Hi there guys, we have been having some fun in Rust of late so we decided to open a server, with permission from David we would like to invite the members of Ahoyworld onto this server for some tetanus fuelled action. 
 

The server is not officially affiliated with Ahoy World, we advertise with permission.
 
The server is fully PVP and open to the public, meaning that the sooner you get on, the more of a chance you stand of surviving the murderous, base-raiding Rust community. With few rules anything goes so ready up to go against naked rock wielding, foul mouthed (Moon) psychopaths and over geared, stone cold raiders. Try and survive alone, or hop on the Ahoy teamspeak to look for your very own battle buddy.

As I previously said there was a miscommunication when we were applying the ban, we intended to talk to them first. As for the server name, that was clearly linked without a doubt with the other community, punching an acronym into google isn't going to find it but I'm not going to post it here for obvious reasons. We are currently working through the ban appeal in private because unfortunately some people are unable to act like adults.

But my poor old legs though have only just recovered from being shot so much at close range in the last few rounds,
 I couldn't walk up or down stairs all week from all the bruising on my thighs which has only just this morning subsided and I can walk normally 
 
 
 
 
 
 

Ahoyworld needs players to carry on operating and allowing people to enjoy the servers, if Google lost a bunch of users to Bing do you think they would be particularly happy?

Okay you're making it sound like everyone got banned? The number was originally 3, then people came on ts and started trolling and make spam forum accounts, then another one or two got banned I believe. Not everyone, no one is blaming there whole community?

The server IP they linked was named after this other community, all be it I was told last night it was a last minute oversight.

Actually yes, there was a miscommunication over the teamspeak bans as we had planned to talk to them before dropping the hammer and it was me who was out the loop on that. The actions from them in the aftermath have been rash and obstructive, we clearly explained why we did what we did, everyone is welcome to start their own community and play in both communities, it causes a problem if you link directly to the other one covertly, that is foul play and those who got banned shouldn't be upset that they got caught out, calling us hitlers for actually enforcing our rules is just childish. We haven't banned anyone who is innocent. I asked them if it would be okay to do the same thing and link to 77th JSOC (for an example, we have no beef with them) and they refused to answer so that just leaves me to believe that they thought because it was a small community we would let them advertise. 
 
@SirMurficus this is certainly what we strive for but in a community of this size we can only get so far and we can't please everyone unfortunately, but we try. It is unfortunate but cliques develop and they split, it happens to all communities and if their community is successful it will happen to them too and they'll be unjustly called hitlers, it is how it works unfortunately. 

This topic appears to have derailed, I'd suggest you use it to discuss the situation, not ban appeal procedure that has been in place for ever.

Join us on Sunday the 24th at 17:00 GMT for an all new CQB Event, playing various game modes throughout you and up to 59 others will battle it out in a super intensive CQB environment. We'll play several game modes throughout the evening and you will really be put to the test!
 
Special notes:
 
- No grenades however smokes are available. Do not throw them over walls, only through doorways or corridors. If you see another player abusing this report them after the event.
- No camping the opposing teams base, you will be killed if you do. Do not pass the white lines at bases.
- Stay inside the play area at all times.
- If you have a problem with another player report it to an admin after the game, teamkilling will happen although you should avoid it. We advise to set up Shadowplay or Raptr.
- Both sides of the arena are mirror images.
- You can heal at the medical containers located by the containers. Both teams can use both containers.
- Respawns are set at 1 minute, there is no option to revive.
- No mods are required.
- Attempting to glitch through walls or exploit the game will have you removed.
- All standard Ahoy rules apply when on server.
- There are five civilian slots, one Marshal, one Recording, three admin slots.
- The Marshal is the person who decides when certain game parameters are met or a game is complete.

Just saying but when on earth did we get 80 people that play EU3.
At least half of them vote must be from eu1/eu2 people that most likely never touched EU3.
