If you do it through Arma 3 Clans there's no whitelisting process so I guess be vigilant for the walts.

Its been suggested before and will no doubt coming up again, the answer will almost definitely be no. With the humdreds of different people that play on even just one on the servers a day, there just isn't the man power or time to go around testing and whitelisting every person that wants to get into a tank.

I think I'd rather have everything on one platform but I'll definitely check it out.

So I've been flying the A10 for ages and whilst bombing the crap out of the russians all the time is fun I would like to try something made for acrobatics. Plus I've been watching some of the VFAT shows and those guys are incredible. Opinions on the ideal aircraft for this?

Its not worth it, bad pilots are easy enough to name and shame. Plus, there must be hundreds of competent pilots that play over the two servers, this idea is suggesting that we somehow screen them all and judge their piloting skills? It will just take too long.

@SkullCollector It was only that complicated because the radio hierarchy was set up differently, with ACRE it changed to all of Alpha on 2, all of LR on 1 etc, there's no reason for us to not keep that system if we were to revert to TFAR. Also, was people mistyping 3 numbers really that much of a issue? And the watch 'problem' can be easily fixed in arsenal by swapping it once and saving, like we have to do with pretty much any repo update.

A new player does not need to learn any of these things, maybe a bit of medical but just to the extent of 'Use elastics and packing' They do, however need to understand the radios from the very first time they play, and when ACRE fails it can be very disorienting for a new player.

I don't see the benefit of terrain blocking the radios with ACRE, yes its added realism but for proper realism we'd have a way of communicating anywhere on the map such as a sat-phone or something similar. On Takistan especially I've seen many people type messages as they can't get hold of anyone even over long range. Plus loved the TFAR backpacks

@lamminrevityin I agree, I for one am not going to buy Apex and I'm sure anyone who doesn't have it as well as myself will be particularly annoyed if we have to leave the server if Tanoa gets chosen after a #mission. We've basically gotta decide if we wanna swap regulars who don't have Apex for those who are new and have the DLC.

Flying out in a littlebird to pick up my co-pilot, find him unconscious and under heavy fire, land, run out and carry him back the the chopper while still under fire and returning him to the medical bay to make a full recovery. Felt epic
