next time could we get passworded channels since we got randoms hopping in the channel disrupting coms that cost some of us to get shot

I had used my sleepy brain and came up with idea which i would like to share with you all. You know that feeling, that after each side mission is complete you are hoping for some serious CAS vehicle to spawn? Well, you can stop hoping now becouse i have some Do It Yourself solution always available to you!
 

 
I present you my genious invention which i call Flying Offroad Ordonance Dispenser (FOOD for shorts ).
 
 
Step1: Get on teamspeak or form a squad to facilitate communications.
Step2: Increase your view distance in vehicle (so you can engage and lock far targets).
Step3: Take two (crazy) AT guys and loads of AT and AA missiles, which you shove in the trunk of an offroad.
Step4: Soar in the sky and rain down AT missiles from safe distance.
 
To be able to stand in the back with launcher ready to shoot i need to uneguip all weapons exept T-launcher, select turn out from action menu and then press "3".

     The last operation was pretty great, but there are a few things that needed to be changed. For this event, those changes will be made, from better signing up to more organized squads which will be done through TS chat and its whisper system.
Although the previous operation was a failure, NATO is fully aware of the CSAT threat now. Tanoa is now on full alert, and any guerrilla offensives now are reported to us for counteroffensive movements. An hour ago, Tanoan officials reported that Comm site Bravo has been taken over by enemy activity. Although the site isn’t finished, there have been reports of a mobilization of construction equipment and something briefly showing on our radar screens. We suspect CSAT is using the site for something sinister, and thus it is absolutely vital that we take this facility down.
The threat here is major gentlemen. We know CSAT has been working on devices related to seismic activity, and a product of their research so close to a one active volcano…it’s clear that there is a major possible threat here.
Just one extra thing. Tanoan officials do not want us poking our noses around comm site Alpha. They’re worried that is we use it as a staging area, valuable communication equipment could be damaged. That site serves as an early warning system for the entire country, so we must honour this request.
NATO OBJECTIVES:
1.       Eliminate 80% of the Guerilla forces around comm sight Bravo
2.       Find and destroy any CSAT technology
NATO’s assets:
-Infantry (the players)
-Air transport via hummingbird pilots
- 2 HMG prowlers
-Darters (2)
-1 and only 1 Pawnee for CAS
 
CSAT OBJECTIVES:
1.       Defend CSAT technology at all costs for 30 minutes on first contact OR 45 minutes after the mission officially begins until the VTOL can extract it (meaning NATO can spend at max 15 minutes of unit placement preparation before a time penalty, timing is key here)
CSAT’s assets:
-Guerrilla emplacements and forces
-Viper infantry (4-6 players)
-AT and AA assets
-Defensive emplacements
 
Additional notes:
-CSAT capable of respawning
-multiple ways for CSAT extraction
-sign up recommended, but drop ins allowed
-no mods
-NATO squad leaders can bring RPGs
-CSAT team picked at random

On a final note, more specific instructions will be posted as time goes by, and within 3 days of the operation, the CSAT team will be contacted and given a specific briefing as well as a preview of the area of operation in order to set up additional defenses.

Mission Brief:

Alright ladies and gents, today we will be assaulting a Guerilla occupied town, so keep your eyes open for civilians. Anyone holding a weapon of any kind is free to engage, and the Brass wants this town cleaned up ASAP. It’s been a thorn in everyone’s side for too freaking long, and it’s about time we took care of it. Get in, eliminate whatever you can find: enemies, weapon caches, armed vehicles, contraband, Castro's armed grandma, anything at all that can pose an issue for NATO operations. We also have some air support ready to provide CAS, it's not like the morons will have anything to take it down! Should be nice and easy for you guys…

-get to the ghost hawk
-keep the pilot alive until rescue arrives
-destroy the Ghost Hawk
-get out
Secondary Objectives:
-Destroy the weapon cache
-Find and eliminate the source of the Guerilla’s Anti Air capability
-eliminate their local leader
-destroy their source of transportation
Hey, it’s time for another Zeus operation! And no, we’re not doing Kavala again. It will still be on that private server like last time and you will have to be in TS to get the password. I’ll be upscaling the AI to the amount of people that join, and you can expect to have to organize in doing the main objectives while trying to tackle the side operations. Trust me, if you’re able to hit the side objectives, they will have major effects on the main objectives line. Also, if you manage to complete every side objective, I’ll drop some hints on what future Zeus events will be. I’m planning quite a bit over the next few months guys, and I think you’re all going to get quite the kick out of it all…
No mods required, this'll be on Altis, yadda yadda. Set-up will begin 30 minutes before the event starts (3:30 pm EST, 19:30 GMT) to get everyone and everything set up, so please be on TS early, i'm shooting to get this all done within a 1-2 hour time frame

I usually play Sandbox , FPS , RTS , Openworld , Servival Games
I've started fps gaming on battlefield 2 then BFBC2, BF3 , BF4.
While i started BF3 i started with Arma 2.
I have 1523 hours on Arma 2 and 3 combined.
I've been on Arma 3 since alpha.
Playing games with a group of people is most of the time more fun the playing solo.
looking forward of being here.
This is my experience so far on AhoyWorld  , better said moments on Arma 3 ahoy servers
