Favourite Class on EU1/2

So didn't find a topic like this, so either it's very old or my search terms sucked, but regardless do you have a favorite class to play on EU1/2?

Is there a go to class for you, one you scroll through the list to find ASAP? Do you actually care about the class you have chosen or are they all the same to you? Are there classes you avoid like the plague?

Personally I always choose medic, just get a lot of value out of playing as a role that can actually revive people on the battle field, and hopefully postpone that long chopper ride back to the AO.

Beyond that, AT, as I hate being faced with a tank and having to hide behind a rock for however long until someone shows up who can deal with it.

After that, don't really mind but often pick squad leader as no one else does and at least it keeps the specific slots open for others, this is the class where I don't really stick to playing the role, as no one cares to listen.

I avoid the pilot slot, I can fly, but nowhere near as good as others, best to leave it to the talented.

In the beginning i was into flying alot, but it became a bit boring and sometimes frustrating.

Theres not a role i dont like, learned to play all roles by trial and error.

Most played lately:

-FSG gunner/Spotter

-Medic

-EOD specialist

-Machinegunner

-UAV operator

I can adjust and change role when needed. I like to play in little squads with a max of 3 to 4 players. Ive been a medic once with the scar and we didnt die one time in hours and hours of playing.

I cannot recall it in particular, the story i recall playing with you mostly involve painfull deaths, being sniped out of the car and the occasional mortart barrage.

None of the less, always tense when go on a mission!

I prefer flying above all else, because it's what I'm best at.

If a pilot slot is not available or not necessary, I'll pick more stealth-oriented roles like sniper, spotter or JTAC. I've also had a go at UAV Operator, but still having a lot of trouble with delivering GBU's on target, so mainly using it to scout and provide intel for now.

Flying used to be my #1, but i change it up all the time, right now I'm craving auto rifleman because i feel like i want to spray some CSAT down with infinite bullets feeling like Rambo.

I prefer sniper spotter, love playing that role, but went on last night and none of my loadouts work, can't find a changelog for servers 1 & 2 but I'm very very upset now that I can't play my fav role :(

I think the harder thing for a spotter is to find a sniper to spot for, most go solo.

Latest changelog can be found here

Is it really that hard to create a new kit?

True, a kit probbaly takes 5-10 mins to get perfect.

For some weird reason the sniper spots are always taken. Literally, always.

On a different note:

Favourite class is medic > autorifle > marksman !

Because unfortunately I&A, at least on Altis, is about popping infantry from as far away as possible, or so it would seem if you watch most the server.

Hence snipers, spotters and marksmen are often the first class to get filled across all squads as they have access to the Cyrus and Mar 10, or the Lynx/M320 which are all pretty much 1 hit kills.

When I play...
Marksman = kill a lot of infantry and die to an APC (or friendly fire >_<)
Medic = everyone loves me but I get bored
Engineer = driving a fuel truck and rescuing downed choppers and vehicles...or in a tank...

But the favorite...
AT specialist... Because that with an offroad, some decent driving skills (or a super nice towing pilot), some patience, and millions of dollars in titan missiles, you too can be a lone wolf and climb the leader boards...until the CAS jet outsmarts you that is...

I am probably blind but where is that changelog you speak of in the link provided?

I love to cooperate and interact with other people (why else I would be playing MP coop?). My role preference depends on who is on the server.

If there is FSG gunner waiting for targets I will try to get in UAV slot to provide him some accurate intel and call in mortar strikes on groups of enemy infantry, while occasionally drop GBUs on MBTs and designated targets from infantry.

If there is squad leader (where are you Crater?) I like to occupy a medic slot to give my group chance to survive longer.

The pilot slot is my favourite. I feel I can be most useful for a team in that role. I prefer to fly Huron and have a good amount of experience flying Kajman, Blackfoot and armed Blackfish in TvT environment.

Click any of the 'list' boxes (public content-list, enhanced content-list, 124th contetn-list) and there will be a big red box saying "show changelog"; click and there ya go.

Ah well, thats not really the fault of I&A its just the map itself I think. Usually there is just a lot of open space between the LZs and AOs and running with my good old trusted Zafir towards a hostile squad is usually a horrible idea.

I think the only difference between snipers and spotters is that snipers are able to use the sniper scopes, no? Yet nobody is playing spotter but everyone is playing sniper. Mysterious.
