By default do you mean certain maps can only be russian, or that the admin can change it if they wanted to, because I think most of the time it will get changed anyway.

I think it is a lot to ask, It takes a long time to get to a profficient level in AWE, and that's with having the consistency of playing Blufor 90% of the time. Playing as Russians maybe 1/10 missions like Gorgona or Al Ruyak was will not give new players time to learn and will just add confusion while they're still trying to grasp standard equipment. Playing Russian is simply a novelty and not worth it in my opinion.

Could it be the amount of mods increasing the load time on some PCs to the point that BE decides that we aren't responding?

Update: The ACE developers say they are waiting for BE to unblock their files, we'll have to see if that fixes the main problem.

So my problem has deteriorated so that I now have @Fraggloid's issue. I am unable to join the server due to Battleye Client Not Responding. On top of this BE has decided to start blocking parts of ACE as shown below, this may be a separate issue but I think it still makes joining impossible even if the former problem is sorted. Note: It seems to block a different part of ACE each time I load.

I'll definitely make it for mission start, I doubt I'll be there for slotting up time.

I get Battleye error the first time I try to join, as in the first time I try after my pc boots. Usually it takes a restart and another try to get in.

Been enjoying playing Hammer when I can, its true what Ryko says, a lot of people feel invincible in a tank whereas it only takes one well placed shot from an AT soldier or BMP to bring you down. I'll definitely check this out if I'm around.

As rifleman LAT I usually carry a backpack to hold a couple extra M72's as they're always needed.

Allow Plt FAC to be taken without a PC? I personally like the role and it would reduce the pressure on ASL by coordinating pilot teams for him.

I know, I was just thinking that if newer players have the same problem and suddenly see all these pretty guns it may result in a problem.

The arsenal seems really inconsistent for me, sometimes it loads and is empty, ie I doesn't show any weapons, armour, uniform etc... And sometimes it is fully unlocked and I can take anything. As well as the the longer loading time which I assume is down to the number of mods?
