  1. Firstly I do know that my name is still in the credits page in the map diary.

     

    I am making this post to ask why my name has been removed from the splash screen of I&A 3, a mission that I wrote from scratch. I have spent months working on the mission only to have my name removed, almost to say that I did not work on it almost entirely alone. To remove the author's name anywhere that the original author put their name is highly unethical.

    So what exactly is wrong with the mission then? Why are people not playing? Are they not playing because there are no pilots, if so why are there no pilots playing. Are they not playing because people don't like tanoa or don't have tanoa? Is there a bug with the mission?

  3. I am fixing any bugs that seem to pup up before doing a large update to the FOB's and Base. My original intent was that you would have to unlock the supply hemtts to use them. I do plan on having the first major update to be aimed at the FOB's and I am currently planning on putting in a crate at the FOB's that will have an addaction to repair ground vehicles, but will take a few minutes to repair/rearm. As for the enemy arty it comes up so much because it is the only priorty objective currently in and I have increased the time between when it spawns and how often it fires.

    Because you are "Invading" and annexing. It is supposed to look like a quick setup, as if you just landed and secured that position.

    Because there were originally only going to be 2 heli's but too many people complained about it. and so you can use the vehicles to get around.

    Looks like the radiotower task totally got capped as i failed to witness one radiotower (at least the marker isnt seen on map anymore) and therefor its hard to judge if a AO is safe to approach in vehicles.I just drove in a KUMA (side reward) to nearest AO,fired 2 shots then got rocketeered by enemy air with 1 single rocket. So we back to CAS is now deadly again.

    Note sure about the radio tower, they are still in and marked on the map. CAS should be deadly.

    Managed to turn a AO into a FOB after completing it,altho its hardly any difference.You get 1 Hunter HMG + GMG and a truck + a Ammo Box Cache (Arsenal).

    No Vehicle Service ability - you still have to move back to base in order to service your asset.

    Which leads to the question of "not having Vehicle Service points" like before on I+A 2 regualr spread on the island.Cant understand that not having this.

    Vehicle repair points have been replaced by the fact that a support hemtt should spawn at each FOB. Also by the fact that FOB's spawn more powerful vehicles, usually based on a certain theme for each FOB. And I do plan on putting in a system where you can initiate an assault to capture a FOB from the main base in an update at some point.

    real combat is confusing. be glad that you have the tools that you have. The group leader is real time and individual units have a few second delay.

  5. As I am sure that some of you are aware EU 2 has been restarting a lot the last few days. This has to do with a lot of the desync that has been occurring and due to the fact that it takes a while to get a mission ported to a new map. We believe that we have it narrowed down to a few things related to the new restriction system. Unfortunately the only real way to test for issues related to the desync is to test it on a live server. Please bear with us as we try to resolve these issues.

  6. Well I was trying to rewrite how the restrictions work to get better performance out of the mission as the restrictions is one of the biggest performance hogs in the mission. And if you think that we were going to allow the thermal nvgs and shit, think again. They were never going to be allowed. As for why there were so many restarts yesterday it was because I was trying to fix the arsenal but BIS wrote the arsenal in a very stupid way. Also VAS is gone but you shouldn't be needing VAS in a few days time if everything goes according to plan.

  7. Ok so Are you having problems with the defend part of the AO or just that it will not activate. If it is that it will not start it is probably because you don't have the parameter set in the description. I have not tested out the script that you have posted but it looks like it should work like how you want it to in point 2. Also for part 1 you would need to make the changes for that in the region**.sqf files.

  8. Well the problem is that no one seems to really want to help make side missions. I have gotten very few competent side mission submissions. I still have to test the 2 that were sent to me recently as well as work on the massive amount of stuff I am currently working on that are not side missions. So if you think you have a good idea for a side mission please do not just share the idea but work on making it.

  9. OK so first of all if players feel that others are causing a certain server to become toxic, please for the love of god send a pm on the forums to a member of staff. This should not be the first that I am hearing about this. Secondly I believe that this topic was to suggest an I&A server with a weapon and clothing/vehicle pack. In that regard you are all off topic and have hijacked this thread to push through your own desires. Thirdly, I am not sure as to which mods you want and why. Some of you claim that acre/ace are to complex while others claim that you want acre/ace because it is not a lot to download without weapon packs. And others don't want to join eu3 because of acre/ace but then want it on a separate server.

    Finally I do plan to run eu5 row a week of two to test out the response. However I do not have the time or energy to make the mission and sort out the mods. Also this cannot only be just the one group from eu2 that plays a lot on the server. If I do not see it expanding the player base I will kill the server at the end of the trial run.

    Brief: A helicopter has been shot down inside of Fallujah. We need to get in there and secure the crash zone and rescue any survivors and recover any bodies from the wreckage.
