AhoyWorld vs The USSR
Situation
In the early hours of April 23rd a single USSR MiG 21 flying at tree top level breached the frontline and made its way to Anapa, at 05:00 the sun rose an hour early. The airfield and surrounding area was destroyed.
In a completely unexpected move the USSR faced with continued air losses deployed a tactical nuke on the coalitions major airbase. Casualties are high and following doctrine a retaliatory strike of equal size has been ordered, the slippery slope to all out nuclear war has begun.
Its now midday and our own MiG 21's have been pulled out of storage and armed with nuclear free fall bombs, the target Mineralnye Vody. The target has been chosen for its lack of long range SAM cover.
The USSR will be expecting a counter attack, interceptor flights will be waiting.
Mission
Deliver the Bomb(s) to the target.
This is a SINGLE life mission for the MiG 21's with one shot, no respawns, rearms or second attempts. Only exceptions are if bombs are "lost" in transit, in which case mission can be aborted and flights RTB for rearm of bombs or crash on take off.
Escort fighters can respawn.

- Krasnodar
- Flights will take off and orbit the airfield until all others are in the air.
- Flights will rejoin and fly in a close formation between 20000-30000 feet to WP3.
- Upon reaching WP3 the MiG 21's will drop to low level while the escort stays high.
- Once the flight reaches WP4 the MiG 21's will spit off to target while the escort heads to WP 5 to escape the blast
- The escort will wait around WP5 and the tankers for the MiG 21's to re-join if they survive.
- Flight will then head to wp6 and land back at base (WP7)

AhoyWorld vs The USSR
Situation
The Frontline has successfully been moved forward.
Intelligence has located 3 offshore platforms being operated by the USSR as listening post. Command wants them destroyed or disabled.
Due to the presence of USSR warships some sneaky moves have been made to get our helicopters close, a group of cargo and patrol ships have closed to within 30NM of the rigs posing as civilian vessels.
Armed helicopters & speed boats have been observed operating from the rigs, In addition a warship we are yet to identify is in the area.

Destroy or disable the listening posts.

AhoyWorld vs The USSR
Situation
The time has come to move the frontline forward. With the SAM sites covering Krasnodar destroyed airborne & ground forces are moving in to capture the area.
Once Krasnodar has been captured a push down to the south will take place to capture Novorossiysk.
While Krasnodar has been the main focus of air operations leaving it a gentle stroll to capture with very little resistance predicted, Novo is a different story.
In the time since the strikes that completely decimated the Novorossiysk airfield, USSR construction crews have been hard at work repairing the runway and bringing short range defences back online.
Mission
Escort forces into the Krasnodar area then make your way south and escort ground forces onto the Novorossiysk airfield.

AhoyWorld vs The USSR
Situation
The Strike on the missile factory while a success was a humiliating loss for the coalition with almost all jets that took part being lost.
With the supply of new missiles stopped, command wants to push the frontline further into the USSR (see flight plan for the new frontline goal, blue line) stage one is Krasnodar. AhoyWorld is ordered to conduct a SEAD/DEAD mission ahead of a ground operation, the outcome of this mission will dictate the ease of which CAS and airborne troops can assist with the operation.
Command has shipped in a ten ton of JDAM, JSOW, HARM & TALD's, no shortages this time round.

Destroy SA-2, SA-5, SA-6, SA-10 & SA-15 sites across the Krasnodar area.

AhoyWorld vs The USSR
Situation
The USSR took another heavy hit with AhoyWorld successfully repelling the counter attack on Krymsk.
Time to hit them while they are down. An oil refinery in Tuapse has had a portion of it converted into a missile factory, receiving prefabricated parts for final assembly and fuelling. The route in is heavily defended by Ships and SAM's.
Due to the incompetence of either the SAM operators or overall command a small corridor has been left open that will allow AW flights to slip into the area and bomb the refinery/factory and cut the supply of fresh missiles.
While the USSR has been working on their logistical efforts AhoyWorld is now facing some of their own. Unfortunately all available JDAM's and JSOW's have been used up and fresh supplies will not arrive within the time frame of the strike restricting GP bombs available to dumb and laser guided, in addition to this a low cloud base will force the strike to stay below 11000 feet for the attack.
Mission
Slip into the area (ideally undetected) of the refinery/factory and destroy as much infrastructure as possible.
If detected by USSR radars you can expect CAP flights to be vectored onto your position. As soon as bombs start to drop USSR CAP flights will start to make there way to the area.

- Upon arrival of the jet flights all flights will strike the target. (the longer the loiter time the more USSR CAP flights will engage you.
- Upon completion of strike, flights will exit the same way they entered and return to home airfield, farp or carrier.

Enemy prisoners of war (POW) are to be treated well and brought to base for questioning.

Operations and ground control lie solely with the Platoon Commander. The RTO handles air traffic and can supplement communications.

AhoyWorld vs The USSR
Situation
Following a brutal border patrol that saw the extensive use of CBU 105's decimating a large portion of the USSR forces on the border region the forces stations at Novorossiysk and Krymsk withdrew.
High command seized the opportunity and ordered Krymsk captured, Novorossiysk was damaged beyond value during the border patrol and left alone for now. It has been easy going and no retaliation from the USSR for this action in the weeks since, intelligence suggests the soviets focus shifted to sorting out their logistical problems allowing forces to build up in preparation for large scale attacks.
A Rivet Joint has flown in to assist with holding the airfield and provide intelligence on the movements of the enemy. Since its arrival it has observed large numbers of helicopters and cargo planes flying in and out of Krasnodar and subsequently large numbers of troops moving out from the airfields to staging grounds to the west. It is estimated that at a constant loss they have roughly 2 hours worth of equipment.
It seems the wait is over and a counter attack is imminent. AhoyWorld flights are ordered to repel the counter attack and hold Krymsk.

AhoyWorld vs The USSR
Situation
In an unexpected series of events last night Russia flipped its name plate during a UN security council meeting and announced to the world it will once again be known as the USSR and closed its borders.
The country splintered and land grabs took place. Crimea and a portion of Russia have been acquired by Ukraine and opened to the world for assistance in the new lukewarm war. A Frontline has formed on the new borders and a multi nation coalition named "AhoyWorld" is charged with fighting this new old enemy in the Caucasus region.
Checkpoints and FARPS have been established across the border, the USSR has been sending artillery, jets, helicopters and small numbers of armoured units across to attack the AW checkpoints. Fortunately for us the USSR has a major logistical problem preventing any major action for now.
24/7 airborne patrols have been ordered to combat these attacks.

Pacific Confrontation
Situation
Anatahan has successfully been retaken, unfortunately hard drives and other smaller pieces of technology were smuggled out on the surviving submarine, alongside the loss of technology the Tarawa was forced to return to port with heavy damage. Both sides have not engaged each other in the 24 hours since in hopes of a diplomatic resolution.
The dispute moves to its final phase, Chinese forces during the cease fire set up a base on the island, Pagan. The base is well defended, the Chinese carrier group out to the west has begun to move east. All signs point towards an attempt to great a corridor to the island from the west.
ANZUS and Japanese forces move to expel the last of the Chinese forces from the Marianas and destroy the base before the corridor can be established.
The island is heavily defended by a SA10 site & Chinese destroyer. The air space is to heavily defended for our jets or helicopters to just waltz on in, as such the US carrier group will launch its full complement of cruise missiles at the island in order to drain the SAM and destroyer of its missiles allowing our flights to enter with a low threat level as long as the SAM's are still rearming.
Mission
Destroy all Chinese forces on and around the Pagan island.
Remember outside our exclusion zone is international waters/airspace.

Due to location airfield based jets are air started to begin with above the carrier at point of take off. Once air started jets have dropped bombs, etc fly to bullseye and re-slot to respawn to rearm.
Helicopters will start on gas platforms 15nm from pagan island, its advised to remain on the helipad until the air defences have been drained of missiles.
- Carrier and helis will start up. Once started Airfield based jets will take their slots.
- Before carrier jets and helicopters take off cruise missiles will be launched.
- Flights will take off from Airfields or carriers and orbit until all flights have taken off then head for targets.
