They have been more aggressive with the local populace and increased their random checkpoints. Through the help of our outside backers we have determined the location of the commander of the LDF anti insurgency forces for the region. Our mission will be to assassinate him and destroy his base of operations to send a message to the whole world.   3. Results from week 1: Our glorious forces have landed the first blow against the corrupt government. We have liberated several assets to utilise in our campaign. Assets: Full vehicle R&R A number of LDF trucks, including several .50 offroads. An assortment of weapons and attachements taken from the gunrunners. One special rifle from the General's house. Effects: Garrison at Polona was wiped out, we will see less patrols in the area. Comms tower was destroyed meaning LDF will be slower when calling in reinforcements. LDF are now aware of our presence. Forces in the area will be more alert in future.

  12. I am currently building a Guerrilla campaign, which will focus on defeating the corrupt government forces and outside invaders in order to free the country. Your rag tag bunch of rebels will start with little but as your faction grows you will gain access to more resources and assets. The question is which map would people prefer as you the players are the ones going to be playing. The choices are Malden or Livonia. Benefits of Malden are that is free and everyone can play, Livonia has massive forests that would fit this style of play. Choice is yours, Midnight
  13. First come first serve, although certain slots such as Platoon lead and Vortex will be okayed before missions start due to their importance
  14. @Minipily Yea it will be the more organised style that we have seen on EU2 for the Zeus missions. I will be giving a brief beforehand and it will be down to the platoon lead and their squad leads to complete the mission.

A large force has crossed the border in secret and set up a base of operations somewhere in the South of the country. They are operating to undermine local government operations, we suspect in anticipation of an annexation like the one seen in the Crimea. The Livonia Defense Force has deployed a force to root out the Spetnaz base, and to counter their activity in the province. Your mission is to hunt down the Russian forces, find their base and drive them from the land.

Hey Del, You don't need to go to the hassle of using Armasync, you can connect using the vanilla Arma launcher, the allowed mods can be downloaded from the steam workshop if you want them, none are required. Allowed mods are listed here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1778947844 , Note that not all mods will work together, start small. For Teamspeak the easiest way to connect is by creating a bookmark. This is done by clicking bookmarks and add bookmark. The Label is just the name you want to give the bookmark. Server address is ts.ahoyworld.com. Finally, enter a nickname for yourself (which will appear to others when you connect) and save. You can then connect using the bookmarks menu. That should be enough to keep you going for a while, any other questions feel free to send me a message.

  20. From my point of view the mission went very well, we had some teething issues but that is to be expected from the first mission in a new format. Some Items I noted: Communication This is still something to be worked on. This will likely take trial and error to best design a system to allow efficient comms between squads/command/vortex. I think a lot of the problem we had was that there were too many voices and not enough listening, this again is likely a result of this being the first mission and I imagine people will get better at this in the coming weeks. Mission Design I only played the second mission and enjoyed it a lot, I felt the number of enemies as about right. we assaulted the middle of the base so we had enemies all around and it felt like it, but it was never over the top. Platoon Structure We definitely need a platoon element which will likely include a platoon command, platoon medic and possibly a FAC. This will allow each squad lead the ability to focus on their squad only. It will also allow for more organised and free communication. again can't wait for the next mission. See you next Sunday
  21. Hi all, I know I arrived late but I still had a lot of fun at yesterdays Zeus Op. I'm looking forward to next weeks event and to keeping this going for quite some time. If you have any feedback, suggestions or anything related to the Zeus Ops please post it here.
  22. Are you talking about on EU1 or Arma in general? The vehicles that spawn on EU1 which are not NATO by default will usually have a alternate paint colour and a NATO flag to differentiate them from the enemy. This is done by way of sript throught the vehicles virtual garage. It an also be replecated to some extent by a Zeus with the Achilles mod. This is not a setting which is customisable by the player on the ground unfortunately.
