Moved bases. Removed 2 of 5 Ghosthawks, replaced with 1 Huron + 1 Littlebird. Added V-44 Vehicle Transport (needs Apex to fly). Added Vehicle Lift Zone. Changed the base boards. Completely changed how Zeus users are handled. Removed ability to spawn Hunters/Prowlers. Added more flares to rotorcraft (still needs tweaking). Added Pilot Respawn Changed loading screen image.

As per authors request (who has no voice here anymore) and my own opinion, me and the author would like the downloads to be removed.

The mission is not a exclusive AW mission. It was mainly made/rewritten by one author (Baconmop). with the help of other community members, but the 90% of the mission has been completely redone by 1 author. In my opinion, the mission was made in "cohesion" with AW, but it does not belong to AW. The community does not have exclusive rights to the mission or a right to publicly release the mission without the consent.
 
The mission was still WIP, there was a big update scheduled for it, yet it was decided to completly remove the author from the team, which heavily obstructed the work and release of the mission. There was also an attempt to remove that author from the loading screen, which was "identified" as a mistake.
 
There is no issue, if you maintain the mission for your personal use or modify it to your personal needs. Publicly releasing the mission in a way, that says the mission is your own and owned by you, is not allowed.
 
 
 

Firstly I do know that my name is still in the credits page in the map diary.
 
I am making this post to ask why my name has been removed from the splash screen of I&A 3, a mission that I wrote from scratch. I have spent months working on the mission only to have my name removed, almost to say that I did not work on it almost entirely alone. To remove the author's name anywhere that the original author put their name is highly unethical.

AhoyWorld Winter Race League ‘16
  This league we're going to be trying a few different things to our previous ones. Firstly the game is different. Secondly, we are now using a sprint and endurance race combo. Do not worry we still plan to keep races to a maximum of one hour per session. So both races will be within that time slot.

    Regulations
  -Two Races per week, one sprint(~10mins 4 laps) and one endurance race. Which will be a reverse grid of the sprint race finish. So leader at the back and last place at the front.(~20mins 8-10 laps)
-Lapped cars must give way to cars on lead lap.
-You are allowed to change cars 1 time during the season.
-All assist are allowed except racing line and auto braking.       
         Rules
  -NO intentional crashing of any kind.
-NO intentional brake checking.
-NO corner cutting.
-Driver in front ALWAYS has the right of way.
-Passing is not permitted off track. Positions must be given back if gained.
-Too many "racing incidents" may result in penalty/disqualification.
-Do not reenter the track in an unsafe manner.
-You must wait until all cars go by before entering the track.

We would suggest more so for Formula C over B.
 
B is very sensitive. Where as C is easy handle.

So this is very out of the blue and mid-season kinda sucks.
However we've a suggestion to fix the current car issue.
We change the season to Formula B cars. As of next weekend. This weekend will be the last of GT3 *Unless you'd rather do it this weekend*
The point board would be null'd to zero once this change takes place. And we will race the rest of the season on the new points. With Dave being the winner of the GT3 section.
All current active season members must vote. The winning vote shall win. Hopefully without any major fall outs.

Today I bring you the first of our Rocket League tournament!

It will be 3vs3 gameplay on normal settings.
 
The format will be knockout with randomly selected teams playing a best of 3 match against another team. 
The winner of the first match will move forward to the next round with the loser moving into playoffs for 3rd place.
(Or so I think.)
This format is not final yet as I need to see how many teams we get signed up to see how the tournament can pan out.
 
I've not date as of yet or time for the tournament however I may set it up to be played over a weekend long, with teams having Friday/Saturday to play there first round games with Sunday being reserved for finals. However this is undecided and we may just fit it into one day if all teams can agree on something.

Voice Radio Procedure

Phonetic Alphabet
When communicating over the radio you must always use the phonetic alphabet.
 


For example, if I wanted Charlie squad to engage grid B1 marked on the map I would say
"Charlie this is Delta 0, you are to push South and engage grid Bravo 1, how copy?".


Key Phrases
Phrases/terms to remember and use.

Roger: Message received and understood.

Over: Transmission finished, reply expected (short for "Over to you").

Out: Transmission finished - no reply expected. For example "Copy that Delta, we will engage the target. Out." Note: only the sender should terminate traffic with “Out”.

Wilco: Your message is understood and we Will Comply (usually combined with Roger: "Roger, Wilco").

Confirm: Indicate whether a message has been understood or that a sent message has been understood correctly. For example:
"Stalker 1, confirm coordinates are 045,091 ?"

How Copy: Ask receiver if message was received and understood correctly. Correct responce would be Solid Copy (if heard and understood correctly) or Bad Copy (if not heard correctly or not understood).

Repeat Last: Ask receiver to repeat last transmission.

Standby for orders: Await further orders, usually shortened to Standby.

Affirmative: Yes (sometimes abbreviated to Affirm).

Negative: No

Zero: The highest rank at a location within a squad/section. For example Delta squad's commander would be "Delta Zero". If I wanted to speak to Delta's commander I would say
"Delta Zero this is Charlie Zero, confirm we are to push South and engage grid Bravo 1?"

Locstat: Location at the current time. Usually when a callsign is moving. e.g. "Send locstat, over".

Sitrep: Situation Report = how you are getting on with an assigned task or the state of your unit.

Redeploy: (Vehicle) Move to a different location. When given with a grid or location, it is effectively a move order.

CAS: Close Air Support. For example "This is Charlie to Stalker 1, requesting CAS on grid 041,048, how copy?"

CasEvac: Casualty Evacuation.

FAC: Forward Air Controller. A designated marine within a section/squad that will act as the middleman for sending traffic between air and ground.


CLAP
When using a radio, remember the mnemonic CLAP:

CLEAR
LOUD
AS an order with 
PAUSES

That is how all of your messages should be spoken. Don't shout or swear. Don't talk when someone else is talking - wait for them to finish, including any response they are expecting. 

All spellings should be spoken using the phonetic alphabet.

All numbers should be spoken as digits (i.e. two one, not twenty one).

All callsigns should be spoken as digits and phonetics.

Do not use the radio for chatting. Use DIRECT for this purpose.

Marines will be issued with a PRC 343 radio for squad-to-squad communication. Section Commanders, Fireteam Leaders and Forward Air Controllers will be issued with a PRC 117/119 long range radio.

Contrary to popular belief by many in this community the administration team have yet to master telepathy, if we aren't there in person to witness rule breaking we will not know about it, it is as simple as that.
