razgriz33 got a reaction from Josh in How the sausage is made (or - what's happened / is happening with TS Tags)
Read and I approve. Something that we may see as rather trivial on first glance may actually be meaningful to others, so in that respect I'm happy to put it to a vote, as long as you reserve the right to veto it.

razgriz33 reacted to Ryko in Changing of the Guard
Hello all AhoyWorld members!
As a result of long term ongoing discussions, @Davidour site leader for almost a year has decided to move on and pass leadership forward. After extensive discussion I have been elected to take his place.
We thank David for his leadership and contributions to the AhoyWorld community and wish him all the best in his future endeavours. He has agreed to stay on temporarily in an advisory capacity until things smooth out, however his decision on whether he decides to stay with us long term has yet to be decided.
For my part, I'll appreciate your patience and support during this period of transition and I look forward to seeing you out in our various virtual battlefields.

Well have I got a treat for you, especially if you're the type of person who tinkers, likes science and or engineering...oh and beyblades:
Also this:
The above is a brachistachrone, not only do the objects all arrive at the same time regardless of their starting position this route is the quickest from A to B, a straight line although the shortest distance will not accelerate enough to arrive first, the opposite side of the scale is a curve that drops too steeply at the start to gain acceleration is not a short enough distance to arrive first. This curve was derived from a point on the edge of a circle rolling along a base....it's kinda hard to describe but easy to see

This technoligy is applied in baseball for atleast 10 years. Its done with batting practise and starts with looking at the pitcher all the way to when the catcher has the ball or you hitting it.

So the racers amongst us would be interested in this, what are you looking at when you're "on the racing line"?

Thought I'd share some circuit training, I'm currently just over halfway through my training. Next up for me is cross county and then solo cross country. AMA chaps on this flying malarky and I'll try to answer it.

So I can't really vote in this as I missed most of 2016 which really means I should totally win the "AW most absent staff member 2016:" category. Not least of all because I was so absent I am no longer even staff
Not too mention most of the new guys probably don't even know who I am...
