban for life, no explanation, no way to apeal at all. It just shows a immature and childish attitude that we can do without on anny kind of server, wether it is this one or another game all together.
 
Second is your attitude in this post and the allegations towards some staff. While i would agree to go about some ban appeals diffrently i do feel that each admin, regardless of how they handle it, are handeling it in a just and correct way. Some can be harsh at times, but i know that i don't have all the facts even if i was present at the time of it happening, due to admins simply having the tools to see more then we players see about what truely happened. We dont see the warnins (atleast not all of them) nor all the logs. So when an admin says A and you say B, i tend to believe what the admin says.
 
Add to that all your attitude displayed on this forum, and i see no reason to give you a pass over anny other ban appealer based on whatever thin evidence of non-guilt you could possible have. Even if you truely, TRUELY, didnt mean to offened anyone, that attitude just shows you dont belong in this community annyway.

The answer to my response is simple, if you show us disrespect and no care, why should I? You hold a door open for me, I hold it for you, only you slammed it in our faces.
The owner of our site even went as far as to send you an explanation in a private message afterwards, very few places will have done that.

Can see thru it like a glass of water. It has nothing to offer to this community. Only flaming and offensive behaviour (something with attitude). Deserves what its asking for: a ban.

Because it totally says that mr. Finger you are wrong.
I'd recommend a better approach. Maybe request a name change, apologise and understand why both names can be seen as offencive to some users. And repost a ban appeal accepting these facts and just maybe, maybe, you will be welcomed back. Which to be honest I don't see as a bad thing. But hey, it's upto you!

You should also check out our teamspeak by the way. I'm online a few nights per week. Maybe we can have a talk, you don't seem like a bad guy. You just made a wrong turn.. or 2.. make that 3. I do advise to connect with a other name then your current forum name else I can not guarantee you're safety.
Normally I close with: See you on the battlefield!!! But I guess we all know that will never happen as you are kinda banned from our servers.
