The CIA tracked every lead they could get their hands on and learned that he will be attending a business meeting regarding a big shipping operation in Albania. For this, we have dispatched a black ops unit to kidnap him and cease the operation by any means necessary.

    We need to either intercept the soviet arms dealer in transit and interrogate him about the shipping operation OR track him to the site. Either way we need him alive. We know of an Albanian Lieutenant in the area with some information on the cargo and manifests, it would be nice to capture him as well. From there, it's search & destroy on the shipping operations.
     
    Execution
    At CMD's discretion.
    "Poseidon" needs to be grabbed alive. He has most likely planned multiple escape routes, so swiftness and accuracy is of utmost importance. ROE is only fire if confirmed hostile.

    Overall command falls on CIA Operations Chief "Overlord". Operational command falls on CMD.
    This is an off-the-book operation. We only want high value individuals (Lieutenants, chief of operations, drivers etc.), the rest is at CMD discretion.

    Section cohesion is of utmost importance. The enemy outnumbers us greatly and will not hesitate to exploit gaps in our situational awareness.
    Counter-attacks and a general resistance to our efforts will ask for quick shifts in our tactics.

    Reinforcements are unlimited and directed by CMD. Resupply is CMD’s prerogative.
    Enemy prisoners of war (POW) are to be treated well and brought to base for questioning.

    2. The mod allows loading appropriate cargo and logistics objects onto vehicles to transport more conveniently and awesomely. It comes with a container / pallet functionality, which allows stacking of smaller items such as ammo and launcher crates onto a pallet, which is loaded as a whole onto the bed of a lorry or a roof rack. Much of it is available for paradrops.
    There is also a fortifications module that I have not tested, but promises to meaningfully adapt fortifications like sandbags and H-barriers to cargo and a built-in construction system.

    4. Liberation is already playing towards logistics, but it can be a little unsatisfying with only ACE cargo available. Loading up supplies adds a gameplay dimension we don't often explore past bringing a medical crate, which is mostly forgotten about, hidden in a Humvee way back.
    The fortifications can feasibly replace or supplement GRAD trenches (depending on their bug status), without being magic. 
     
    Outside of Liberation, getting used to it for gamenights enables us to bring logistics into the scope of a mission. Establish a forward observation post. Supply it. Defend it.

    I've already said this to Havoc in teamspeak but I should probably put it here as well: in I&A3 the server is limited to 60 players and there are 64 slots in the lobby.  There's thus always be 4 open slots which, in my opinion, negates the need for special slots for zeuses.  I&A4 will have this though.

    This feature request is primarily for I&A, but can also be implemented on other missions too.
     
    In the last few weeks there have been moments where the server was completely or close to being filled up and that's when I had the idea for whitelisted slots for staff members. This way when a staff member wants to zeus or monitor the mission or server, they won't have to fill up a role that otherwise another player can join and leaves more room for players when the player count is building up.

    I think it's better if you design the rule-set in such a way that doesn't necessarily restrict armored vehicle usage, but reinforces the co-op and combined arms aspect of I&A and the role of the vehicle.
     
    - No solo crewing.
    Vehicles like MBT's and APC's are to be used by a crew of two or more.
     
    - APC's are also to be used as transport.
    In a situation like where a new AO has spawned within driving distance, APC's in the area can be requested to provide transport.

    I am eager to announce that together with Christiansen, Havoc & SiegeSix we are bringing several workshops to the Ahoyworld masses!
     
    With the influx of new members and the absence of similar events we saw it fit to introduce a series of workshops that will help introduce some of the trickier content available on the modded servers, particularly AWE.
     
    With these workshops we Intend to provide an introduction/refresher course on a series of subjects that you may encounter while playing with Ahoyworld. Our goal is to lower the bar of entry to these subjects and motivate you to play around with them more than you may already have. 
    This will not be a hardcore boot camp training course but instead a fun and friendly environment to help you familiarise with the subjects we have planned thus far.
     
    For now, we are still in the middle of crafting the workshops. Yet we would like to know which workshops pique your interest most. I therefore would like to ask you to head over to this poll and vote for the subject that you want to participate in.
     
    Specific event dates will be announced in the future in the events subforum!

    Ahoyworld welcomes streamers and video creators to our servers, and we appreciate your continued presence. We have a official branded banner which you can use in your stream (ask Staff for more info), but ask that you follow a few guidelines when you do so:

    1) Be an example of Ahoyworld's ideals ("AhoyWorld is a welcoming community that respects its members and visitors."). We want your viewers to feel like they will be welcomed if they want to join in some time!

    2) Please use our Teamspeak 3 "Server Group" feature to mark yourself as "Streaming", and make it known in briefing that you're streaming. This is a courtesy for other players in the channel. (Not mandatory for gamestyles where we don't require TS usage)
     
    3) Ask us to re-stream your stream on the official Ahoyworld Twitch channel.

    Video creators, you have much more control over what gets put onto your channel as it is not live. Please continue to use good judgement about things you upload with the Ahoyworld name attached.
     
    If something reportable occurs that is seen in stream, we ask reporters to include a link to the full length stream VOD and a timestamp in the report.
    Do not use the "clip" feature on Twitch etc. Reports are to be anonymous (via the form) and should not have a negative impact on streamers.

    Mod name is 'Knock People Unconscious', It allows players to knock out other players and AI by using a binded key or ACE interaction menu, knocking people doesn't deal any damage.

    Actually handcuffing AI is giving us more than this mod can give. However, If handcuffed AI is not surrendering (Handcuffed when unconscious or someone ran to them and managed to cuff) it gives away player positions constantly and all the AI in AOs start marching towards players. Additionally, It gives players a chance to taste melee combat in ArmA. Also sometimes civillians keep running in middle of firefights and end up dying.
     
    With this mod we can make ArmA feel like an actual game, level up stealth gameplay by keeping POWs unaware and we can keep civillians down. 
     
    By the way, the mod was allowing players to knock out anyone including friendlies but I talked to modder and they updated the mod with some CBA settings.

    Just an idea but maybe we could give CSAT their own little aircraft carrier somewhere in the ocean with on board AA (~ 5-8 km range) for their jets to spawn from ( spawn them above the carrier and have them fly to the target). That way they cant be "spawn camped" and don't just appear out of nowhere lined up on their target.

    Advanced Sling Loading
     
    2.     Describe what it does, or how you see it working
    Advanced Sling Loading is like the Advanced Towing, but for aircrafts. It keeps the vanilla automatic sling loading, but also adds a manual sling loading feature.
    This feature includes the ability to sling load up to THREE different objects. The user or the pilot can then adjust rope length, drop individual cargo, carry vehicles which the vanilla system can't sling and more. Weight is also a factor in this mod, so the bigger the bird, the bigger the cargo it can lift.

    As of the current iteration of Liberation (BAF VS idk), the Merlin is not able to sling load an infantry vehicle like a Jackal, this should create a workaround. It also allows the ability for a pilot to grab up to three supply boxes at a time across the map, which is a boring drive for logi.
    A major improvement is the ability for vortex to pick up captured vehicles and all the pilot needs to do is drop the ropes and let the soldiers hook up the vehicles.
     
    Here's a Pro & Con:
    Pro: Sling vehicles that can't be slung with the vanilla system, carry more than 1 object at a time, saves time transporting objects back and fourth, can use the features inside and outside of the aircraft.
    Con: It's a manual feature like the towing mod
