I have spoken to the banning admin, it seems you aren`t being completly honest.
 
You have been seen mass teamkilling twice, once under the name of Harry, the second time after your current name. Your "love" for the server doesn`t seem truthful. It sounds like you love to create a mess in the base, something that is on the top of our list of forbiden actions.
 
If you are still interested into playing here, try posting a new ban appeal in 6 months.

I see why you are frustrated, I has happened to me before. You take time to sneak into the side mission and someone comes in guns blazging. Then I remember I am playing on a public server, where gameplay differs from player to player. It`s not supposed to be following chain of command, ROE, etc.., it`s a server where people come to have some fun, shooting AIs, competing who gets the most kills.
 
We have our Enhanced server that might suit you, see its subsection.
 
Now the offtopic rant:
Every member of the forum (not just AW members) has a right to post its opinion/suggestion/critique in a civilized manner. I believed no one crossed that line. They all stated their honest opinion that is equal to yours, they only added a "solution". I see no reason why you think they had a go at you.

At first: I completely share you frustration if its about the side mission being wasted/failed by triggerhappy-lookatmeimarambodestroyingeverything-hero's. 
 
Secondly: 
- It isnt a 100% members only forum, but the majority reading the forum are the active members im sure. I dont have the exact stats, but im sure the majority of the people wasting the sidemission dont even know theres a ahoy-forum. Let alone visit it, let alone read all the posts (including this one).
 
At last (in 2 parts):
 
- I dont represent myself as ahoy spokesman but i do give my opinion as i did here before. The point i want(ed) to make is the following: the majority (you included Dai-San) of the ahoy members are very capable arma players. And with some searching on the forums, you find out the side-mission is the most discussed topic if it comes to invade and annex (together or thanks to the endless discussion about the side rewards). I didnt step up on behalf of ALL Ahoy but im 100% sure everybody on this forum knows how to play the side missions. 
-About me being a ahoy member: im quite well known in the community i think, most people like me and maybe some people dislike me for sure. Im here for over 2 years, being a member for about 15 months and for about a year a donator. Since David took over ahoy im a field ambassador, something i didnt ask for. My approach, specially if there were new players who had 0 experience is to introduce them to invade & annex and do some training, this includes explaining the side-mission.
 
In short
Side mission fails are frustrating.
Side mission fails are part of the game until the servers become private.
I had no intention flooring or insulting anyone.
The forum has a very limited reach if it comes to people who dont know what they are doing.
I prefer to help people in the game, also explaining the side.
I think you misinterpeted me or understood me wrong in my intentions.

This is a test weekend to see how the server handles it, how many players do we get for possible future events on the server (PvP, Zeus Gamenights or other COOP missions).

Although all mods from our public repository are allowed, I would strongly suggest NOT TO USE JSRS APEX.

Let me first start off with a big thank you to all of our players from the EU3 AWE team. We really appreciate your continuing support, especially when we roll out big updates and experience some issues with it. Also I need to say a big thanks for the constant feedback being given to us on how these changes are affecting things on server, keep it coming.
 
However, I have to address a specific issue withing this post, Acre. This is a public service announcement, so to speak, as well as a request.
 
Before you connect to EU3 AWE next time:
 
1. Make sure you have Acre updated to the new, correct version (2.2). This includes the teamspeak .dll files.
2. Make sure you have TFAR deactivated. Acre and TFAR conflict, causing lots of bugs.
 
And please, make sure you check!
 
If you still experience issues please post them in this thread. Include what this issue was, who it affected, what you were doing, what they were doing, and any other relevant information. As well as this please include the version with sub-release (press j ingame and the mission file name will tell you). The current version is 48C. 
 
To keep you updated with what we are doing to try and tackle the radio issues currently being faced, we will post any updates specific to Acre, in this thread, so keep an eye on it. As of the time of writing we have amended a setting within 48D so that radio antenna directions are ignored with regard to interference. In addition to this radios are now only available from the arsenal, within the miscellaneous tab of inventories. The static radio box has been removed. 
 
Sub-release 48D will be activated on the server shortly.
 
We are aware of a specific issue regarding the radios and boats, please continue to use the boats, and if this error occurs again after performing the above mentioned actions, post it!

I remember your name and in my logs I have an entry about you being kicked. Any idea why have I done that?
 
You are partially honest as well, you were banned for advertising a server on the map (placing a marker with the server name).
 
The thing that was most worrying was calling an admin a really inappropriate name.

Thanks for all the work to set them up again.

A better description would help.
 
EDIT: your Steam ID would help as well.

An apology instead of attacking a staff member would be better.
Your case is a perfect example why ban appeals are not done via TS. Only 2 persons see the conversation, here, everyone can follow it.

After speaking with Zissou and reviewing all the entries we have about you, I`ve come to this conclusion:
 
Your ban is lifted, but it comes with a big warning sign. If any behaviour from the past repeats, the ban will be reinstated. Another thing I need to warn you about is the helicopter respawn timers have been readjusted, meaning your favourited Hummingbird takes a lot longer to respawn, so we don`t want to see you standing around doing nothing. You get flagged by BEC for lobby-idling, the ban gets reinstated as well.

If you're aiming to play on EU3, AKA Enhanced, yes you need ACRE2.

Use the Enhanced repository and the ACRE2 installer in Arma3Sync, under Tools.

These mods are required for EU3.

If your goal is to play in EU1 or 2, you don't need any mods. You can use those allowed by the servers, which are the ones in the Allowed repository.

All three servers are public, if you could specify which one you're trying to enter, it'd be easier to help you out.

After review all the posts on the forum and PMs, I`ve made my decission that the ban will be reduced and will be lifted today around midnight / 24.00 BST.
 
Liru has been informed about this decission via PM as well, with all the details.
