  1. I remember being there, screaming out peoples names to jump, when one person, still don't know who, jumps out using eject instead of fast rope. I was fast-roping down when the heli flew away and it towed me like 4k up in the air.

The FOB are working like a charm, i love it, we had some great fun building and operating one, a few problems and ideas: A gate object to stop enemy soldiers, suicidal civ's etc. running in, preferably the one opening upwards, its the most FOB'like one. The rotation feature, i have no idea how that is supposed to work, i think we all tried to figure it out but we didn't manage to. If it's possible make all the big h-block walls be rotated 180 degree, now it spawns facing away from you, it would just be way more convenient.
  9. I think it's a great idea, it will for sure clear things out, as of now almost always when we have two pilot teams there is a question from SL on long range "Which vortex is doing what again?" I think being able to assign Vortex or Talon callsign depending on the role is a brilliant way to make sure that it's easy to contact in the right asset. A huge + from me.

    I have to disagree with that, Arma is an all around combat game.
  12. It's not just the Vehicle bug. It's an all around afterburner bug, when one of the jet pilots enables the afterburner. Instead of only the Jet getting the speed bonus, all vehicles get like +150% speed boost.
  13. It is just too buggy, the general idea is nice in theory but in practice it creates more problems than solutions.
  14. It wouldn't take away medevac, it would make it quicker. I'm talking about realistically placed FOB's, not in the AO, more like 2-3 km away from it, on big maps like Altis or Chernarus that would allow for constant operation without the need to come back for a rearm all the way to the Base.   15. If it should be self building FOB I'd expect a bunch of Hesco Blocks spawn around with an exit, a little medical space, and a motorpool . I'd preeefer logi to have an option to put the Hesco's themselves, that can be done with scripts, kind of like basebuilding in different survival mods but less advanced Sent from my SM-G935F using a phone app that is really irritating because it constantly advertises itself.

I love the idea of logi building FOB's, also even if that one AO ends, logi can build an FOB in a good position [a hill in the middle of the map etc] and then ressuply it by bringing in ammo and vehicles by heavy lift helicopter.   17. I fully agree with you on that, I just think some people don't realise that, and still do it, going through the easiest path, and leave pilots waiting in the Base to only extract people from a finished AO
  18. Or create a trigger for the presence of vortex two, therefore allowing ASL to leave vortex one on Cas.
  19. I think that the rally point should only be enabled when Vortex is not online, I think that can be done with a trigger that checks for the vortex pilots online. When pilots are online as amentes said it just leaves them without nothing else to do.
