I'm proud to announce that after a lot of hard work @BACONMOP has finished I&A 3.
I&A 3 will be the successor the the current I&A (2) that's running on the servers and has lots of different and new features such as a new medical system, the side missions now being linked to the current AO , a few "take-over-able" AO's and some nice things to do with the points you've scored playing.
 
 
We are planning on releasing it live this Sunday (23rd) at 15:00 GMT after which it can be played on EU#1 and EU#2 on Altis and Tanoa respectively. During it's launch we hope that as many of you as possible can come on the Teamspeak 3 server and enjoy the refreshing new gameplay together.
 
Before its release we would also like to make time for a community meeting specifically about I&A 3, where you can listen to how it works; but can also ask questions, which don't necessarily have to be about I&A 3; but could also be about AhoyWorld itself. 
The staff present will then try their best to answer their questions or when unclear get back to you with an answer at a later time.
This meeting would start and half an hour in front of the launch and would be from 14:30 till 14:55. Feel free to pop in at any time, but questions asked a second time will probably not be answered again; so it would be wise to show up from the start.
 
Feel free to GET HYPE down below and hopefully we will see you all this Sunday.

Hi guys we have been looking in to this game mode and I ported it to a different map which we gonna run some tests on

Be careful when joining EU#3 rules apply and the commander is in charge ( this also kinda mean with how lib works commander slot is currently Staff only)

Just like cryo i have a situation i've been faced with a few times recently. And would like to get some advice on.  So the situation:  an AO just finished and i'm (as a pilot with a chopper) close enough to evac people within a minute or so.  When i'm approaching the evacpoint I hear snaps and I can tell that the fire is comming from my 12.  This means that 1 bullet could send the heli crashing into the ground (if that 1 bullet hits the pilot, me).  
 
So what should I do?
( considering: 1 there could still be enemies at the ao targeting me, 2 people like to fire of their guns when the ao finishes, 3 people think firing in the direction of a heli will encourage the pilot to pick them up)
 
What I usually do: bug out as soon as I hear snaps comming from my 12 and, when i'm at a safe distance, tell people not to fire in the direction of my chopper.  Then I go back to evac people.
 
This has on one occasion caused a player to be 'upset' with me and fire his 30mm at my chopper, knocking out the engine and the main and tail rotor.  Causing me to crash, and another pilot having to fly the 10k to the old ao.  This is a bit of an extreme reaction I usually only get called all kind of things.
 
Usually people get mad because I 'waisted their time'.  Yes I did waist a full minute or mayby even 2 minutes of their time.  But if I'm shot down they'll have to wait even longer.
 
So am I handeling it wright or shouldt I handle it differently (an how then)?

So recently Bartlett introduced me to a game mode, "Liberation", and it eventually struck me that it might be a fun thing to run on EU#5, as I understand it's currently sitting idle.

Now, my idea was that, if nothing else, it could be a good alternative on the modded side running ACE and TFAR.
 
I've been led to believe that it does feature support for some weapons and vehicles addons, such as RHS, but I've so far been unable to find a comprehensive list to know for certain.
 
I've been able to locate a version on Altis preset with basic ACE3 functions, here: https://github.com/bramjam/greuh_liberation_ACE3.Altis/releases
 
TFAR, as I understand it, is plug-and-play, and as such won't need any effort in terms of integration?

This is a scream for attention, like kids do. They feel alone and/or not heard, so they go for th easiest form of attention: negative attention. Then I don`t know how, your ban was somehow deleted from the logs (might have something to do with some internal stuff we were busy with) and you got banned again for advertising another Teamspeak address on September 10th. This time you used the name of DevilsUrn.

I do have to be honest and share my opinion with you. If you would kept your temper and posted a ban appeal, a lot of stuff could have been discussed in it. Doesn't sound like us, are you 100% sure this was our server? We are the original creators of the I&A mission and more than 100 other communities use our mission. We regularly have people appear who aren't actually on our servers. Please PM me the video and I'll investigate for you.

TeamSpeak information in group chat. The result was a mass exodus because you couldn't control that itch. Banned for ban avoidance. As if that is at all possible. Team killing the team killers so that the rest of the server would do well is a criminal act – I accept that ban with pride. Yet, you were told why verbally over the coms. Yet still allow them instigators to game on - shameful.
