  1. @JaSmAn Thanks for the feed back. To address the points one by one: 1) you guys had two planes that most of the time did a very good job. You guys would have felt it a lot more if it wasn't for them. However, some stuff got through and especially the helicopters took their toll. 2) To make the mission more enjoyable I was often controlling enemy units, specifically air most of the time. And if I was not controlling them they would have done more damage. 3) I make the mission, don't tell plat co's how to execute. It was @hobnob11's first time and from my end he did a great job. 4) I honestly messed up on this one and should have had a plan, but thankfully @LEO did a great job and service. @Hawkeye To address you: I honestly though something I placed collided with and arma'd the shit out of the chopper, not any players. If I had known you guys had destroyed it I never would have used it so, sorry. I sorta kinda already answered your next to statements above. Thanks again, Ben
  2. @EnragedTeddyBear The reason that there were no medics is this: I wan't to have a squad to be able to fit inside of a Bradley. The medic was the person that got cut because there were respawns all the time some if you go injured to the point of needed a medic I kinda assumed that respawning would be fine. Also I know the end was a little much, but like I said I really had to go and the whole mission idea was for things to get a little crazy and nuts at the end.

  7. @Ryko It has alway been that way when zeus is on. When players don't act or play like a team (in this case don't ask for ammo from teammates) zeus has always singled them out. But also thank you for taking the communities opinion and making the appropriate changes.
  8. Sorry not on board with the change either. It often happens that you do enough killing that you and you friends just need more bullets and can't wait for a supply drop that is 15 minutes away. Also I can't personally remember ever being killed for taking an enemy's gun. People are people and make mistakes, but I feel the leadership need to have more faith in the player base to do the right thing.
  9. @Fishbait I haven't had the chance to mess around with the sentinel yet but due to its larger size I would say it most likely has very similar time on target. Also jet engines are more efficient than prop engines at the higher speeds the sentinel is designed for.
  10. I tend to partially disagree. The Blu for jet makes no sense on AWE because of the f18 mod we already use. However for the rest of the aircraft I feel like they have a tangible benefit to AWE. Sentinel: A better UAV that is currently in use and testing with the USAF. More payload and better performance. CSAT: Could easily be used as a fighter for the Russian faction, as it offers a good SU-35/ PAK50 mix. Griphon: I don't know how no one saw this already but it is very close to the Eurofighter Typhoon, and therefore is a great addition to the UK faction They also all come in different camo patterns that are different than the vanilla ones, which are more realistic. Also in regard to players that don't have this DLC. Most people that like to fly and do so on AWE will have this DLC and for those that don't there will always be moded and vanilla planes and helicopter available.
  11. There have been problems with players joining before, but 64 bit fixed most of them. If you connect and it fails for the reasons of your mods it will tell you the files and keys you may be missing. Also trying double checking your mods more easily by resyncing the modset again. @joaopedrocastella
  12. @joaopedrocastella If you need any help fixing the problem and if I am on don't hesitate to ask. Also hope to see you there. Update: Signups are going well (26), but more would still be great. So spread the word and get people on server. The more the better!
  13. My take on the whole thing is that almost always bravo has less people, and of those people most of the time they leave more frequently than people in alpha. Also not to look at your side of it, but often commanders do have bias and preference in some players and often those players play more, which means they are usually in alpha to start with. Don't be discouraged though and keep reping bravo. -Ben

  18. Everything about this sounds bad to me <---- Opinion Warning---->. To be blunt try saying what you are thinking out loud, and then see if it still makes sense. However good work on making good code even if it doesn't serve much of a purpose in my mind.

  20. @Tim O'Kill I will certainly take a look at making something like this, and if you would like to talk latter I will be on for a while this weekend. Also I along with many other people in the community like @SkullCollector and @Ryko and our events manager @Copey are always willing to help.   23. @D34TH I am no expert but you may have enabled the parameter that disables gauntlet from running inside the mission. When yoiu launch make sure you have the rights parameters. You should be able to change then if you are the host or you can vote yourself admin. Like I said I am no expert and don't know if this is the problem but it is my guess, Ben
  24. To put it ever so simply not only do I not like these proposed changes, but I think they are unessary. And above all they seem hard to implement, and trust me @Ryko does enough.
