hobnob11 got a reaction from Amentes in The removal of enemy weapons on death is a bad idea (in my opinion)
People taking less ammo on purpose is a very serious problem, but i dont think this is the solution. I would suggest a good old fashioned shouting at as a solution for that. when you have a AO thats set to nightmare and even with vortex on eagle you're surrounded by btr's and bmp's, that rpg would come in real handy.

I have not seen any problem with players using Russian equipment or purposefully taking too little ammo to justify taking enemy weapons. And the option to use enemy weapons have saved my ass plenty of times when prolonged combat has eaten all of my ammo and imidiate resupply was not available or possible
or we have used our M72/at4s and we have a tank that mat cannot deal with then I usually borrow rpg 26s until M72s or at4s are available via ammo crates or someone brings a back pack with it.
And if it was such a huge issue that it was needed
Why have I not heardabout this from the admins or the moderators or the playerbase In General?

oh cool, it would be nice to have the active radar but i doubt the modded AA threats are affected by the radar being turned on and off. mainly i just want a targeting pod that isnt done via ductape and a quadcopter.

Hi, im the one who fucked up so i thought i might provide some insight as to what happened:
There where about 6 ifrits on the northwest side of the hill that the tower was on, i was told to take them all down.
So there i am with my javelin kill after kill, After about 5 minutes of no vehicles, somone in the squad calls one out that's just driven over the hill to our side.
In the video, the smoke stack for this vehicle is the middle one you see, its about 50-100 meters south of the tower, i asked if i was clear to engage it and was told to do so. So off goes the javelin in top down mode, slams right into the 7th ifrit like all the rest.
This is when we here "mission failed".....
It was my (and most of the people in my squads) understanding that the VIP is IN the compound, probably in the tower, not 100 meters south of said tower in a ifrit?
anyway, lesson learned was: make sure the person giving you the ok to fire is talking about the same vehicle

From closer inspection of the video at 1:17:12, http://imgur.com/6CdLvs9
As you can see, the ifrit i blew up failing the mission was probably closer to 150-200 meters away from the compound....
mvp just felt like a drive -.-
