The last few times the vets and other long time players used the training time to do our own thing, for example we played with some launchers and the F18s. As long as it doesn't get in the way of whatever the newbies are doing then I don't see the problem.

Having seen the flying you're talking about I couldn't agree more.  I told said player to leave and practice in Editor and I think that's good advice for any new pilots.

I won't say much but I understand the problem. I also think the best solution is to spawn the rewards at the side mission, give the rewards to the people who earned it, not the people who happened to connect or respawn at the right moment.

Squad menu seems a bit glitchy, lots of text flickering on and off. Then again might just be me.

Turn hard, don't be afraid to throw the heli around and dive for cover, ie hills, valleys etc... Chuck the coutermeasures on for good measure but always expect a second launch, and third and fourth for that matter.

As Miczils said the littlebird is not suited to being shot at so don't feel disheartened if you take a hit every so often.

I have spent around 50-60% of my Arma time around AWE/EU3 and have been with the community for coming up on two years. Saying that I would still probably leave if first person was enforced. At the end of the day its personal preference which is why BI gave us the ability to switch between views, I don't even use third person all of the time, usually just in vehicles and when running long distances, I'd just be annoyed if I lost ability to be able to switch between.

I also can't agree with making changes to the server in order to get rid of a certain demographic.

I realise there are a lot of people that take first person very seriously and I have no problem with that, to them I just say let the third-person-ers do their thing and you do yours. 

Saying all this I'm pretty sure the server will stay as is anyway, just wanted to get my point across.

Not really a bug but played the capture jet mission on Lythium as a pilot and the enemy jet was a shikra, I don't have jet dlc so couldn't fly it out and we ended up destroying it. My point is surely the jet can be anything else?

I was looking into a Trackir substitute for dcs, this looks perfect and better than the self-build solutions out there.

Its not possible to select it on the terminal or to connect it manually when standing next to it.

Its just like a prop at the moment.

You have to use the scroll menu on the drone to 'hack' it, then you have full control.

If this was real life you'd have to leave the server, uninstall the game and lie in your virtual bed for six months, just for taking a couple of bullets. This is not real life and the server must strike a balance. I think it works perfectly as it is.

If I understand this correctly and you have one cable splitting into two 6-pin slots, then this is what has killed your gpu. I did the same thing on my old graphics card and it ended up doing the same as yours. When you get your new one, make sure its one cable to one 6-pin slot, I did this by buying a 4-pin (Which aren't used for anything on my pc) to 6-pin converter as my power supply doesn't have two 6-pins either.

Although in this specific case you could have just used the cTab tablet to move the UAV. Its also easy enough to park a jet somewhere where it can be used again without it having to be in a hangar, runways and taxiways nearly always form some kind of circuit that it can be parked on and moved as required.

Disagree with this change if only for the launchers, resupply isn't efficient enough to rely on it when there's a tank nearby that needs dealing with asap. And I too never saw a problem with people picking up enemy rifles, it happened so rarely anyway.
