    In future we will not use Xmed and any IED's should be placed manually so we know exactly how many there is going to be :L

    So much choice I'll take a look at sangin see what I come up with, thinking maybe a blackhawk down hoard mode scenario, blu4 have spawn at helo 4 guys limited ammo and second group on city outskirts trying to get to them to reinforce and hold for 50 minutes, no respawn, op4 is Ai & players with unlimited random respawn areas at city limits rushing into try to take out the blue, after 50 minutes Ai convoy roll in to evac
    Also there's a new test port of Sahrini with new destructible buildings gone up on a'holic this morning,

    Yeah I agree. Though what was the aa about? I took 8 missiles on the first run. Dunno but I'm certainly not flying again. Yeah am a crap pilot I know this. But anyway the mission seemed good from the small part I saw/heard. Nice job smith, excited to see more from you. Haha

    Press h to bring up the key binds overlay,
    from memory I think the following
    QZWasd control height and orbit radius, numpad controls camera, x or c exits I think would have to check, enter on np is laser pointer, 0 is target lock or camera reset, tab is laser desk, again not sure but check the overlay or the key binds in the userconfig .hpp file

    I have in my possession a script to null damage down to any value we want. Let me explain why I'm doing this in  the first place:
     
    At current, you can take a headshot, die in a minefield, fall off a cliff, die in a vehicle crash etc and as long as there is somebody nearby who is a medic, he can fix all that with a click of a button. Not even consistently i might add. the script is buggy and plain annoying to deal with. Additionally this revive script is suspected of causing massive fps drop next to burning vehicles (around 0.3 fps i'd guess). It used to save your gear and present you with it after revival but not any more. you may have picked that awesome machine gun and kitted it out but it's going to give you an mx with aimdot... It's outdated and buggy.
     
    So there's my argument for getting rid of this unrealistic, buggy, ugly feature. Here's a slightly less unrealistic 24 line total script that instead nulls your damage down, a little. This is to make it more playable for yourselves so you can get to a medic and be back up to full strength, but if you die... you'll have to respawn at base. Perhaps you'll be a little more careful when running near cliffs and picking who you fly with eh?
     
    trialling it at half damage worked pretty well but we can adjust.
     
    I imagine initially there will be a lot of resistance to this but think about it.

    Found this excellent UAV mod
     
    it comes in a backpack that you assembel al-la the darter, it's rechargeable after use it has 2x cameras, laser deg & pointer 
     
    you control by setting a waypoint on the map, it'll fly to the way point at which point you can switch to the camera and take control, by increasing / decreasing the flight radius and altitude around the target area, then adjust the camera position to locate hard targets for designation for CAS, or use the on board laser pointer to show show ground troops where the last pesky enemy is dug in

    This mod (or functionality like it built into I&A), would certainly add some chaos and uncertainty into I&A missions, and make them a bit harder, and/or less predictable.

    How about increasing the CSAT AA assets as CAS is where most of the damage is done early in each AO.
     
    There was a time a few months back where one could barely raise ones head above the grass without an AI turning it into a canoe. I liked it that way.

    Hiya, I think we should turn the default settings up.
     
    Basically the amount of people in the AO, vehicles and such like.
     
    Why? Because the AOs are getting finished in stupidly quick times and it's so easy... Even more so when CAS is online.

    It is time for the first of the year, hope you're all upto scratch

     

    Providing the lovely core staff can set us a server a side we'll be having a game night afternoon tomorrow from 14:30 GMT+1(UK Time)

     

     

    The game will be using Pfc. Christiansens Alive mission. 

     

    Alive is a simple mod which does some funky stuff with the AI to make them better.

     

    It can be found at this link: here or on Play with Six

     

    All other mods are as normal and ALIVE is the only REQUIRED one.

     

    So all you have to do is turn up tomorrow at 14:30 and prepare for some gaming.

     

    Slots and such like will be explained tomorrow and I hope to see you all on the battlefield. 

     

    If you've got a question feel free to ask!

    You can already play the Arma 2 version of the map in ARMA 3 Don't know if there is any missions for it though. I have it downloaded and have tested it.
