Hello and howdy, whichever you prefer.

Questions, questions.... Can I have your credit card details?

Currently yes, and snipers are restricted to the only 2 sniper rifles available.  And pilots only have access to SMGs.

Making people play together is not really what the public vanilla servers are about.
If people want to lone wolf they can, restricting the tools stops those lone wolves ruining the fun or doing too much damage.

Laser guided bombs such as the GBU-12 no longer require a lock prior to drop. With Tanks DLC we now have LOAL (Lock-On After Launch) functionality, and the bomb will guide itself to any valid laser in its vicinity. The pilot simply has to drop the bomb into an area around the intended target. This also allows for the bomb to be dropped before the laser is on.

While I don't have the specifics in front of me, I believe some roles had bipods removed in an effort to combat the extreme prevalence of hill camping.
It's still very much possible to weapon rest, that feature doesn't require a bipod.

The Nightstalker optic was removed years ago, in large part because it was a primary factor in accidental teamkilling.
Until recently, I&A was locked to a specific date, but it now takes its date setting from real life. This means it's currently playing in the cold season, which leads to thermal optics being less effective. This will change back to "normal" as we approach summer.

No, you can't buy a thermal camera that is as good as what you see in ArmA 3.

The Apex DLC ENVGs have never been enabled on Ahoyworld servers. See above comment on thermal optics leading to TKs.

No, you can't buy thermal goggles that are as good as what you see in ArmA 3.

No, without mods or heavy scripting it is not possible to change the loadout of an existing asset on a live server.

AFAIK, with Tanks update, Titan Compact is no longer able to lock on a laser paint.

If you say "pls" because it's shorter than "please", I will say "no" because it's shorter than "yes."

In all seriousness, feedback is good, but you need to work on your approach here.

This reads like you were in a fit of rage while typing it up, and that's rather counterproductive to what you're trying to achieve.

I invite you to rephrase this post, as in its current form it leaves a poor impression and probably doesn't reflect your intent.

I mean no disrespect in saying that.

"C:\Users\YOU\Documents\Arma 3 - Other Profiles" stores your user profile(s). Each subfolder contains "NAME.Arma3Profile" which stores things such as your key bindings. I recommend backing up the entire profile (= every subfolder of "Arma 3 - Other Profiles") or just the entire folder because it also stores your Editor scenarios, your singleplayer save files and some more stuff.

Your graphics settings and some other things that shouldn't be tampered with are in "C:\Users\YOU\Documents\Arma 3\Arma3.cfg", just in case you want to have the full backup package.

Actually I managed to get my profile back. Apparently there is a way to reload it if you have a backup which I did. Phew!

Just report them then move on, TKs happen, some purposeful others accidental.

I've been on the receiving end many,  many times, and if it is serious I report it, if not I give a friendly yet stern "be careful in future" warning.

You are better off constructing a role in the AW server arsenal, than the vanilla one in the main menu; on an I&A server  it will not allow you to choose restricted items (however vanilla will, but then wont let you load them up).

I would also say if you are going to do this, pick EU2 to do it on, as it is quieter and people wont be hankering for a slot that is being used for your arsenal admin.

I did a video showing my opinion of a few loadouts/roles, if you want to check them out.

So this is the first single player game that has had me hooked since.... erm can't remember. Beautiful, scary, and a lot of fun.

Though it'd be a good place to put my playthrough vids and anyone elses if they are enjoying this gem of a game.

Found some time this morning, jumped on some random American server and managed to have a lot of fun even though my ping was somewhere closer to 200.

Got into the medic slot, had a great SL that was calm, level headed and had a clear picture of what was going on. I managed to save and help a lot of team mates and even got myself a few kills.

It's quite some time since I've experienced a rush like this!

Honestly never played it, mainly as I just havent had tiome to invest. I looks amazing, but single player is hard as a parent of young 'uns. You just can't invest the time, hence drop in drop out such as I&A public is ideal for me.

Never ever finished GTA V either, got about 25% of the way in and just left it; GTA online was easier to leave and jump back in.

Yeah, Subnautica should definitely be experienced without any outside help for the first playthrough at least.

The experience of exploring the world is a major factor in what makes the game superb. Any assistance detracts from that.
