Yeah Vegas has no issues with multiple tracks. Not used Adobe for editing personally, so cannot help there.

Yep if you can only ever claim one vehicle at a time, and there is a timer when you are not inside it, could work.

"Altis has fallen to the CSAT forces, and it is up to you to take it back. Embark with your teammates on a persistent campaign that will span several weeks of real time to liberate all major cities of the island."
     - GREUH Liberation

I'd like to see AhoyWorld host this as a weekly event, with minimal if any mods, but with a command structure closer to AWE.

Liberation essentially boils down to a teamwork-oriented PvE mission to slowly but surely conquer the major cities of Altis. Along the way, smaller points are contested for resource points and equipment unlocks.
It has currently been ported onto a great many maps, and as such it could feasibly be run on other maps after the completion of Altis, provided it attains the playerbase to make it worthwhile.

Liberation involves building defensible bases, attacking varying levels of enemy occupied strongholds and protecting captured areas from counter-attack, all the while capturing resources used to requisition vehicles.
The single Commander slot is essential, as he controls individual player permissions, default permissions for newly connected players and has the option of using a de-clawed Zeus interface to control friendly AI units should he deem this necessary.
Player permissions revolve around rights, essentially being the ability to operate Armor or Air vehicles, as well as the Buy and Build menus.

The event could be run weekly, with a trustworthy AhoyWorld representative taking the reins as Commander.
Players could join as an existing group of friends, or as single individuals. Singles would be grouped up together in any number of groups.
Groups could communicate via Group Channel or a TeamSpeak channel.
Commander could communicate with Groups via Command Channel or TeamSpeak Whisper. If necessary, could also relay faction-wide messages via Side Channel.

Microphone would preferably be a requirement for all players, and groups would be expected to work toward the task given by Command, but have autonomy on that task.

Liberation comes pre-packaged with a system to save the map state between sessions, and defaults to automatic saves every 60 seconds. As such, progress would be relatively safe from crashes.
Liberation is run by many servers, but almost exclusively constantly up, meaning mostly without a Commander present. This tells me that there is interest, but that it could be done in a more organized manner that may attract players.

Dont get me wrong, the sound is very rich with the Yet, bit it is very sensitive and picks up everything, even in cardoid setting.

Also it weights a tonne, and needs a very specific shockmount that is both expensive, huge, and broke on me due to the weight of the mic it is designed to hold.

It picks up more from the top of the mic, less from the sides than say the Blue Yeti which I used to use. Point it at your mouth and get it close and you are good to go, move away and you lose a lot of the sounds, which for gameplay vids is ideal.

The Yeti made you talk into the side of the mic, but still picked up a lot of exterior noise; hence I gave it up, it just recorded everything (good sounds quality though)

Still remember when I revived a bunch of guys and they went, "how did U revive me?! U ain't medic!" From then on, the few guys would bring downed players to my Medical HEMMT and I would have to put 'MED HEMTT' in bright green flag marker.

There is a pretty hefty timer before you die when downed so stabilising isn't really necessary. I think most use their medkits wondering if it will revive them (even I did as the option surprised me), and then realsie they just wasted a FAK. They just need to remove the option to use a FAK on a downed player if not a medic to remove that confusion.

Oh.. U clearly haven't seen me clearing Priority Targets and Side Missions while on HEMTT Medical on I&A 3.0 and 2.85 respectively. That is why @GamerbugUK deem it can be OP.

I like Ur post. Taru is currently available once we unlock FOB Guardian but lifting of HEMTT would require lifting script.

HEMTT's top speed is 82 km/h and Medical is third choice compared to Ammo and Repair variants. The least used vehicles compared to Hunter and Prowler.

It all boils down to how a player appreciates the attributes of a vehicle to unleash its potential.

I have tried that. The results were less than satisfactory.

But AW is all about adapting and I have no qualms if this idea is deemed redundant. Just trying my like, that is all...

Good lord no! We need to be able to revive regardless of damage taken, but we should need to have a FAK and Medikit for that (yep ages ago I wanted revive with FAK only, but I think that's OP.)

I know you love your medical HEMMT, but you are actually having your cake and eating it by saying you want to be able to be an AT and a medic. Pick one or the other, I know I want a marksman rifle for my Medic (love that Spar 17), but that's being greedy and I don't see that being allowed.

Besides you can be a medic and take the RPG-42, or RPG 7.

    @razgriz33

I have come across several specific bugs that others may have mentioned:

    1. In some instances, there is no available option to revive, drag, carry etc. This could be a texture glitch but the medical revive "symbol" is above there body where is should be.

    2. Insta-death is something that I strongly disagree. I understand that in most cases you do down and any damage after that kills you, but when you and your squad accidentally runs into a tigris and as the medic see your screen fill up with red revive symbols and then have the explosive rounds finish off your teammates can be very frustrating. A "fix" of this would be to be invincible after death and have two options available, one to call for a medic, this would increase your star of life symbol. (Similar to pinging a zeus, your player icon increases in size and then gradually shrinks) The second button would be a "give up" button where you just respawn.

    3. When dragging a teammate and you are killed, your teammate is stuck in the drag position, unable to be revived for "re-dragged".

That's all the major bugs and a suggestion!

I feel your pain, I used to be primarily a medic, though my gripe came from the change/nerf to the revive system where a lot more instakills happened.

You'll find there are a lot of people who don't know they even can be rievived and automatically hit respawn. Others see no medic is close by and respawn, some will see a medic 300m away and then see that distance meter not move at all, or start counting upwards and realise they are not getting revived, which can make them jaded.

The removal of being able to call for a medic when down has also meant people have no way of knowing if that medic even knows they are down.

    So to help you can..
tell the downed soldier you are on your way. always try to make some effort to head towards a downed soldier so they see the distance closing and feel you are trying to get there. keep them updated, let them know you've stalled due to a tonk or something. Unfortunately if you go down on the way to help, you wont then be able to update them you're incapacitated (see below) AW hopefully can...
Re add chat when down (consider it the injured guy radioing for help). remove instakills even from tanks etc (no its not realistic but its more fun). If people know they dont die instantly it will catch on to hang around for a medic add clearer markers for downed soldiers (currently purple same as unidentified AI).

I am also a conscript combat medic.

Combat Life Saver used to be one of my classes in my early days in AW. The old revive system was the best. Now, it's gone... It's gone... The advanced damage system is too much to comprehend for public players and revive bug still haunts us. We need to get the Norris revive system back which is has been working until now. People get tired when I keep telling them I want my revivable Medical HEMTT back so that I can be an AT-Medic on wheels.

All I've heard is that it is time consuming, stupidly difficult due to ninja AI diver vision, and somewhat buggy.

Also it spawns miles out at sea and makes it undesirable to bother with.

I'd say remove it (unless once the Jets DLC lands we can have the carrier as a persistent FOB with boats and the mission always spawns within say 200m of the carrier.)

Yeah there is also the bug where you can't revive a downed person occasionally, the option just doesn't show up.

Medic slots are desirable, probably goes sniper->marksman->medic->AT (ignoring pilot as it's a non combat role), but that doesn't mean others desire their help, just that people want to be them; which is Doc's concern.

Some also choose medic as they can heal themselves to full health without worrying about depleting FAKs (though youd need to carry 10 Faks to weigh as much as one medkit). Making them a self healing infantryman.

I don't think you should penalise people for respawning, would just annoy on a public server.
