Looking at our records, I have noticed that this was not your first ban on the Ahoyworld servers.
On 24th July 2017 a ban for Trolling on teamspeak, it was a permanent ban that had been reduced to a 7 days ban after your appeal.
 
This week you have been banned because of a verbal abuse against another player.
The admin that banned you had a chat with you after it on teamspeak.
 
Apparently the first ban was not enough of a warning that we do not like this kind of behaviour.
Ban appeal is denied.
 
I suggest that you wait at least 6 months for the next appeal.

You were banned on 8/9/2014 for Ban Evasion, Destroying assets, Destroying base structures / Teamkilling and Trolling.
All in all a pretty hefty list.
 
You appealed also in October 2016 and that appeal was then denied.
 
After three and a half year being banned I am willing to give you a new opportunity to play with us, but..
We have a nice set of rules for our servers, the one for the #EU1 Invade and Annex can be found here in this link.
 
I suggest that you read the rules and live by them, because a next ban appeal will not be in your favor.

Over the last year and a bit I've put a lot of my free time into Ahoyworld.  Right now the time has come for me to take a step back and leave the staff team, I'll be taking a break of an undetermined length. This because I've been spending just a bit too much of my free time as Ahoyworld staff.  I need to get my priorities, like my real life, straight again. There are no hard feelings between me and anyone from the staff team.  You'll still see me around on teamspeak and on the server but as just another player.  
 
I'd like to thank everyone for my time on the staff team, I truly enjoyed it.

Hello Jan, You were banned in February in 2017 for advertising a other Arma 3 server. 
 
We do not allow this because we do not want any recruitment on our servers, also the online safety of our players is very important to us. 
Who knows were internet links or IP addresses will lead a to. 
 
Looking at the ban report from 2017, it does not give me a 100% assurance that you were indeed advertising or just saying to a friend that you were switching to a other  server. 
A year has passed, therefor I am willing to unban you, but if you do advertise again, you will receive a permanent ban from our servers.

Hi to all that take the time to read this intro .
 
So not to say much but have been playing on Ahoy servers for a while now and some of the guys who I've played with in this time are (Lindi,Plant1ng,Stanhope,Admiralbumfluff,Skalman to mention a few) There have also been some other unlucky fellows who have witnessed first hand my amazing piloting skills. 
 
Other than that, I'm super excited to be a part of this community and doing my part where ever I can! I dont know much about much right now but I've steadily started to learn and plan on keeping that up.

Found some time this morning, jumped on some random American server and managed to have a lot of fun even though my ping was somewhere closer to 200.

Got into the medic slot, had a great SL that was calm, level headed and had a clear picture of what was going on. I managed to save and help a lot of team mates and even got myself a few kills.
 
It's quite some time since I've experienced a rush like this!

Because when i did get banned first i did get kicked like 2 times by admin. In your ban appeal and your messages to me you did not even take the trouble to apologize for your behaviour and actions, the only thing I can read are demands from your side.

So you say i have to remain banned over 2 years cause i called an admin "autistic"? And the report don't say anything about my name, cause admin said that i should change it and i asked him several times why with no answer, only i got kicked out of the server by him and i thought it was cause my name. so the ban appeal was true but it has been so long since it happened so i don't remember all. And why i cant do my ban appeal again now when i know the reasons why i have been banned? over 2 year ban seems "litle" exaggerated to me, taking into account the seriousness of my crime. Also crashing the heli on purpose crime is wrong cause everyone does crash sometimes and i certainly didnt ever crash on purpose to anything.

As I mentioned in the message I send to you when you reported solex's post you can file a report against him here if you think that what he did was wrong.  
 
To address some of the points you make:
A ban appeal is the place where you share your opinion of what happend/your side of the story.  The community referee, solex, then looks at the evidence/other side of the story we have.   If you want to file another ban appeal you can, nobody is stopping you.  Solex just advised you to wait until a certain time in the future. Your profile picture is your responsibility.   The reason that your ban appeal was denied wasn't solely that you called an admin autistic.  It's because you failed to explain your side of the story (the story of why you were banned, not about your nickname) and apologize when you had the opportunity (your ban appeal).   If you initially weren't sure why you were banned you could have either stated that in your ban appeal or asked an admin either via PM or on TS. Sending personal messages to staff and using the report function of the forum explaining your side of the story will not get you unbanned.  That's what we have ban appeals for.  You can fully explain your side of the story there. Keep in mind that the only way to get unbanned is to file a ban appeal.  Sending private messages to staff and using the report function of the forum will not get you unbanned. If you have any more questions regarding anything feel free to ask them.

Squad Server - now available at an AhoyWorld near you!
 
Hello everyone!
 
As of today, 16 February 2018, we have opened up a public Squad server.
 
For those who don’t know the game, Squad is a teamwork-focused tactical shooter in the same vein as Insurgency and Arma. Logistics, manoeuvre warfare and combined arms all play a part here.
 
In accordance with this, we want to foster a similar environment to our very own AW Enhanced: serious, fun gameplay encouraging camaraderie above all.
 
The server is available 24/7 and those that are interested are able to apply to become a moderator here.
 
We will look into which game modes we want to establish, but rest assured that community events are without a doubt going to be a thing to mix it up and keep it interesting.

AhoyWorld's first Squad Night test this weekend! (24/02/18)
 
Game: Squad
Server Name: [ENG] EU1 AhoyWorld.net
Map: Chora
Gamemode: Insurgency
 
Johnson and Mini will be hosting a Squad Night this weekend on Saturday, 24 February, at 16:00 UTC to test how well certain gamemodes and play-styles work out.
 
The event will take place on the map of Chora; a small, Middle-Eastern basin located in the bottleneck of an Afghan mountain range.
 
The gamemode will be Insurgency: The Insurgent team will be tasked with protecting five ammo caches that are randomly spawned around the map, while the US Army team must find and destroy these objectives using the Squad Leader's incendiary grenade!
 
However, there will be some custom limitations to this gamemode during this event. This is to ensure that the core gameplay mechanics of the mode are tested:
 
The Insurgent team must super-FOB around a singular, self-selected cache.
The Insurgent Squad Leader then must tell the US Army team where their cache is once they are ready to defend it (the US Army team must not leave base until they receive this information).
The US Army team can only attack this single cache once told where it is and cannot hunt for more.
Should we have enough time and if the US Army manages to destroy this cache, the US Army must return to base and the process will repeat.
Should the US Army run out of tickets before a singular cache is destroyed, the Insurgents win.
 
Your hosts are hoping for about eighteen players in order to fill two squads, one for each team, so join in and help them out!

This behaviour is not tolerated and always will have a repercussion.
 
The Rules of Ahoyworld are very clear.
1.1.3. Racism or hate speech of any kind is not tolerated.
The remark you made was not visible outside of your group, but it was still made.
 
The ban you received will not be lifted but reduced. 
The next offense will be a permanent one.
 
Ban reduced to two months.

After testing Vcom on our Public servers, Vcom is going to be removed.
 
It has been removed due to causing mission breaking issues and heavily impacting server performance and frames.

Well,good morning.
I´d like to adress some of the above too.
As i m playing 90% of my time as dedicated AT using a Prowler (loaded with AT,AA and explosives to be prepared for 99% of things that be imginable) and having to mostly travel via a fair part of the map to reach any of my destinations its a slap in the face coming to a AO/side/priority mission facing it being blown up in minutes by some overcompetent selflasing UAVop that sits in base without any fear of being harmed at all + operating a (respawning) arsenal of 2 Greyhawks and 1 Sentinel (6x GBU) by stock that are capable of being anywhere on the map in minutes ... is kind of meh.
I might got slighty offtopic here.
Another thing is UAVop focus on bombing shit and totally forget about the recon aspect of the job.
1 out of 10 slot users do mark the map with detected recon - altho giving info about the current situation of AO is vital to minimize casulties to ground and air forces.
 
 
 
Even i can erase a whole AO easily with my loadout - it s kind of pointless to the motivation for the boots on the ground that are prepared for fighting armor and it erases a big part of the challenge for the "team" to complete the goal.
Hence i limited myself to kill armor only (ZSU > BTR > T100) and disable the MRAPs near LZs if i see fit on AO´s.
Leave some challenge for ground forces,the time it takes for a competent setup team (Pilots,UAV,AT teams,inf units) to erase the armor presence is about 2-8min after AO spawned at best.
And its a public server,dont forget that.
Not all people will have the knowledge or will to cooperate as a team in the first place.
 
 
 
A UAVop shouldnt even work on side missions for the start of it.
Your job is intel and GBU support "on request" imo.
I m aware we got people playing EU1# that use UAVop and a Hunter to complete side´s up close,but that s a rare case.
And how many times i got a UAVop flying a Sentinel in 60m height over sides doing maneuvers to show off and drop GBUs as they see fit ruining the mission in the process.

the UAVop is a highly biased and OP slot in the first place and it ll be impossible to balance it right for all

Ingame you were questioned by one of the administrators on your behaviour, you did not respond but chose to disconnected from the server. 
You were observed by a Spartan, he saw you trying to teamkill a helicopter.
 
In the past you also have been asked to clarify your actions but you never responded. You were banned yesterday for three months.
 
The three month ban remains.

Current (side) mission where you have to locate a crate in a urban city setting (area patrols + hidden fighter´s in houses).
Fighting the resistance forces aint that hard but finding the crate currently is a pain in the a** if you either solo or with a bunch of pubs.
Luck is your best partner on this one,too.
 
Back in A2 in the "Insurgency"original there was the option to have killed enemies drop hints in form of a white suitcase that revealed either range of crate area current or highlighted a certain area of the mission setting with different color to make finding the crate quicker.
Propably restrict the option to drop Intel hints to Officers only (similar to the way "Secure Intel" works)
I´d approve having the option to involve the civ´s on this mission for just that task (interact with em > they give Intel on crate location).
This might also stop the fetish of killing civ´s just out of boredom and depression of not finding the crate in acceptable time.
 
I´m quite sure this requires a update/enhanced scripting to the current existing (side) mission but i m also sure that this way will be more attracting than current.
