  1. CBA has recently updated after the Helicopter DLC and ARMA update. CBA updated to RC6 and then to RC6 Hotfix. Unfortunately RC6 Hotfix seems to like to break some of our servers so you should make sure that you are running RC6. The RC6 download can be found HERE. As some of the EU3 players have noticed that the server has been up the past few days but unable to connect to this seems to be the main issue.

  2. Since the last couple of weeks have not had much announcement about them I have created a form for anyone request a date and time for them to host a gamenight.

    All you will need to do is put your name down, the date and time, whether it is gauntlet or a custom mission, and if it is a custom mission give a BRIEF description of the mission. I will then try to schedule the event as long as no one else has requested the date and time. I will also try to make a calendar with the requests down on it available to all.


    Mods for custom missions need to be from our mod pack.


  3. I think you are talking about the image and rules and stuff that pop up when you first connect. First it is a GUI using BIS's RSC stuff. If you have never made a gui in arma before i would first suggest that you look up a tutorial on it besuase they are a bitch to work with. If you get them wrong it will crash arma when you load the mission. Also you can't really get rid of the side pop ups without getting rid of the whole thing but if you want to add or change the hints and rules you can do that in the dialogs.hpp

  4. restriction scripts are performance killers. Plus what happens if the squads at guy goes down and there is a tank on top of your squad. Then you go to pick up the launcher and it goes poof and now the tank kills you.

     

    I'll make a post that says what weapons each class should be able to use without getting in trouble for not playing your role.

  5. You cannot edit mission.sqf in an external editor. You need to open the mission in the Mission editor in ARMA and change it there.

    The file is automatically generated and it needs to be in a very specific way, so any tampering outside of the ARMA editor will probably break it. If you have jsrs (and probably some other mods) installed an try to edit it in ARMA editor you will get some dummy objects automatically added to the mission file that will break it.

    You can edit mission.sqf, it is just really easy to break the whole thing. also if you fuck up the mission.sqm you cannot even load it in editor.

    Invade & Annex is not a mod, it is a mission. Also do you launch arma from the launcher with no mods at all?

     

     

    One question, I can't seem to edit the configs in the editor using the Splendid Config viewer thing. Am I being dumb or do I need to do it another way? THe only thing I have left to do is change the TS address on the Pilot class names I think.

    The splendid config viewer is for getting class names of everything loaded into arma from units to fire effects and sounds. You can't change that stuff without making your own mod. To change the ts address on the pilot all you have to do is double click on the pilot unit in the editor. the description line.

  6. If you did unpack the pbo then it sounds like you either are not running a mod on your server that you created a dependency for. If you are adding a mod to the mission you will need to run said mods on your server. It is possible that you are not trying to add a mod but a mod you use automatically creates a dependency and you would need to clean the mission.sqm file for it. I know JSRS used to do this but i don't know of any other mods that do so.

  7. your name was dat niqqa daz and when asked to change it you changed it to super black buy. You also had an offensive ts picture that we asked you to change but you refused to do so. Also I have never seen you on our ts before so it has not been "of no issue".
