    I had used my sleepy brain and came up with idea which i would like to share with you all. You know that feeling, that after each side mission is complete you are hoping for some serious CAS vehicle to spawn? Well, you can stop hoping now becouse i have some Do It Yourself solution always available to you!
     

     
    I present you my genious invention which i call Flying Offroad Ordonance Dispenser (FOOD for shorts ).
     
     
    Step1: Get on teamspeak or form a squad to facilitate communications.
    Step2: Increase your view distance in vehicle (so you can engage and lock far targets).
    Step3: Take two (crazy) AT guys and loads of AT and AA missiles, which you shove in the trunk of an offroad.
    Step4: Soar in the sky and rain down AT missiles from safe distance.
     
    To be able to stand in the back with launcher ready to shoot i need to uneguip all weapons exept T-launcher, select turn out from action menu and then press "3".

    As discussed in the meeting we are looking to update the website and with it, the website logo. We decided to throw it open to the users for a logo submission if you want to, but there are a few guidelines:
     
    - Logos must be submitted by Friday 13th of May.
    - It must be your own work.
    - It must be resizeable and recognisable through all resolutions down to 16x16.
    - If your logo is chosen the logo will remain your property however AhoyWorld will obtain unlimited usage rights.
    - Logos should be submitted here on this thread.
     
    If you want to have a go, get stuck in! If not, then just sit back and carry on what you were doing.

    Removing the tank is not the best idea in order to use the tank to its best you need 3 players to coordinate and work as a team. I have saved loads of squads by using the slammer in this way ie mobile cover so medics and get downed players, taking out a t-100 that's moved up on a squad and so on.
     
    I understand were you come from 1 person sitting on a hill killing everything is not fun they should be with the infantry supporting the attack as the tank is meant to be.
     
    So removing the tank would make problems not really solve any. Its a asset just used incorrectly, don't punish the tank its tool punish the user lone wolfing, wasting assets etc.

    I have been FSG gunner the last few time I have played. All you need is a good spotter me and Sniper teamed up and we cleared AO's in a offroad repair like no tomorrow. Having more gunners will be pointless it would lead to uncoordinated firing which in the worst case could lead to a whole squad getting FF. The way it is at the moment is fine.
     
    Just need that mortar offroad to spawn as default at base and it will be perfect in my eyes.

    Ive been playing alot fsg gunner lately (using arty computer). Specially when Pilger is online we go for the artillery.
     
    Hitting at once is possible if you change the charge, first fire a heavy charge (eta for example 40 sec) and a medium charge (eta for example 30 sec) when the heavy charge has 30 seconds to go and the impact almost at the same moment. Tho im not using it often, shell by shell works good aswell and i think having shells exploding on the same moment is overrated.
     
    Effectiveness depends on 3 things i think: range, type of target and most important the spotter.
     
    -range: short range is most effective, almost no spread of rounds were a heavy charge makes the spread quite big and ofcourse, medium is in between.
    -target: the mobility and armor make this one. Mobile targets are harder to hit, specially when its hard to predict where they go. Buildings and cover are also have a small factor in the effect.
    -spotter: is the most important factor in effectiveness. A spotter just marking random and not being sure were the enemy is is a waste of ammo. A good spotter, marking the amount of rounds and the spread is essential. Its possible to get over 75 kills in just an hour... with only 1 mortar being setup and making every single round count.
     
    Transport: i prefer to load a hunter with 3 mortars (empty vehicle inventory) you can stuff 3 bipods and 2 tube's and one the back. I drive to a location close enough to use medium charge and heavy charge. Heavy charge got a reach of around 4km and medium around 2km.
    I also keep an eye on the location if it comes to lz's, nothing more frustrating if youve loaded up the hunter, been driving for 15 minutes and when you are mortaring, someone else taking off with the hunter and gets it wrecked.
     
    Sochor: The most exciting piece of artillery ive played with so far and in the same time boring as hell. You can send those massive 155mm shells all over the map without the need to move. You can shell the enemy with normal rounds but its also possible to shoot a minefield (ap&at) clusters shells and some more funny things you dont have with the mortar. 
     
    My conclusion: only 1 mortar can handle almost a complete AO if used properly (good spotter). Having multiple fsg gunners will give reason to compete with eachother if not coordinated (like everything on eu1) and result in barraging the AO blindly. Its not the amount of assets its how its used and controled: quality, not quantity is wat counts here.

    You should use an Offroad - they have a lot more Inventory space and you can carry more than twice the tubes.
    It allows you to move directly from one AO to the next without the need to RTB after every mission.

    True, but i just like the hunter (without hmg) With a good spotter i can last for 3 AO's, 1 mortar for 1 AO.

    Beeing a admin is a ungratefull unpaid job at times (i know that all to well lol )  but what effort you put in you get back in the form of appriciation and support by the community

    Let us remember that they use their free time to work with main and side missions.

     I have played EU 3 and i don't enjoy milsim or the poor fps, That's why i made the post because of the encouragement of the admin at the time to try and bridge the gap. 
    This topic was created to see how the admin and the community felt about it and for those question's you asked to be answered.

    Personally I don't think a new server is required, just like Zissou's points of who is going to build and maintain it. However I think that a game night of this nature would be a great idea to provide a bridge between those regulars on EU#3 and EU#2/1. I also think this may help to combine the two communities rather than having this barricade between the two. As of right now it feels like the players of EU#3 fully separate themselves from the players of EU#1 and EU#2.

    Hello everyone me and a few of the community members were thinking of how we could bridge the gap between the vanilla servers ie EU 1/2 to the vastly modded EU 3. Because the servers are so different we feel that a semi modded EU 1/2 server would fill the gap, Possibly EU 5. This would give a bit more variety to the game play by using minimal mods on EU 1/2 maps and missions. This server would still give people the experience of team work but not be as hardcore. The mods we were thinking of using would be a Weapon's pack, Weapon Attachment pack, Uniform pack, Some form of a vehicle pack and less intrusive form of acre 2. Please tell me your thoughts if you think this is a good idea or not, Would love to get your feedback.
     
     
    As of the recent issues in the comments below with some of the contradicting opinions of the community members i feel it would be in everyone's best interest to come up with a simple answer ie yes i would like this to happen or no it's not for me, I understand the reasons why some of the community don't want this to happen but this topic was never created for those individuals that had no intention of playing this server or game night. My original post wasn't meant to upset anyone it was a simple idea to see if people felt the same way but some individuals have taken it the wrong way. Thanks to the people who have expressed their opinion in a detailed way but lets keep it simple from now on.

    Okay so getting the data to behave hasn't been easy but here are some stats from EU1 for the week of 19th to 25th of March.
     
    3144 connections
    2632 disconnections

    Not sure how that one works probably an error of mine but it gives you an idea of how many people play on EU1
    So we can say that's around 420 players a day on EU1 (I think I'm messing up somehow here but for the next part it won't really matter)

    Now if we take away some of the reasons that the player has no control over themselves eg client not responding etc. we get
