    Please whitelist the ShackTac User Interface successor DUI - Squad Radar and make both mods optional for AWE (ST UI is currently mandatory).
     
    I personally prefer DUI and I can imagine that I'm not the only one, but I can also imagine that there are others who prefer to use ST UI, so I suggest making both options available, similar to how it is done on our Invade & Annex server(s).

    The much deserved critiques from last weeks mission have been taken into account, and I look forward to this being a much more enjoyable experience for all. Also enhanced movement got added as a mod due to popular demand.

    As the pilot's are critical to both the success and the community's enjoyment of this mission, please message @BenjaminHL if you wish to fly during this mission. This is the only restriction for playing any role in this mission.  
     
    Situation
    Tensions between the United States and Iran have reached new heights. Neither side is backing down and both sides continue to posture with increasing displays of brinkmanship. War Hawks within the United States Government, including the President, have decided that enough is enough. The United States will strike first in an effort to prevent catastrophe in the region and protect the country's interests in the international economy. Critical to the invasion, named Operation Fighting Resolve, is the capture of Landay Airfield in the inland province of Anizay. This airfield is used to launch interceptor aircraft as well as acting as the main support base for Iran's mobile ballistic missile divisions. Secondarily, to the base's west is a crucial Iranian Command and Control Center (CCC). Capturing, disabling, and investigating the CCC will enable conventional US forces to establish a foothold as they move inland during the follow on stages of the invasion. The unit that has been tasked with mission is the 2nd Battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment. No unit is more perfect for this mission than the 75th Ranger Regiment with their expertise in direct action and airfield seizure.

    Mission
    Conduct an airborne assault of Landay Airfield and then move to engage the CCC over land.
     
    Execution
     
    Objectives:
    1. Preform SEAD to allow for the paradrop 
    2. Capture Anizay Airfield and destroy Iranian assets
    3. Destroy a long range, ground based radar to the north of the airfield
    4. Capture the CCC and destroy communications equipment, search for intel, and destroy Iranian's CCC network
     
    Movement Plan:
    Planned paradrop followed by commander's discretion of execution
     
    Rules of Engagement:
    Armed personnel may be engaged on sight.
    Civilians are present in the area so collateral damage is to be kept to a minimum.
    Only buildings clearly being used for a military purpose may be engaged.
     
    Optional Tasks:
    None
     
    Resupply:
    At the commander’s discretion assets may be airlifted or airdropped to resupply forces. 
     
    Reinforcements:
    Unlimited (allowed by helicopter after the capture of the airfield) 
     
    Command:
    Overall command lays with Regimental Command
    Operational control on the ground lies with the Platoon Commander

    Been a while since I have done one of these (early summer was the last time), but I am glad to be back and this should be a really great mission. It is inspired by the MW2 mission "The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday". Looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

    Situation
    Russia has continued its aggression and has now branched out into the Mediterranean. However, this time the United States and the international community is not letting Russia's occupation of the Island of Malden go unanswered. Russian Marines have set up SAM sites on oil rigs to the East and West of the island as well as a sprawling artillery fire base to protect the island against an invasion. In order for the USMC's beach landings to be successful all three sites must be eliminated. SOCOM has dispatched NSW Group 1, SDV Team 1 to accomplish the mission. The SEALs are tasked with using SDVs to approach both oil rigs undetected, destroy the SAM radars or missile launchers, then move by helicopter to attack and destroy the artillery fire base, and finally defend the fire base until the USMC can commence its invasion on the northern beaches.

    This was fun mission.
     
    I rly liked the initial insertion with mines and contact and our roundabout push with Delta towards the compoud across the field from abmush site site while EI seemied to be counterattacking on the same route.
     
    It got little messy after, with little confusing orders from command - first to diverted to mortars, that canceled we were heading back to Delta, then redirected back to Alpha and US troops.
    Since our last push took us to the same objective and string of compounds, where we were headed originally together with Delta, I'm not sure why we returned back to Alpha's position and pushed from there?
     
    Anyway we had some fun (and losses) breaching those compounds and @BenjaminHL was rly good as SL.
     
    PS: moral I took from this mission: Mine Detector beeping is barely audible when earplugs are IN, especially when shooting occurs (stepped on mine realizing I hear beeping about 0.5 seconds before explosion).
