Lemme start this off by a huge thank you, not only to the owners/ many close friends i have but to the community as a whole. I joined this community around august 2015 and I dont know where I would be without having been apart of this community. This community was more then a community to me, it was a place I could call my family where I was almost always welcome when I join the teamspeak, I miss bragging to my friends about the great community I was in and I still do that to this day. I remember the first day I joined this server, funny enough Lamasioux invited me.. if you know you know.. I instantly fell in love with the community and played for about 6 hours on the first day. The next day I joined in our my very first gamenight on fallujah, and i honestly dont think I will ever forget that moment. After the gamenight I realized this server was special and I wanted to be apart of it; A few weeks later I recived Field Ambassador I was ecstatic. A few months later Razgriz pulled me into a channel and asked if I would like to become a EU3 moderator, Words could not describe that feeling that all my hard work and dedication was noticed thanks raz BTW. I was a Eu3 mod for about 7 or 8 months before I burned myself out of arma, I put 700 hours in about 10 months which in my opinion is insane. I can also remember getting home from school and literally running to my computer to play with everyone 
 
I've made a couple return post and unfortunately I've tried a couple times to come back to the place I used to call home and I just cant commit.. And it makes me mad because I really do wana join back but I dont think I can..
 
Honestly this makes me love the Ahoyworld community even more. Many of those of us who have been apart of this community, and those who have moved on, can all admit- this place we call home played a big part in our gaming lives, if not our lives in general. We met some good friends, shared some epic moments, and had fun doing it. Cheers to the good old times, and to the ones ahead.. Again I cant imagine I would be without this community today, sometimes I wish the old days were back and I was still apart of this community.
I may pop into the teamspeak every now and then but I think my name popping up is more irrelevent then ever. I dont have the friendships/prescense in this community as I used to. If you ever want to talk lemme know via steam (https://steamcommunity.com/id/iamdespite2k/) Maybe i will even pop in sometime and play ArmA. Again Thanks to the memories and oppurtunites this server has presented me with, I cant stress how much im thankful for finding this place.

Could do but it's a bit small. There was 3 airfields on the Falklands. Think I'll do it on Altis, seems quite close.
 
I'm gonna make it a campaign like Prometheus, so we'll be slowly capturing the island. The objectives will be based on playercount;
 
if theres only a dozen people on, we can do special forces style missions like knocking out SAM sites and shit (as they did). If we get more, we can do full out AAV Royal Marine beach invasions for taking over cities and what not.
 
 
 
Think I'll probs give it a go, the more I think about it the more I want to do it, just quite a lot of work getting it right. No idea if people would like the styles too.

So, as quite a few people have stated already, nobody has to make it if we want to use already existing missions. They can certainly be enjoyable and good quality.
 
However, that said, there are also a fair few number of community members who I'm sure are willing to help with a new mission however they can - should we want our own.

Slight problem with that, who's going to make the new mission?

I think we just need a fresh start; new mission, revised modpack.
 
And perhaps even more importantly - an actual direction/goal/stanpoint that the server sticks to. The focus of entertainment should be mostly centered around gameplay/teamplay, not mods.

So if it wasn't clear to some people my comment about Karate's GN was a joke. Personally I thought I made it clear with the real life photo of a M1 Abrams and the bit about Al Jazeera, but take it as you will.
 
Obviously I have nothing personal against Karate or anyone in the community at all and I cleared that up with him.
 
 
 
 
This isn't an apology, but I hope no one else other than @Karate Pyjamas and @Xwatt took my comment the wrong way.
 
I always encourage for people to take any personal problems that they have with me on TS; "man to man" so to speak. I've grown far too tired of people keeping themselves in the dark about any issues they have against me and it's only taken us backward in the community, so please, don't keep it to yourself and build up hate for no reason.
 
 
 
 
Anyway, me and @Minipily's crew had fun on that GN, he even has footage recorded from it. This is exactly why I thought it would be appropriate to joke about. Actual apologies for straying the topic off course.
 
P.S @Xwatt Thanks for the advice but rest assured I'm confident that, after three years, I have the antidote for AWE. Next time I'll keep sarcasm and satire off text and save it for TS only, my bad. @MoonFire

@Noah_Hero not the reason why i play modded, i play modded because i want the IRL assets and as well i'm so board of the vanilla you play for a bit you have used all of the assets which vanilla has to offer, which in my opinion gets boring very quickly.  That is why all i want changing is the rid of CUP and bringing back TF 47.

My opinion with SMA and CUP is that SMA defiantly has better quality of weapon compared to CUP and its a shame that we cannot access all of the weapons in SMA, but i wouldn't complain if CUP disappeared. 

Okay so if we had faction specific arsenal and say faction specific squad layout would that solve the current diversity issue??

The current situation is no one is playing not anything about downloading mods or anything. If you can't decide on anything other than it's ok as it is, because clearly it's not

We already had that. It was called eu4 nobody played it

The hole point of cup being removed was to make the mod pack smaller now the pack is larger then it’s ever been
