There is, and we have used it in the past. However, it introduced some issues regarding a bug. This bug meant people suffered broken legs constantly and it was not possible to fix without staff being present to manually execute a code. This bug does now have a fix but it can be cumbersome in its implementation.
Broken legs are not something we at all want to return to

After a quick restock and rearm, units set out to take the area around Al-Fuah and root out any opfor in the nearby towns, as I plan to use Al-Fuah as the staging area for the last push towards the NE airfield. After LOGI transported the units deep into enemy territory, units set out to clear land towards Al-Fuah and then push into Karasu.

Upon entering the town of Karasu, due to unknown reasons a civilian got shot, rapidly waking the town and making the village elder call the local opfor garrison sending specialist troops to defeat us. Our units suffered alot of casualties and forced the remainder to fight in close quarters while retreating to Al-Fuah.

    After this endex was called.

    De-Brief 26/05-17

Due to numbers being low, a single crucial objective was chosen and units ordered to pack their parachute for a low altitude jump at night.
During the drop most of the units was scattered along a line that was around 2km long, after some time everyone was reorganized at a nearby lighthouse.
There was one casualty in the drop, how he met his fate is unknown.
The main objective was briefed in-field and orders to ASL was as follows: Push through Sanobar,Al-Safyrah clearing any contact and capture the nearby airfield, as this gives us a longer runway to use in case its needed. Units pushed through with light contact in both towns, but room clearing was skipped for the most part so there may be OPFOR still in the towns.

Upon assaulting the main airfield forces took 3 casualties to a DSHKM and let a MI-8 take off, its unknown what was on that chopper or where it was headed too.

This session was ended here as numbers where low and I was content with what was achieved with the number we had.

When we had no insta death no matter what, the gameplay devolved as did player skill. Massively. Players just rushed head-on with no fear of dying, because they couldn't, in fact, die.

I don't agree and even think that we already have too many pilots, 4 (pilot) slots should be enough.
Don't forget that Arma is a infantry game not a jet fighter simulator.

Very good than I can help you further with troubleshooting:

Type in your browser "fritz.box" that should lead you to a site where you can make a lot of adjustement on ports/priorisation/etc also there you can check your data-transmission.

    Here a few troubleshooting possibilities:
First of you will want to go to Internet->DSL-Informationen (buttons on the left side of the page). Then you will want to click on a button on the top that says DSL. That should lead you to a site where you can see what your DSL speed actually is. What values do you have in the first two lines (Datenrate Max and Datenrate Min)? (BTW in the two lines below is shown what you should get/for what you pay for. If the values of how many kbit/s you get are a lot lesser than the ones you are paying for it might be a good idea to call your provider and ask for a lower price.)

If you are playing via WLAN you will also want to go to  WLAN->Funkkanal and check there how many other signals are on the same channel as your one. If you see a channel that offers less signal interupption change your channel to that one (probably 13 will be the best channel because all Fritz-Boxes only set their channel between 1 and 11 by default what means that only users with a little bit more experience are using 12 and 13 and 13 is the most farest channel to the default ones what means that there is probably the lowest interruption by signals that use nearby channels.)

hmm that is definitly a lot and the number is static because it is the max you received. And this high value will most definitly just be there since the Glasfibre has been deployed what than means that the cable is also good. So it´ll probably not be your connection.

    Hello!

We are pleased to introduce a new team within AhoyWorld - “Outreach”. This team will be responsible for media distribution and communications within and outside AhoyWorld.

    What are our aims?

The team has two main objectives within AhoyWorld. The first is to ensure that the staff have clear lines of effective communication with the AhoyWorld community. This is to ensure that any announcements are transparent and made to a professional standard.

The second aim is to increase the social media presence of AhoyWorld on all social media platforms. We believe this will improve player interaction through social media and will promote the community and the AhoyWorld servers, with important announcements also appearing on our social media.
This also means production of new media to promote AhoyWorld servers, and encourage greater player attraction  to  our community.

    Our team

We are a five man team that consists of both players and staff members. This is to ensure that we can get feedback on updates from all levels of the community before changes are made and the announcements are published. We have decided on a team that will attempt to represent both our public servers and the Enhanced server equally.

MuckDuck - Team Lead Ghostdragon - Website Coordinator D.Devil - I&A Coordinator Amentes - Spartan Contact Kingfisher - Media Coordinator Origins
We feel that the Outreach initiative will open up new and transparent avenues of communication to benefit the community as a whole. As such we hope to engage you all in discussion and get everyone involved in the goings-on of AhoyWorld.

    Regards,
    The Outreach Team

Generally speaking, you don't want your max load figures to closely match. Peak efficiency for most PSUs occurs at or around 50% load, but that's not the reason I recommend a new PSU.

Your 430W Pure Power L8 provides 396W combined on its 12V rails. That's the part that actually supplies power to your performance components such as graphics cards and CPUs. So the margin got ever so slightly tighter there. You could run it fine, it would work (possibly), but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable stressing it in any way. Simply because the Pure Power series is a set of budget PSUs that frankly are not meant for high-end rigs. You see, the quality of a unit isn't just measured in wattage and efficiency ratings, but wire gauge, capacitors and soldering. Yours quite simply isn't up to snuff, not to mention that it doesn't even have 2x 8-pin connectors, another indicator that this isn't its intended purpose.

Yes. Better to have a higher power supply to sustain >50% load as suggested by @SkullCollector. Try an alternative like Taiwanese brands like I have.

Your 430W PSU will struggle with such a powerhouse at high loads, so consider upgrading that as well. Suitable tier-2 and tier-1 PSUs include EVGA GQ, SuperNOVA GS, G2 and G3, most Seasonic and Cooler Master V and VSM series. You'll want no less than 550W, depending on your upgrade path you could go as high as 850W but it takes a lot to saturate that nowadays. Unless you plan SLI in the near future, stick to 550 to 650 and you're absolutely fine.

Don't skimp on the PSU, though, it's the piece that keeps your PC from mimicking an electric chair for its components in its free time. If necessary, I highly (highly!) recommend stepping down to a 1070 to make room for a decent PSU in your budget, in case your budget is limited at all.

Maybe you could take your GPU to a friends place to try it in a different PC. I guess any motherboard with a PCIe bus should work.

I see.. Hmmm.. Maybe the thermal paste is old and therefore it overheated even with little load..

You said that your PC won't even start with the GPU in, right? Are you getting any beeping noises when trying to turn it on? Or more specifically, are you getting any beep codes?

Have you also tried fully uninstalling your Nvidia drivers and reinstalling them?

You could also try resetting your BIOS. You can do this by taking that little battery out of your motherboard, waiting a minute and putting it back in again. All while your PC is turned off ofcourse.

Yep, perfectly possible. It should be held on by a few screws.
Is it maybe an overheating issue? What temps did you have before it failed?

If I understand this correctly and you have one cable splitting into two 6-pin slots, then this is what has killed your gpu. I did the same thing on my old graphics card and it ended up doing the same as yours. When you get your new one, make sure its one cable to one 6-pin slot, I did this by buying a 4-pin (Which aren't used for anything on my pc) to 6-pin converter as my power supply doesn't have two 6-pins either.
[Edit] I meant to say buy a converter which turns two 4-pins into one 6-pin.

Maybe take the caseplate off the GPU to inspect the PCB for any fried SMDs. How old is the card?

Also, you can try adding more power. Although it worked before aye?
I once had an issue and fixed it by adding a second power cable to the GPU. In case you are only running one cable, try two if your GPU has ports for it. (Dunno what the Jetstream looks like)

    EDIT:
Just looked it up, you should have two 6pin power connectors on your Graphics Card. If you have the cash to try things out, buy a separate cable for each. Just need to have enough ports on your power brick too.
But again, no idea if this is the issue. I am neither an IT guy nor have had this particular issue. I am just throwing ideas out there.

    Hi @Stuart.G,

nice to see you playing again.
For troubleshooting may try open the task-manager while playing Arma so you can look at the stats when the lag occurs. That way you can check if it´s hardware, too much processes, a specific process or your network.

You say it worked on and off for a while before completely blowing. To me it sounds like something cooked through. Is it the power cable to the GPU maybe?
