Didn't read the last two sentences as opinions, Colsta still makes a good point anyway.

This isn't true, Vortex and Talon have no determined role, its the CO's decision on who does what.

I think everyone gets the message, lets all just apply safetys and take a step back before this thread turns into a warzone.

Can we just let him try? He's trying to do his bit for the community, he seems to be doing alright so far so lets let him do his thing. -

CUP - Is it an Upgrade
Blue-958- replied to Reidy's topic in Enhanced Server Information And Discussion
I'll use a phrase that I 've heard and agreed with on TS "It looks like its been drawn by a five year old with blunt crayons". However I have also heard that "Its going to be improved in the future" and that's great if true but that time is a LONG way off by what I've seen of the models so far. Is it worth keeping what we have weapon-wise until CUP looks better? -
Shame I can't make any of these, would love to attend

I liked the idea of it, I just didn't really like the way they handled, seemed a bit off [EDIT] I think I'm thinking of the wrong one, getting confused with a similar mod I used to use

Two seater jets would be perfect as it would mean more realistic gameplay with the copilot navigating and operating weapons, it would also prevent that awkward, join as a copilot and realise your pilot is flying a jet scenario. However the only two seaters I know of is the F18 Super Hornet and well, they were crap. +1 for replacing the A10 anyway

Private Training Thingy
Blue-958- replied to Miczils's topic in Enhanced Server Information And Discussion
Great idea, I noticed yesterday when you offered to explain how to use a MicroDAGR there was a large group, including myself and other members, who were interested. It could be a useful tool to help players particularly if you offer, most people don't like to ask for help, there are exceptions of course but it seems to be a general mentality and this is a better solution than putting players down when they get something wrong. [EDIT] I forgot to add that I'd be happy to help out with whatever I can do Miczils -
On the topic of British equipment, could we look into adding more British Army weaponry? For example the L86 LSW, I love running with the L85 as a rifleman and I think it would be cool to include the LSW as an auto rifleman weapon, it would potentially bridge the gap between rifleman and auto rifleman as its lighter and has smaller mags. There's also other bits like the L123A2 grenade launcher which would allow grenadiers to run with a proper British setup or even the L115 to bring the marskmen in on the action. https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/180966-3cb-baf-weapons/

Landed at 1400, took off at 1515, had lessons inbetween but the army section got to hang around and chat to the pilot, it was great fun though for what I got to see

Pretty much as the title suggests, a British Army Air Corps Apache attack helicopter (AH-64 Longbow), landed on the school field, the pilot was an ex-member of the cadet force at the school which goes some way to explaining why they brought the beast to our rugby field. Took some videos and pics which I'm sure some of you will be interested to see. Enjoy... Landing: http://youtu.be/XuhTsEQzjzs Take Off: Short Bit of Flight: Won't let me embed 3 vids so here's the link: https://youtu.be/R7M7a0CUmSY 30mm M230E1 Chain Gun: Just another pic: NB: I was given marshalling duty of the younger kids which explains all the little high-pitched voices
