  1. Well bye I guess ? Cant count on two hand how many GN's was cancelled cause I fucked up in the start. The rule was proposed and set in stone by the whole moderating team and approved by me to prevent broken gamenights to happen to frequently. Its not to be cruel or anything its for the whole of the community, dont know how many times a GN has been delayed cause i fucked up something or not testing a script on a proper dedi(MP Paradrop yaaay...). I don't know what you mean by staff cruelty, that you can PM me about and I can hear your story and "my" staffs story. And finally, whats this about me not sharing ? You never asked me about mission design and if you have asked and i have had time i would have helped you out. You don't go sucker punching me like that,ever for something that has not happened! You could have asked Ryko to on input about it. But hey lets slag off the one who has had so much RL work this two weeks that he couldn't be online much to be a unhelpful bastard when you haven't asked him a damn thing.

  3. Foreword So I wanted to get a playstyle i miss from my A2 days rolling again if there is a will and interest in it in the eu3 section. It would be on a diffrent server with a altered modset i.e : ACE3,ACRE,ALiVE(need this for MSO functionality), CUP Terrains, Leights Opfor pack and finally the RHS Mods. This is to make things uniform and easier to make diffrent MSO missions for as the assets can stay the same. Playstyle/Setup In terms of action on these kind of sessions would be in the start mostly boring as with all operations you would need to setup FOBs and such in the start and supply them on the other hand while doing preliminary tests I found that sometimes the AI would push quite a bit down from their start points downwards on the maps. I have set the mission up on takistan but I kinda feel the map is small so I might look into CLafghan because of the distances and more varied(read hills) terrain.I need to checkup on how the AI\CIV pop functions on it before deciding. Loadouts would be forced, there is no arsenal. But when the FOBs and supply points are setup we can start doing patrols and dealing with the insurgent forces, the way we do that is to observe the locals and talk to the locals for information regarding forces and installations they might have setup(IED factories,roadblocks,recruitment HQs etc.) Squads\Signup Forces would be setup almost the same as Gauntlet with a few additions/alterations: PLTCO [CMD] Alpha Bravo Charlie FSG <- All heavy weapons and JTAC is now attached to them as FSG is in the operations but not to close(read support fire) LOGI <- In charge of all resupply and FOB constructions supplies, would need a quick brief from me cause (bless arma) you need to alternate between the ACE menu and ALiVE's menu to load and the move construction materials. AIR <- Predominantly for recon and occasional support if shit hits the fan. Planning and execution If the leader slots fill before we hit the weekend 27th-29th May, ill hold a ts meeting for the leaders of the teams where we will sketch out a rough plan for the first stage of the mission i.e : Setting up\moving supplies and assets to the FOB before the hotzone. You can banter all you like when on patrol as long as no one has any objections to it. Yes this might sound like milsim, deal with it. All in all rules and such would be gamenight rules etc. Server would be running alives war room extension so that the people who would like to can view the After Action Reports etc. Afterwords This is something I personally miss and would like to make possible again and I hope atleast some of you like the idea of a more "slow" based gameplay instead of having a set objective.   5. So a bit of an update on this: My old pump\reservoir combo is slowly dying(impeller is borked) so I am getting low pressure in the loop so that will get changed in the near future. Aaand I am contemplating on getting 2xGTX1080's to have frames in pretty much anything that comes in the next few years..

So since arma had the .58 update and I havent had the time between work and doing the Frontpage\Forum upgrade I will hold a final test of PTC-2 just to check that everything is working, ive implemented the loadouts crudely atm with pre-init support so youll have the stock loadout before you even see the game(hopefully). There will be no signup, fill what we need out of how many show up,regular gamenight rules apply and for the love of god dont whine like a ***** if the arsenal isn't working\not on cause this is a test of the game\mission spawning and feel, not how good you look when getting shot. -Chris

  10. Thought I could mash togheter a 2 part attack\defend on x map and have stock RHSunits as playable's and then just have fun if that's something you would see as fun?
  11. We successfully upgraded to IPS4 and moved webhost, it should now be much more stable after the background conversion finishes! Do mind that the front-end part is still WIP and the forums are not 100% where we want them to be at the moment concerning features etc. but it is safe to start posting again!
  12. There is no such animation on the content side of the new content page or the upgraded forums.   14. The units composistion are : Teamleader,rifleman,rifleman,rifleman. Where as one rifleman has a explosives bag.
  15. So did a bit of a different style of mission this time, its centered around planning\situation awareness and is aimed at 32 players + zeus. Zeus isnt going to add anything other that delivering us to the objective as how the mission is currently setup and is more of a sneaky,plan then attack style mission any helicopter assets would either have a reaaaaaaly long boring wait or alert any AI of our presence if the take it upon them to do a low flyby of an Objective. With that out of the way lets talk mission specifics and a completely made up backstory. Mission Parameters Team setup: 6x4-Man Force recon teams. Loadouts: SET + medical crates for additional supplies if you deem them necessary. JIP: NONE Respawn: NONE + spectator. Mission planning is done ingame with the teams selecting one of the 6 objectives, one of the objectives is recon until the other teams arrive tho you could be brave and try it without support... Chopper insertion, it can only land 3 times due to wanting to spend as little as time as possible in the "hotzone" ASR AI will be field tested on this mission. SIGNUPFORM Backstory Sharani Military has requested help from AWOPS to help take out and otherwise weaken a militia group that is recieving funding by a organization interested in destabilizing the nation of Sahrani. AWOPS has detached 6x4 Man force recon teams with USgear to help.

  17. When you slave your mav seeker to your spi touch the slev joystick(if you have setup that) sliiiighly it should snap straight to lock.

So I mashed togheter a patrol mission using ALiVE and its asynchronous mode, so if youd like to join in destroying caches and recruitment senters and keeping the hearts and minds of the citizens of al-rayak safe signup below Slots Form Loadouts are set, main force comp is UK with mastiff hardware to use as traveling with a small recon force led by me. So we _WILL_ need a pltco. Further mission details will be given to who ever signs up as PLTCO.
