Guys, our servers have been hacked twice today, the core staff is aware of this and are doing there best too figure out what and who is going on. If people keep hacking our server please notify an admin and be patient. We are trying to find out who it is through a process of elimination. If you get kicked from one of our servers and you are not the hacker just stay out of the server for a bit and come back when its restarted or things are under control. 
 
Information that can help us!
- Recent unknown players that connect before the hack
- Players not being affected by the hack
- People who are being funny
- What exactly is happening
 
 
Please be carefull on who you accuse. And be patient with the AW Staff.

i would beg to differ scar, a lot off people play this game a lot (almost everyday) and will have got the game for a lot less than most games will cost now. so i think that giving the developer that has supported this game for a long time and will continue to do so some money and repaying them for the time that has been spent supporting this game is worth it and i think people should stop complaining about a 20% off because they think that everything in life should be free and they are gods gift.

To get the development build/ Early access (Map Only) In your steam library go to [Steam->Arma 3-> Properties->Betas-> Select the Development build in the drop down, No access code needed if you pre ordered the game.

I'd buy it now to save the 7 bucks, doubt it will drop lower than the 20% during the steam summer sale based on how Bohemia has priced things in the past with their new content.
 
In terms of the map, AI changes, new campaign and faction, I would argue this is Operation Arrowhead 2.0, and this is definitely worth your money. And yes, give EU 1 or EU 2 I & A 3 with it. The amount of new content, almost limitless new Zeus potential, and all around hype will make it well worth the effort. Plus, to be one of the only ArmA communities with a fully working new map would surly bring in a lot more people (good and bad >_<')

I kicked you because i was told that it was not the first time you flew away from the base with nobody in your chopper, so i was keeping an eye on you while i was in zeus at the time that i kicked you and there was not any AA around the base so IDK what was shooting you. Next time hop on TS or ask for your slot back and id be happy to give it back. As long as you are abiding by the rules.

Hello everybody, i will be doing a basic flight school for I&A this week.
 
Anybody can be a good pilot, you do not need a joystick or TrackIR. I started flying with my mouse and keyboard when Arma 1 was released i then flew with TrackIR and a logitec G940 which was awesome  but now that those no longer work after 2 years abuse im back to my mouse and keyboard. 
Dslyecxi from shack tactical fly's with mouse and keyboard but he has TrackIR. Now If you have a joystick you do have a pretty decent advantage and better control on your landings, but if the approach is proper, a landing should be pretty simple. And like they say practice makes perfect, if the servers are empty or you are board hop on the editor and fly around push your self and find ways to make your flight safe. 
 
You will not receive any kind of special treatment over others when it comes to who gets a pilot slot!!!!
 
This is gonna be done on my own private server run off of my computer (10 Slot's) Maybe EU 4 if it is available.  
 
If you are not able to land/take off without autohover, i suggest you practice more in your editor and join us the next time i do one of these.

It should work fine... As long as you are sure it is the stratis version. I will download the mission myself and see if i have the same problem, if i do i will try and find the problem. 

I think the marksman and Recon team should be allowed to use NVG And Thermal's.

In order to make it more milsim all assets will now only be purchased via Ahoycoins. I have included a brief list to show roughly how it works but a full and complete list will be published in a number of days.
A-10 = 500A¢
AH-64 = 300A¢
HK416/M4 = 30A¢
Bigger rifles = 50A¢
30rnd 5.56 = 10A¢
30rnd 7.62 = 15A¢
100rnd 5.56 = 50A¢
Fuel = 1% = 1A¢
Repairs = 20A¢ per damaged component.
Medical supplies = 5A¢ per item

T'was a cold Easter morning, so I stayed in bed a little longer  . I went over to the lovely city of Leeds and visited the Royal Armoury Museum. If you're interested in all things guns, swords, pointy things, sharp things and shiny things then this is the place for you!
If you ever plan to visit car parking is not a problem and there's even some nice restaurants opening up to facilitate your belly.
 
Entry is free, unless your a tax paying British citizen then congratulations you've already paid!
So from walking in you're immediately greeted with an MG42! it's a kids play thing where you insert a quid into the slot and get to pew pew the bad guys. Looking up is impressive as you waft over to the reception desk you'll see a rather nice statue I was stupid enough NOT to take a picture of. Now me and my family were tipped off that there would be some jousting on display and after enquiring we had exchanged around a fiver each to see the three o'clock event. Book early to avoid disappointment and i should point out that I'm told jousting only really occurs around the Easter holidays. Who knew they had a world championship for hitting each other with lances on horseback?
 
Oh they also have actors pretending to be statues, here's a picture of a dude confusing the fuck out of the actor who probably thought we were in the same group.

above: Yes that's right, a moustache on a helmet, Italian designed but i can't remember much else on that one
 
below: Henry the 8th must've been a giraffe, his battle suit of armour stands really tall and now looking back at the picture, it's probably trickery, unless he really was a giraffe!
 

 

 
above: Apparently crotchless pants were a thing back in the day too. I don't have anything useful to say on this armour but I think it used to be a shiny blue, this pearlescent colouring was achieved by dangerously messing around with mercury while the armour was made.

above: following on from the blue detailing of armour, here's the detail in somebody's knee plating, nothing is scarier than knee's with teeth! 
 
below: again to follow on from the previous detailing pictures, this last one really shows that an armour craftsman is also an artist. When you go to the armoury, have a read into the manufacturing process of each type of technique employed to reach a certain look, fascinating!
 

 

 
above and below: a siege tower I'm sure that some of you interested in this era will already have seen, however for the un-initiated, this thing moves towards a wall, perhaps of a city or a castle. When it gets to the wall, the chaps inside release the ramp, climb the ladders and seek to destroy the defenders!
