    I`ve had some time today and I`ve swapped OPFOR units for RHS Russian units.
     
    DONE:
    - changed main units into VDV camo
    - changed recon units into MSV camo
    - changed sniper units into 2 marksman classes available (waiting for proper sniper classes)
    - changed all OFPOR vehicles into Russian ones (mostly VDV camo) accordingly to proper configs (air, light, heavy vehicles, jets, etc..)
    - changed rescue helicopter classnames to RHS Blufor choppers (Blackhawk, Blackhawk Medical, Chinook) - this can be changed back to Vanilla Blufor units or Kimi helicopters
    - changed target officer from OPFOR to Russian officer (needs testing if the script removes his weapon/pistol)
    - changed OPFOR faction into rhs_faction and changed the name into Russian Forces (can/should be change into something better - see below) - needs double checking if the faction name is correct
    PO3_side_3 = [ east, "rhs_faction", "Russian Forces" ]; // AI Side (Tasks and Ambient) TO BE DONE:
    - changing divers to Russian ones (if they ever come out)
    - changing Opfor SDV into Russian one (if every available)
    - .......
     
    I`ve done some small testing (locally) and so far the proper units have spawned, from infantry, light vehicles, tanks, static weapons. I would need more testing if all classnames are correct (or typed correctly) and if all task spawn enemies.
     
    I`ll just share the Patrol_Ops_3_Configuration.hpp, because it`s the only file I modified. Whoever is looking over the PO3, feel free to use the file, modify it however you wish. My guess is, it just needs more testing by more players and see if the units are balanced properly.

    I know I haven`t played with you lately, but I wish to put some personal input/feedback (if I may).
     
    I agree with people choosing a couple of suitable roles for them, it makes a squad/unit to behave better, more fluency in completing the mission. As for camo/uniforms, I would set it so only camo matching the terrain being played on can be used (does mean VA in each mission needs to be edited). Less choice people have, less time is spent in base, by that, I don`t mean no choice, just spending time in base is shortened. People should still have options available, but not 40+ as now (not exact number ).
     
    Optional training would be the best option, due to this community not being "hardcore" MilSim community, although some basic stuff should be learned by everyone.
     
    I voted for more custom mission, although it might sound to some "now we need/want more missions". It`s not what I mean, not at all. I will also try to start creating misssions (haven`t done that since A3 Beta), but I have been following script development, so I could be able to create one mission per month, just the right ideas are needed.
     
    Mission configurator is not a bad idea as well, mostly for mission nights. I`ve created like a small MCC Template for SP testing that I`ve ported on any map I desired to try. So same principle could be done with this, if a template for MCC is made on Altis, tested, polished, it can easily be ported to any map (no special need to port scripts/markers between them). Due to MCCs great power of having a mission generator, mission can be setup easily, in just a couple of minutes. Pluse, there used to be a feature to create a mission in SP/editor using MCC, saving it and then just loading by the admin (not sure if this still works).

    Squad leading takes a bit of time to learn (writting from personal experience), plus not everyone can do it (not directed at anyone), it`s just something I`ve come to realize after being in a squad for 3 years and involved in some basic training.
     
    As someone pointed out Dyslexis guide, it is very useful, you need some basic knowledge about formations, movement, positioning, etc. Mostly, you have to find your own way to lead a squad, your own system. As you said, maybe start with a smaller team, or just a fireteam within the squad and then build on that.
     
    Other thing that can be useful is to give command radio comms to your RTO (radio operator - rifleman with a radio). So you only have to focus on your squad only and (constant) radio comms don`t distract you.

    I voted for Cherno and Takistan, mostly because they run really good in A3 engine (played with them on a different server), also some other A2 maps run really well, Reshmaan, Capraia, Namalsk, Podogorsk.
     
    There are alse a few really awesome maps updated to A3 standards like Panthera, Isla Duala.
     
    As for Bornholm and X-Cam, massive FPS drops while playing the maps. X-Cam is more of a prototype map, not build for any serious playing, as for Bornholm, needs a lot of upgrading to run smoother.
     
    Anyway, looking forward with joy to what is gonna happen next.

    Hello folks!
     
    So I've been getting word from my friends that hacks are going around. I've warned people yet some people I warned got hacked, either curiosity or very smart hackers. Anyway straight to the point if you get image links or- you know what? ANY LINK THROUGH STEAM, then PLEASE DO NOT CLICK IT!!! I have no idea how bad the hacks are but a hack towards your steam can never be good, especially if you were silly enough to save details like credit details on there... (No offense). 
     
    SO BE WARNED, ignore steam interaction if possible and be safe til the steam guys manage to fix this crap!

    First of welcome to our forums.
     
    Second, it seems like you have a problem with something specific and I cannot really make out what it is (clan tags and covered map?!?). I also get the impression that you are not playing on one of our servers since we don't have rank tags and clan tags in our names. It would be helpful for us if you clearly specified what problems you have and also mention on what server you are playing, because it may well be that it is not one of ours.

    Why not just "organize" a gaming night (or just a couple of hours) and fully test the mission, maybe some day this week or on the weekend. The reason I said that is, you need a couple of players to properly test it, with even strenght on both sides ofc.
