Hello Guys and Girls, It's time for me to leave and pass the baton over to someone else. I've got a very busy time coming up as I'm planning on joining the Royal Navy as an Aeronautical Engineer in 2019. I'm currently training to get through the fitness and swimming tests. They are looking for 2.4km in 9 minutes so I've got a lot of work to do! I first joined this community back in September 2015, after watching Luetins famous Invade and Annex tutorial. I did a bit of flying and loved it. I thought it would be hilarious to dress up as a civilian complete with fedora and fly people around. Someone said I look like Chuck Norris because of the beard, so next time I was online I changed my name and I guess it somewhat stuck with me? Fact - I've never watched any of Chuck Norris' films. I worked my way up from Member to Field Ambassador to Spartan to Admin and finally to Core Staff around this time last year. Ill remain as is, to see through the launch of I&A4 which is hopefully going to be soon if the BETA tests go well in the very near future. After the release ill go back to member. I plan on still sticking my head in the door every now and then depending on when I'll be free. I'd like to thank Mark T, we joined roughly at the same time and rose through the ranks at roughly the same pace, we recommended each other to the next role up and supported each other throughout. So thanks, Mark. Its been great spending my time with you lot and it's unfortunate that I can't dedicate the time that I used to be able to! My replacement will be announced tomorrow. talk about jumping in my grave

So we've made the move. Everything went smoothly. The new Field Ambsaaasodors for enhanced have been reset as Colsta wants to start from scratch. So you will get approached from Colsta and invited to join if you are suitable. If you are a current field ambassador for public or get invited by Colsta, please can you send me your in-game name and UID so I can add you to the Field ambassador squad XML.

There has never been a definitive definition for Field Ambassadors, like you said, its someone who "helps out within in the community, behaves properly, sticks to the rules". If you can do that while playing EU1+2 then you can get Field Ambassador Public or if you can do that while playing AWE you get Field Ambassador Enhance and so on. Then this person shouldn't have been in the Veteran Program. We are briefly looking over everyone in the program to try and stop this in this first stage. We are also removing people who are AFK who haven't informed us.

Hello, We've decided to merge the Veteran and Field Ambassador programs, as they basically do the same thing and are in need of a refresh. So all the current Field Ambassadors + Veterans who mostly play Enhanced will become Field Ambassador Enhanced. All the current Field Ambassadors that play EU1+2 will become Field Ambassador Public People who mostly play Squad will get Field Ambassador Squad as well. This system is here to allow us to expand in the future if we want to add any more games to our servers and to give our most helpful members recognition for moving the community forward. It'll look like this on Teamspeak (This person is a field ambassador on EU1+2, AWE, and Squad): We will roll out the new naming system in the coming days awaiting the communities opinion. Hey guys, Over this month we've been overhauling the Teamspeak permissions as some of you have a lot of issues sometimes with overlapping permissions etc. Every Server group has all the permissions of the group before Guest - Can Join all public channels AW Member - Can create a subchannel in [Create your Own Sub-Channel]. Can access general file browser Donator - Can join the Donator channel, Can access donator file browser. Can poke Core Staff Most of these changes you won't see as it's mostly for the benefit of staff. The channels will do a bit of moving and updating, however, all the main channels will stay the same. I'll post again soon when all the changes have been implemented
