Besides the problem that the drone does uncalled cas on its own it has the same issues as the darters, they start spinning on the spot if you give them any height command.  If you do this anywhere close to the AO it'll also start shooting off its dars.  That's why it was removed.

CHADS Deployment Announcement
 
Map: Isla Duala
Modset: Liberation modset
Location: Newly formed Western African Republic a former French colony
 
Following 5 years of civil war between Republicans, who fought for a democratic government, and the former government of Joseph Lumumba, the now deposed dictator.
Loyalist forces are continuing to wage a semi-guerrilla style campaign against the newly formed government. The loyalists hold much territory as the forces of the new government have not been able to muster the strength to take and hold these areas. 
 
The UN has recognised the new government and deployed to the area to protect civilian life and oversee the democratic elections scheduled for later in the year.
UN peacekeepers are present in the area. Their primary role being the protection of civilian life.  
Mission des Nations Unies dans la République d'Afrique de l'Ouest (MINURAO) was established by Security Council resolution to support political processes in that country and carry out a number of security-related tasks.  The Mission was asked to support the transitional authorities of the Western African Republic in the stabilization of the country and implementation of the transitional roadmap.
 
A small CHAD force has been contracted to train and command the local army until they are ready to operate independently. While the numbers of trained personnel are still low the Combat Hounds have proposed a to run a mechanised unit consisting of both CHAD operators and local soldiers. This would allow for local soldiers to gain experience while the leadership and experience of the CHADS can be leveraged. 
 
The platoon will consist of a number of APCs with dedicated crews. These amphibious vehicles will be the main source of transport and resupply for the men in the field.
 
All CHADS are required to have their vaccinations up to date prior to deployment, and have their claim for their Combat zone advisory bonus submitted before leaving their home country.

On EU1 most of the communication related to the mission happens in-game.  We're in TS more for the social aspect than for the actual comms related to the game.  So a vortex pilot that wants to communicate with other pilots would use ingame chat or voice (in I&A3 group chat & in I&A4 air channel) and to communicate with ground forces either sidechat or vehicle chat. 

Ammo crates dropped by vortex aren't being cleaned up: these 3 crates have been at the salt flats base since I logged on at least 2 hours ago now

Another bug: vehicles aren't being cleaned up.  Leading to there being no vehicles in base for people to use.

It's a common occurrence for ambient to spawn in in response to friendlies that they can't possibly know about.

After closing the game down using ALT+ F4 my bought reward items are now gone(weapon and laser designator). The reward points I earned stayed however.

Some ideas:
Remove the perverse incentive from vortex Currently it's in Vortex' best interest to fly leisurely to the AO and speed back to base.  As vortex gets points when flying people around.  Instead have vortex earn points by dropping people of near an objective (maybe with a multiplier for distance to the objective) and for bringing them back to base. 
Introduce a kill assist mechanic Currently you can do 99% of the damage to a vehicle but if it blows up on its own after that you get no points.  At least with an assist mechanic (e.g. a hit event handler that pushes back the players uid into an array that's set on server on the affected object with setvariable) you'd get some points.
