  4. Eu#3 Training Hello everyone and welcome to the weekly AW Eu#3 Training session. Below you will find when it starts, how we would like you to behave during said session. Session start: 1600 GMT 26. July This session will contain following training blocks: (Note these can be expanded upon if users\us deem we have time for it, tho we are aiming to keep the sessions to around 30-45minutes long to not hog up all the playtime on Eu#3) Block 1: Static training for formation training,explaining how to effectively transition between them Block 2: Move by foot to one of the manoeuvring fields,making the squad leads call different formations while we are moving. Block 3: Bounding towards an enemy position in chosen maneuvering field. explain why this is optimal. Squads take turns doing it one squad at a time. At Least 2/3 runs of this. Block 4: Company level bounding. Block 5: Any session related questions (10 minutes). I would like to ask of you to keep the chatter to a minimum while we explain stuff and ask us questions between sub-task i.e bounding session->question(s)->bounding session as this would make the session less time consuming. I also ask that you listen and follow commands orders. Any dicking around will be taking seriously and admin implications may apply for any attempt to ruin or misbehave. If you don't have the patience to wait for missions to be planned and to play the game style of the game nights please do NOT turn up. Gamenights are just not for you.   13. This was resolved yesterday, he was going to test a mod with a friend and isntead of pming he accidently put it in global on TS. We talked to him yesterday and the issue was resolved he wasnt recruiting.

  15. As for the squads/signups its easy to just another squad. as for any bugging out it shouldnt happen as you are not in anyway going to control the plane or when you get booted out of it

Details about the mission will be below The meet up time will be as follows: Saturday - 15:30 GMT Mission start Brief: You are a platoon composed of 2x6man teams with command as a separate entity. A C130 will drop you off in the mountains of CLAfghan and from there you will make your way down to a nearby town to secure transport. HUMINT suggests there enemy prescence along the riverbed spanning E to W with additional roaming patrols scattered across the AO. When transport has been secured you will make your way to the small compound marked on the map and take out a russian officer then extract as you see fit. You will not be allowed to JIP once the mission briefing is over.. I'm only doing this to make sure the gameplay is fun and enjoyable for everyone!   19. This is probably a question you yourself might have asked in the last 3-4 weeks and ill try to adress that in this post. Dev work is not dead, I just had to take a breather as constantly working on one thing makes you grov sick after a while so I spent more time making my car ready for the summer and putting in more effort at work in regards to overtime etc. Current state of Gauntlet is that im waiting for 3.0.0 of ace tho there is one build using a grabbed github version tho im not too keen on putting that up as it might bring alot of broken gameplay mechanics. Also i need to get some of the functions from the mod to rewrite some of the missions that were dependent on some AGM functionality. Else ive started revamping the base looks to look like a more permanent base(some changes where put in with .19) All in all you guys should know that the development is not dead, just put on a slight hold until ACE3 comes out =) Regards Kenny, lead coder of Gauntlet

  22. Following the update today of A3(Marksman DLC) RHS and AGM might break, this may or not be fixed in a hotfix by the devs of RHS. AGM on the other hand is stopped being developed since ACE3 is coming and the devs have joined it, so if it breaks when the update hits the a3 community is dependent on a other user to hotfix it. Just wanted to let you know in advance(Altogh kinda close to the update relase) so that any down time while we shift mods\take away stuff so eu#3 can function, is not unexpected.
  23. phone-reply: Thos escalated quite quickly, some of the suggedtions here are good and some aim for milsim, we at ahoyworld have never been a 100% milsim "Sir,how high do you want me to jump,Sir?!" We aim for that inbetween Taliban Rabble Rush-> super special delta six team 1000% authentic tactical beard gameplay. The core of my suggestiion for training was that individual players,new and old, could train their individual skills in group so that when we do gamenights/join on eu#3 in weekdays expect a modicum of cohesion in movement of squads, radio protocol etc. So that of xx user where to invite a friend/eu#1/2 they would say oh this/that looks/sounds cool. Then we return to that point of inbetween TRR and MILSIM, its for users to get accustomed to move in a somewhat coherent movement and get users accustomed the diffent aspects of eu#3. All of this is still not completely fleshed out and set into motion, i myself will wait until next repo update/Marksman DLC before we move on with the planning.
