Perhaps we should use a workshop kind of structure, basically have 3 things running at the same time with people's expertise:
    e.g.
Mortar usage/Map reading (They go hand in hand and are easy to combine)
    Room Clearing/CQB
    Medical System

That way we cater to more people and the turnout may be larger, I'll happily build a scenario for it tonight tbh, if people want we can run it on coming Friday even, for perhaps an hour or 1 or 2 and then go to a massive AWE game.

I'm now in the process of figuring out what works and what doesn't on our current WIP training scenario.

After that I'll have to see if I can get some of the more useful guys to assist me in adding the functions I can't create on my own.

you can run around and learn as you go, but some things you can't just learn that way.
also, a person joining doesn't know the people in the community yet, so they also don't know who to ask.

that is why, I'd like to see a place, a list where new people can sign themselves up, and when there's enough someone who knows what's up can say when they have time.
not a forum post tho, because this gets messy fast.

Not that many people know that ArmA has basically an RTS mode called High Command.
A soldier who is part of high command gets a special view to see troops with group type markers, both friendlies and spotted enemies.
They can issue commands to squad leaders, however the leaders themselves have to decide how to approach those tasks with their squad.
This way you can e.g. play alone or against someone else and have whole armies clash against each other with only 1 human controlling them.

My suggestion now is, maybe it is possible to combine High Command with I&A to make it less chaotic.
The basic I&A game consists of people spawning in, loading their gear, jumping in heli, running around in AO, then die... rinse and repeat, more or less.
Especially vehicles are kind of "wasted" as they either just stand around in base, or are used by a single person to get somewhere, then left behind.
Maybe it's possible to make better use of equipment and make people do side missions more reliable, if there is someone who points out priority targets without telling people exactly how to do it.

Now, I've played High Command a bit with a friend back then, but tbh, I'm not very good at it.
However, I'm sure some of you are more capable.
And even if you think this is a dumb idea or that you can do all of that with Zeus already, still, check out High Command.
It's actually quite neat as a singleplayer mode in ArmA.

    New recruit here,
I have played ArmA 3 for more than 500 hours, but paused for a couple years now.
Came back because of the fond memories I had with VTS missions.
Unfortunately my previous gaming community disbanded because of internal issues.
I know some members came here, so they might be still playing on your servers.

Before I left, I already played some times on your servers, and before signing up now I also played here a bit on enhanced, as it seems "less" chaotic than I&A...
    Well, communication is "better"...
Okay, let's just say, it's more fun doing missions in a small team, rather than overrunning the enemy with sheer numbers.

Not sure how frequent I'm actually going to play,
however, now that I've sorted out my private life a bit, I want to get back into ArmA again.
Hope you're a bit lenient with me, as some of your British accents are damn hard to understand over radio... or in general
