    I asked you twice and you decided to disconnect, i would have given you a warning but instead you tried to hide the fact that it was you and disconnected. We take ban evasion seriously and you could have easily avoided any trouble had you just owned up to it. I do believe you are sincere so I'm going to knock this back to a two week ban but there will be no third chances. Message me in a fortnight and I'll lift the ban.

    So at the time you were not on the server playing just watching Luetins stream and hanging out with players who were playing, and giving them info, however little or vaguely of what was being placed down? This after all players were sternly warned that any stream sniping would be harshly dealt with.

    There had been mention of stream sniping in the group chat with someone telling someone not to do it. 

    Why were you even in the ts server in one of the game groups and not in the spectators room?

    Will have been some time between 0:00 and 02:00 this morning. If you could change your disconnect message that would be great. And an admin will remove the ban before I get back in a few hours if not I'll remove it when I get on.

    You were banned for using unacceptable language. Your excuse is not very convincing seeing as less than ten minutes before your ban a Global message was posted on the server:

    "144.76.82.169:2301 | 21:01:37 | RCon admin #4: (Global) Zissou: SERIOUSLY GUYS WE DO NOT TOLERATE RACISM OF ANY KIND, READ OUR RULES AND FOLLOW THEM, WE INSTABAN ANYONE BREAKING THOSE RULES"

    So if it was a joke it was in poor taste and even poorer timing so no we will not be entertaining your appeal, we are an open community and have no place for attitudes like yours.

    okay the reason whitelisting won't happen is because it's not what ahoyworld is about we're an open community. Many good pilots are not on ts are not on the forums and that's okay of course we'd prefer if they got involved but that's their choice. A rank structure would be close to impossible to manage how would ranks be assigned? how would they be monitored? the best we can do is kick poor pilots from the server and encourage good flying.

    Okay so a few points after a couple of months of the new rules. 

    We still have some shit pilots. 

    Not enough pilots are repairing. 

    Zeus players are fixing or replacing helis when they kinda shouldn't, but 45 players waiting for transpo makes it necessary. 

    It hasn't improved the overall standard of piloting. 

    The really shit pilots leave much quicker (but only when there are a few of them) if it's only one or two then the good pilots seem to suffer. 

    Admins are not receiving enough reports about poor piloting (or general rule breaking) (guys we might not be overjoyed at being interrupted but we don't blame the reporting player we blame the useless pilot or the tker.) 

    A group of bad pilots can quickly bring the server to a standstill. 

    Pilots are improving in some cases but not all. (fewer fly overs of active aos). 

     

    So in my mind the rule change has been a mixed bag that wasn't as successful as I would have hoped. 

    Points system as described sounds great but who's gong to create/maintain it? It's far too complex as described. 

    Whitelist of pilots will never happen it's not what aw is about. 

    Zeus players will fix helis for the server if needed but should avoid if possible. 

    Pilots destroying helis will be punished but we need to know about them.

    Then you're going to have to be honest about what happened on the server, on ts during and after the incident. Because your account so far is, as you know,  not at all what happened.
