We (very) occasionally play some DayZ, it's a good game if everyone plays fair. We even hosted an unofficial server over Winter on Lingor for a couple of months. It was good, but player numbers were often low so we didn't carry on with it.
Also found it got boring after you got to the point of being pretty much self sufficient barring ammunition.

As a heap of you may have noticed, all of our servers (including EU and US servers) are down.
We're currently suffering a large DDoS attack and are working with our hosting companies to resolve the problem as quickly as we can.

All is good mate, it wasn't my chopper anyway.  I appreciate you trying to make the choppers respawn but please take note of VON as we were going to some effort to get the downed pilot revived and the chopper running again without having to just make it respawn.  Its more fun to stage a rescue mission than just wait a couple of minutes for a respawn.

What do you have in the address field?

Don't worry about a port number or anything else. It sounds like you are connecting to one of those default channels that only has 2 slots with a default port of 9887.

In my opinion the guns are worse. But yes, some kind of check so you cannot get stuff that we have restricted in this way (not only sniper stuff) is something I'd like as well.

I was told about this community from another member and friend named Jester who is one of the admins. I've only been playing on the server for a few days now but so far its been pretty awesome. The good news on the other hand is that we're popular enough to get DDOS'd! YAY!

I really like some of the crazy designs in-win come out with, the D-frame is a particular favourite of mine. This one however O_o it's a bit on the shard edges side of my liking.
