USMC Force recon marines are conducting COIN supported by ANA forces in the region of Lythium situated near the Pakistani and Iraqi border.
Local insurection from the Taliban are high and have requested support and mentoring from the US forces. Our detachment is small and is best
suited for small kinetic operations but can be expanded upon by requesting support from nearby local and Nato forces.
Our toolset also includes the ability to search and dismantle IEDs,VBIEDs and other small EOD tasks. Our focus should be with interacting with the locals to ensure good standings with US and Afghani forces.
 
ROE is to not fire unless fired upon as the areas that are outside city centers and the greenzone may have civilans that carry guns for self defence or is used for hunting.

You realise that EU1# is the horse that carrys AW and it has always been.
Stop talking BS about things you only see from your perspective.
There s a shitload of people that come for AW and the spirit it offers,have some unrestricted fun,talk some shit,do some shit,win some shit.etc on EU1#.
I can name at least 40 names of regular,dedicated people that play EU1# as their first adress.
They team up quite frequently in the same groups,doing the same stuff together and having fun together.
Thats the whole secret behind it ... fun with comon minded people.
 
If AWE,Enhanced or (like us old guys refer to it) EU3# had 50% of those like minded people we wouldnt have this conversation here.
All i see is talk from you people.
First,you never gonna get everyone 100% happy - face it.
Second,you gotta start somewhere.Talk isnt gonna help,progression comes with time played,so just start somewhere and take it from there - just grow a comon direction and follow it together.
Every day EU3# isnt up is another day you loose people looking for a modded,enhanced experience of Arma 3 they yet have one option less to choose from.
The secret is in numbers playing - find 1 or  better 2 days you can get 10-15 people together to seed the server and advertise them both on EU1# and AW facebook so people get the awareness.
For sure,this wont be a change done in a week to get the server at least 50% full,but with every gamer possible knowing about this the situation will improve.
Dont talk,just do it.

The server is currently down and in for a reboot when I&A4 comes out of beta. Quite a lot of us waiting for it.

Currently AWE isn't active, so you'll need to wait untill the reboot for any detailed information.
How many players? I'm hoping many, but that will be seen once the server is back.
Set up fortifications in the field - Yes, that is possible
Maps - The exact maps are yet to be decided, but we're steering clear of any that require CUP
When - AWE is coming back after I&A4 comes out of beta. I do not know the exact date.

This makes you realise you miss AWE quite a lot.

Hello to everyone..
 
My idea is  Vortex team must be using Ts3 or Discord for more discipline, i can understand some people don't have mic but they can type its not that hard.. 
 
Why they should?
Because some pilots i can say %80 of them just loving flying not lifting people. for example everyday i can see 1 pilot fly with jet when there is not aa treath on ao and after he crash and when there is aa threat our pilots can't find jet to hunt it. coz 1 pilot just waste it for his enjoy... mostly time i can see 5 pilot slots are full and just yesterday i wait in base 26 min for lift when there was 5 pilot coz 1 pilot was with pawnee flying around 1 was with jet 1 was carrying supply for other and other afk in chopper all this can be fixed by ts3 and discord i believe.. i hope you can take my idea serious thank you..

this server as far as I'm concerned is a total waste of time no guide which soever nobody tells you what to do everybody is just running around like idiots

Don't mean to be the bearer of bad news but I think AWE is ready to be put in the ground.
 
If you want some good modded ArmA III, consider the MSO.

Lemme start this off by a huge thank you, not only to the owners/ many close friends i have but to the community as a whole. I joined this community around august 2015 and I dont know where I would be without having been apart of this community. This community was more then a community to me, it was a place I could call my family where I was almost always welcome when I join the teamspeak, I miss bragging to my friends about the great community I was in and I still do that to this day. I remember the first day I joined this server, funny enough Lamasioux invited me.. if you know you know.. I instantly fell in love with the community and played for about 6 hours on the first day. The next day I joined in our my very first gamenight on fallujah, and i honestly dont think I will ever forget that moment. After the gamenight I realized this server was special and I wanted to be apart of it; A few weeks later I recived Field Ambassador I was ecstatic. A few months later Razgriz pulled me into a channel and asked if I would like to become a EU3 moderator, Words could not describe that feeling that all my hard work and dedication was noticed thanks raz BTW. I was a Eu3 mod for about 7 or 8 months before I burned myself out of arma, I put 700 hours in about 10 months which in my opinion is insane. I can also remember getting home from school and literally running to my computer to play with everyone 
 
I've made a couple return post and unfortunately I've tried a couple times to come back to the place I used to call home and I just cant commit.. And it makes me mad because I really do wana join back but I dont think I can..
 
Honestly this makes me love the Ahoyworld community even more. Many of those of us who have been apart of this community, and those who have moved on, can all admit- this place we call home played a big part in our gaming lives, if not our lives in general. We met some good friends, shared some epic moments, and had fun doing it. Cheers to the good old times, and to the ones ahead.. Again I cant imagine I would be without this community today, sometimes I wish the old days were back and I was still apart of this community.
I may pop into the teamspeak every now and then but I think my name popping up is more irrelevent then ever. I dont have the friendships/prescense in this community as I used to. If you ever want to talk lemme know via steam (https://steamcommunity.com/id/iamdespite2k/) Maybe i will even pop in sometime and play ArmA. Again Thanks to the memories and oppurtunites this server has presented me with, I cant stress how much im thankful for finding this place.
