Ok, so a couple of topics have come up and have had quite the heated debate. That is fine and all but I am going to have to ask everyone to please keep responses ontopic and please keep it civilized.
 
Second note about this. EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY HAS THE RIGHT TO RESPOND TO A THREAD EVEN IF IT MIGHT NOT EFFECT THEM. Do not tell people that they can not/should not comment on a topic because they don't play on a certain server. I think that Ryko put it best. Marksman's arent useless you can always ask your friendly Grenadier to bring some flares
 also you can perfectly shoot fine with out NVG's just give your eyes time to adjust

The Biggest Proplem is that ubisoft got all the rights on the server you cant have your own division server also its very very anoying that you can buy 15Euros for a hack , and its working a reporter of the german *gamestar* test it and its full working on the ubisoft server
 
sure its a good looking game but 60 euros for 15 hours gameplay ..yes you can play longer over and over the same missions again and buy more content but..
i dident wont buy a half game and then 5 dlcs ubi make it simular to wargaming ..
i cant remember there was a time you have pay a pc-game you got a hard copy @ home you have the right to sell it after you play it over and over and over again
But then come steam and origin and ......
 
If we look on Bohemia and the Arma series How many Dlc they got and how many free Updates then the next Battlfield should be for free the next Farcry for free and min 4 premium ships in WorldofWarships with 16skillpoint capitan for free

i see the hype on youtube, facebook.....the division so cool but i dident wont to buy it the reason its not inside what ubisoft say simular to watchdogs thats the tactic of ubisoft good trailer massiv commercials half game full price ....
 

WW2 ...never see in the offical arma serie ...very nice if you play realistic soviet tanks got no radio only flags German pak ,stg, k98....american BAR ,Flamethrower....Soviet PPS ,AVT....British Vickers... so many Guns So many planes so many tanks so F***ing much content....

And at last the supression option from RO2 if a enemy Mg shooting you visual are getting grey and its shaking you cant aim anymore you have to stay by your bros to raise your fearless level and fight the enemy otherwise you crouche in a corner and cry like a baby

Over the last while we have noticed a trend on the public servers of piloting getting steadily worse. One way pilots, constantly crashing pilots, pilots abandoning aircraft, pilots unable to land to list but a few of the issues.
 
These rules changes will not affect competent pilots.
Pilots are in charge of their aircraft they should make all efforts to keep the aircraft airworthy.
If aircraft are damaged they need to be fixed, not destroyed. If this means getting a repair specialist to travel to fix the aircraft so be it.  
Flying in a manner conducive to having you aircraft destroyed will result in discipline.
These rules will be enforced and pilots will be expected to abide by them.
The respawn time on Aircraft will be increased to encourage better flying.
 
They will be coming into effect on 01.04.16
Pilots seen to be breaking the rules will be asked to leave the pilots slot in which case they should return the aircraft to spawn and switch roles. If they refuse they will be kicked and if we see repeat offenders we will be forced to ban.
 
Examples of Poor Piloting:
Misuse of aircraft: CAS with the AA jet, practising, showboating and wasting resources. Landing too close, or flying over, the AO. It shows the pilot is not aware of the situation around him and if it results in the lost of aircraft or team mates will considered destroying assets or teamkilling. Abandoning aircraft in the field, this is all to prevalent and steps will be taken to weed out pilots who do this. Making no effort to repair damaged aircraft. Allowing your door gunners to teamkill. It's the pilot's responsibility to lock turrets. Teamkills will be attributed to the Pilots. Pilots should make a reasonable attempt to land if damaged. For example engine failure or tail rotor loss are not unrecoverable. If you don't know what autorotation is you simply should not be flying a helicopter. Not repairing aircraft in the field. If your aircraft is repairable then it must be repaired. While these are not technically new rules they will be enforced much more actively, and it is the pilots responsibility to make sure you are able to fly within the rules.

I have been playing a lot on the servers and i love it..you dont see such good servers alot on arma3, but this one ill give 5stars donation is coming soon lads i would die if this ever stopt! Keep doing what you doing

It was recently suggested that a player report form be added to report players when admins aren't around. It can be found at the top of the site under "player tools" (which is also new and has quite a few useful links) and clicking "report player". You can also find it at www.ahoyworld.co.uk/pr and when I&A is updated you can find it by QR code at the base so you can do it on mobile without even tabbing out!
 
You don't need to provide evidence but reports without evidence can be open to doubt so if you can, please do!

I was getting tired of my (in my own opinion) 1337leet tower and decided to go for something more cleaner to the eyes than the CM HAF XM case I was running my system in before.
 
The case i decided to watercool was the Corsair Carbide Air 520:

 
I started by stripping down the case to the chassis:

 
Painted the black parts red for some better contrast(the red is redder IRL then the picture,cam on phone doesnt like interior lighting):

 
 
Test fitting the front 360mm Rad, expecting tight fitment towards the top rad!:

I recall EU2 as "I+A Stratis" server and ever since i try to stay away from it (unless EU1 is down) - also i came for the game but i stay for the drama ...
Tactical / realism gameplay is what you make out of your gametime and i never face issues when walking from Kavalalalalalaaa back to base cause i got the skill of imagination to keep me busy
 
But i wouldnt mind setting a server to VETERAN diff. to spice things up (3P only for vehicles/choppers) ...
Then again,addicted to EU1 - so why would i care for EU2 or the mod infested EU3 that would take away even more from my limited playtime ...
 
 

This has been a persistent issue on our servers but seems to have increased markedly in recent weeks.
A server a a certain capacity eg on EU1 it's 60 players irrespective of whether or not they're in the game so when we see four or five lobby idlers on the server that means that four or five people are missing out on the fun. This situation needs to stop. If you want a pilot slot you will simply have to wait for it you cannot 'call it' nor can you take up space in the lobby. You will be auto kicked and if we notice you getting kicked automatically often we will step in and provide you with a temp ban. Repeat offenders will get longer and longer temp bans culminating in a permaban.
If you want a pilot slot here's what to do take a pen and piece of paper and when joining the server write down the names of the pilots. Ask nicely if the pilots could tell you when they are about to leave (don't constantly bug them for their slot). Also keep an eye on the chat and if you see one leave then hop back to the lobby and take the free space. But while you're on the server we do expect you to play. So pick a slot and play it until you see a pilot slot opening.

Edit: MarkT has made an excellent point below that if you join on ts you have a much better chance of nabbing a pilots slot!

I've made an app for mortar shooting without in-game artillery computer. Someone on EU#1 asked me to publish it.
It's available online at a3ac.app.tymek.cz 
and compiled as native application for android here. It works only when untrusted apps are allowed. I don't have Play Store account yet. Build with Cordova. It utilizes no special privileges except for network access (which I don't know how to disable in Cordova).
