Chuck got a reaction from PaperMexican in Squad XML Membership
Hello, so the member squad XML isn't working properly. So I've transferred everyone's details over to a new one.
Please replace the old link in your profile with the new one if you are apart of the member squad XML.
New Link: http://armasquads.com/user/squads/xml/ba0V1ckWTr19KmjjTNXvHyNILqO2hyjz/squad.xml
Please make sure you copy and paste this without any mistakes as it may mean it won't work for you if you don't.
If you still can't get the member Squad XML to work or any others please send me a PM.

Chuck reacted to Mark T in Community Update #7
What a difference a year makes, this time last year we were looking at closing shops and now I would say we are pretty stable for at least another year
As mentioned numerous times before, thank you all for your support and long may it continue.
I would like to apologies on the delay of IA4 and its new AWE counterpart, it has taken a lot longer than we had anticipated due to a number of reasons. (real life) Hopefully it wont be too long now.
Lastly, This will be my last update, I have decided that I will call it time come the end of this month and step down from the staff team completely.
I just want to thank each and everyone of you for your support especially those in the staff team and to those that brought me in, helped me along the way and trusted me at the top, thank you, you know who you are ❤️
Over and out x

!!!ONLY RESPOND IF YOU ARE REALLY INTERESTED AND YOUR AGE IS OVER 18!!!
Im keeping it short for now and will provide additional information later. Im looking for somebody to travel with me (from schiphol-amsterdam) to Kiev, Ukraine as im planning to visit chernobyl/prypjat. I have no date set yet, but it will be in february/march or maybe beginning of april. You can join me on my visit into the redzone or stay in kiev and have a look around there. Im going in with a personal guide, if you decide to join we will be with the 2 of us. Price (ticket/hotel/transport) will be around 300 euro but i can help out a bit if needed. The guide (english speaking) itself costs around 1000 euro for 2 days, payd by me. The trip will last 4 days and ill spend 1 night in the redzone (you can sleep in kiev if you want). This offer is not exclusive for ahoy, im asking on other places (travel-sites) aswell as i expect nobody here will have the -whatever- to join me (prove me wrong)!
More info: https://chernobyl-tour.com/english/
Program:
1) There can be some changes due to weather conditions.
2) You can see location of the objects/sites at the map of the Chernobyl Zone.

building of the townhouse - the first headquarters for mitigation of the accident's consequences
hotel "Polissya" which was an observation point for correcting helicopter operations over the ruin of the 4th reactor
a hospital, which accommodated the firemen and NPP workers, badly affected by the accident

Chuck reacted to Mark T in Community Update #5
Happy new year to you all, I hope you had a fantastic festive period and look forward to the challenges that 2019 will bring.
I must admit I have not been very active with the community the past few weeks as understandably it's a busy period, so I would like to thank the rest of the Team for their hard work during my absent. (sshh Xwatt)
I see you've all been made aware of Chucks situation and I for one will be sad to see him go but also happy for him to get a life
so I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chuck for his dedication to the community and wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
As you've guessed correctly Xwatt will be taking over Chucks role of Public server manager (Core Staff) he will be responsible for the likes of EU#1#2#7 and TeamSpeak, so any issues or updates that needs doing you'll have to consult with him.
Lindi has now been promoted to Admin T2 for taking the responsibilities of the Spartan Lead Project, he will supervise the team, handle recruitments and organise game nights.
JANXOL we now be responsible for the XMLs, any questions or issues goes directly to him.
I hope you all join me in welcoming them to their new role and be patient with them as you were with me.
Donators!
A few months back we were in a very dire situation in fact if nothing had changed we would probably not be here right now but thanks to you guys, we are and not only that, we are in a very healthy position for 2019. So I would like to thank you all for your support.
Again thank you all and happy new year!

Chuck got a reaction from JANXOL in Time to move on
Hello Guys and Girls,
It's time for me to leave and pass the baton over to someone else. I've got a very busy time coming up as I'm planning on joining the Royal Navy as an Aeronautical Engineer in 2019. I'm currently training to get through the fitness and swimming tests. They are looking for 2.4km in 9 minutes so I've got a lot of work to do!
I first joined this community back in September 2015, after watching Luetins famous Invade and Annex tutorial. I did a bit of flying and loved it. I thought it would be hilarious to dress up as a civilian complete with fedora and fly people around. Someone said I look like Chuck Norris because of the beard, so next time I was online I changed my name and I guess it somewhat stuck with me? Fact - I've never watched any of Chuck Norris' films.
I worked my way up from Member to Field Ambassador to Spartan to Admin and finally to Core Staff around this time last year.
Ill remain as is, to see through the launch of I&A4 which is hopefully going to be soon if the BETA tests go well in the very near future. After the release ill go back to member. I plan on still sticking my head in the door every now and then depending on when I'll be free.
I'd like to thank Mark T, we joined roughly at the same time and rose through the ranks at roughly the same pace, we recommended each other to the next role up and supported each other throughout. So thanks, Mark.
Its been great spending my time with you lot and it's unfortunate that I can't dedicate the time that I used to be able to!
My replacement will be announced tomorrow. talk about jumping in my grave

I've only played EU1 with you a couple of times and they have always been informative and we all will miss you! I'm glad to hear about your endevours and trust me on the run it will suck and you'll probably puck a couple of times (the fire dept i'm in has a FIT test and it sucked) but once you get over it you'll be fine. 50lbs of gear will be a breeze...once you spew a bit haha. Hope all the best for you and hopefully you will find some time for us with your schedule!
All the best,

I'm sad to see you leave, you've been a great addition to ahoy, and your hard work is appreciated. I'm not as sad as I would be because I know that you're moving on to better yourself, and ultimately your career, which I truly wish you all the best in.
It really won't be the same without you, but you go and smash them tests and prove to yourself that you've got the ability to make a successful career. Hope you come visit and don't become a stranger!
