On ArmA3 EU#3 Details about the mission will be below The meet up time will be as follows: Wednesday - 15:30 GMT Mission start1 18:30 GMT if not enough people at 15:30 GMT Brief: INSUUUUURGENCYYYY 3 BOIS. Insurgency is a mission type designed around finding ammo caches and blowing them up, we'll be playing an alpha version of the arma 3 version. For this you'll be provided with an observation helicopter to guide your convoy through the mountains and an apc. Intel suggest that the area between your FOB and Al jebel is controlled by insurgents. NOTE: I (alganthe) will do my utmost to stop you from capturing the target, I won't be able to spawn AI but I'll be able to control the existing ones.   6. Wait until the advanced armor simulation get released in ace, you cry. the Kuma is nearly impossible to destroy unless you use a top down AP rocket, angulated armor + RPG grills.
  7. Note that I tried this pack and here's my feelings about it: The weapons are reskinned F2000, the recoil pattern is a vanilla one. What's make the RHS weapons unique is that they change the recoil pattern to make it feels realistic, you get a good feeling while shooting them, same for HLC weapons. For this it's simply a re-skin, the sounds are also not satisfactory AT ALL. tho special note to the 3D artist because fuck it's high quality shit right there. I wouldn't recommand this pack for the reasons stated above, oh and if you want "new" weapons JUST STOP USING FRICKIN M4 WE GOT A FUCKLOAD OF WEAPONS ALREADY.

Public service announcement: After some trial and error tests I found what was causing most of my zeus modules to break or fail with eu3 modpack. and as you can imagine it's nothing else than T47 launchers. how to reproduce: -activate EU3 modpack -place a unit in the editor -give it access to zeus (by any method) -try to use arsenal / remote control / lightning after 5 mins and observe the break.

  11. Bumping this. I'm still thinking that this mod can improve the zeus experience on EU1 and overall make our job easier and more eficient. for example when I'm zeusing i'm placing some sub-objectives on the ao, problem being that placing sandbags and shit takes time, with this I would be able to create a setup in editor and then import it, or use presets ones.

Hi, today I stumbled on a great mod on BI forums and I would like to share it with you. the mod in question (click me) fast description: Ares is a mod aimed to improve zeus functionalities by: -adding saving / loading capabilities for compositions and loadouts (arsenal boxes). -adding an enhanced artillery waypoint (you can choose the number of rounds) -adding a patrol, search building and garrison module -changing the way arsenal boxes are created in zeus (you can load yours or use predefined ones) -adding non zeus units to zeus -adding a telport module letting you teleport players -adding an invisible / invincible action on zeus players *thoses functions can be removed Of course all of thoses features are ONLY available to people that have ALREADY access to zeus and have the mod installed. This mod is CLIENT SIDE ONLY nothing is needed server wise or client wise for others. Why I'm asking for it: The reason i want to be able to use it on I&A is simple, being able to save and load compositions and arsenal boxes as well as being able to populate buildings and making patrol is something that I've been waiting for, BI didn't do it but someone else did. Everything else is icing on the cake. What issues it might bring: The player teleport, invisible / invincible might cause some issues, aka people abusing it. I personally assume that our community, or at least spartans are smart enough to not do something stupid with them. An other issue might be the over use of objects impacting performance, but it's already an issue and as I stated before I trust other spartans. Thanks for the read, /discuss

  14. Read the place where it got posted it's for EU3 and not EU1. EU1 got enough perfomance problems, if you include civs imagine the frame dorps. For EU3 on the flipside it would be adding to the gameplay. DAC and Alive make it quite easy to add and on top of that perfomance wise we play on lower res maps (or at least not altis level of quality). That's a good idea. And again read before posting guys.
  15. I am against it, we got a shitload of weapons already and people only use M16 / M4 or RHS weapons, and also RHS just added a bunch of new muzzlebreaks and flash suppressors which RH don't have. Even if they are better looking it's not really worth the space.

This is still an issue as of update 2.80B edit: the .sqf is there but seems like it's not working. edit2: the rearm.sqf is working as intended, seems like the missions uavs are the problem, looking into it. aaaaand found it the function messing with it is "fn_vSetup002.sqf" seems that it delete the gbu and laser, making them IMPOSSIBRU to get back. that's was working previously so I guess BI dun goofed

  19. The UAV pad is not working as inteded, as reported multiple times by players, the uav pad does NOT give back the ammo. how to reproduce it : use a uav and drive on the pad. how to go around it: ask zeus an ammobox to rearm the uav, or to spawn a new one.

  23. I&A is more a pub server where everyone can enjoy playing solo / in group a true vanilla fun experience, modded is more on the realistic side.

  25. Well my 2c from the missions: was awesome to play, only problem the ai are bullet sponges. no really on one of them I put 20 5.56 on the torso before he finally decided to go down (pretty sure someone was also shooting at him).
