Ahoy all,
We have heard the requests made for TFAR to be permanently run on I&A3 on our EU2 server, as such, its here!
We are trialing running TFAR on EU2 all the time now. The test will run for a few weeks and if the feedback is good then it will stay for the long term!
Hope you all enjoy this new variation of I&A 3 on our servers!

Ascii characters are not allowed in chat because our player base is mostly European and we want to ensure the legibility of chat for our users.Hi !
Can U please remove ASCII plugin from admin mod ?
i am not English, so i use two language on my computer.
and as u know "Shift" and "Alt" buttons are really useful in game and i always get warn and kick-off your server because using ASCII rule.
please do something about this

The issue is, as Stan said, what can we really do? What do you propose? It's impossible for admins to monitor all the time and nearly impossible to stop via code, we would love to help and look at ways we can prevent it and are actively doing so all suggestions are appreciated

Roger I'll keep investigating!Noticed the slightly different (better) AI behaviour. Got better FPS too. But got alot more rubberbending and glitches shortly (just the first 20 minutes) after joining the restarted version 3 also. I'll check in tomorrow to verify my observations.

Hi guys,
Shactac have messed up the upload for STUI. There is an easy fix though.
Navigate to:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\107410\498740884\addons
In this folder delete all the 1.2.4.bisign files
Then go to:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\workshop\content\107410\498740884\keys
Then delete the 1.2.4.bikey
And all should be good to join EU2 for the zeus op!
EU1 will work once restarted in the AM

This is completely incorrect, as there was 500 euro on a non-ahoy bank account kept for reserve, held by Mark, as he posted in one of the communitie updates.
Maybe so, but that was the last backup. And as core we agreed that if it came to that then we would have to cut back on servers and what we offer the community.
If you want to discuss specifics on the funds that's one thing. But we are a community and rely on the donations of said community. If we are relying on cushions from those in power all the time this is not how I see this community being run.

Yeah mini, Not that simple. Yes i can close the other server. But this will break it for when @kennychr comes back to redo the MSO and thats not fair. The main issues are the ports, and the ACE version that is coming out after the new DLC. There is no point in me starting setting things up just to have to redo them in another month. Its a waste of time. Plus if the server were to release by then it would have to come back down to fix issues. So we are waiting.

Hi guys,
A while ago we tried to have content creators from the community feed us videos from our servers to be uploaded to our youtube channels. This came across some issues and ultimately we decided to put the program on hold until we were comfortable with another way of running things.
I am glad to announce that today is the day! using one of the servers and a program called resilio we think that we have come up with a strategy that will work and should offer a more consistent experiance for all.

The reasons that the server closed were purely for the reason that the gameplay experiance was not enjoyable for the community so we decided that the server was better to be closed and re-evaluated when we had time to organise and clean the modset to better represent the community!
We had reports that the server was being used in a way that meant people were not looking forward to playing on it and had reports that people would join and then leave because they couldnt use the equiptment or enjoy their gameplay playing on the server when they choose to.

This is more an idea for the default state. This will not effect gamenights or things like thatSeems best to have more options and ability to play as different factions. Seems better to have more freedom than to linit things too much especially if you want to attract more new players.

So far the votes seem to be quite close, I just hope that the poll will be closed on a specific time frame to prevent bias. Closing it when the vote falls on favour of a perticular side would be pretty scummy compared to choosing a preset timeframe to close the vote. May I suggest the end of the upcoming week at a perticular time? [mention=4388]GhostDragon[/mention]
The tone here suggests I am biased and removes my credibility of this to be a valid result. All I can say is this poll will be closed at the end of this month. I like the discussion that is going on and feel it is useful.
Ps if I wanted to close when it went in favour of one or the other there has been ample opportunity to do that by now.

This would be available with the blu/red option!

The issue i forsee is that a group of players will get on and decide what faction they like. This will lead to other factions not being played and then people joining and leaving due to not being able to play how they want. This is why, in my opinion it should be a relaxed arsenal until a gamenight or structured night.

as someone that played both systems, i find that SL being a tl works well in situations where a platoon command is present.
Yes a separate TL can reduce load on a SL but as someone that played SL in the zeus ops i dont really think that load needs lightening.
it also encourages the SL to separate from the squad more, making it hard to keep squads close together and organised
