Looking for reviews and recommendations for a 27 inch hd, 1 ms response, LED monitor, either flat screen or curved, tilt adjustable or adaptable to a stand. Currently I am running a 22 inch Samsung which has been great but as it’s now about 5 years old it’s colours are beginning to fade. I did that through armasync for both the public and AWE servers as the update was automatically underway. I think there where also a bunch of files deleted. Since the update I cannot connect to the public servers with the mods on only through steam with the mods off. Can not connect to eu3 at all. Should I delete all mods and start again? I was playing on EU 1 and EU3 today and the server shut down for an update I think? Anyhow I came back 30 minutes later and started arma3sync and there was an update on that as well. Now I cannot join any of the servers with the mods running. I get the Session Lost Message. Is this my end? I cannot join any of the public servers either.

So is there a guide somewhere to the key strokes for medic, radio etc and also what is the gameplay? e.g. spawn, arsenal, transport etc? I had a quick look when the server was empty but I could not work out how to get off the carrier or how to check if my keystrokes would wrk etc

I would do that but dont want to get into any agro for not being good enough

I have been playing on EU1 since a early March and my nonscientific assessment would be an average of 20. But it is often nearly full at peak times. EU 2 is very empty though and I don’t understand why. Another observation is that in general members are extremely helpful and polite both in game and on the forum. But as in all communities there are the odd one or two who can be consistently rude, objectionable and intolerant of errors and mistakes. In particular I don’t get why some players think it’s OK to Eff and Jeff over voice comms and it’s not stopped by admin in game? But there again they probably do that in the real world! No good, I cannot select my profile. All I get in DEFAULT on the drop down menu. I need to delete armasync and start again.

That’s excellent, thank you. Now another request: due to a cock up I need to totally delete armasync and re install it and then. Currently, and due to my thumb fisted efforts, when I try to start arma 3/AhoyWorld eu1 or 2 from armasync I get the message connection timed out. If I try and join directly from steam with no mods I can get onto the server. I need a totally fresh download. When I try to do that it just loads the old mods etc with the same joining result. Actually I managed to get my profile back. Apparently there is a way to reload it if you have a backup which I did. Phew!

For me the update was automatic, I had no choice, as soon as I started the game the update was on. Net result is all my personal key and mouse strokes have been lost! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

In number 2) I got the TK as I was driving the Hunter. Today I was the passenger in a chopper that crashed into the side of a mountain killing all. Message said *** pilot killed himself. Then all,the others came up as team killed by *** pilot. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I like the new feature but can I make a request. If I transport myself to the AO and leave the vehicle in a safe place, when I am more than a certain distance away it respawns back to base leaving me with no way out except to respawn. Is it possible to limit that when the server is sparsely populated? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Ok some more feedback on the new loadouts. Generally it makes it much simpler to load up at spawn, especially for newbies. However I think it would be nice to have more than a carbine in some roles. Also in real life battle situations it is has always been general practice for forces to pick up better weapons and kit from dead combatants. Could this be included so the original loadout could stay the same at spawn but then weapons etc harvested on the battlefield? Would it be possible to pre load the vehicles with Titan missiles? Would it possible to pre load a Hemtt or Hunter as a specific repair vehicle or with supplies to be used specifically for that role? Or am I missing a method of loading a crate onto a vehicle? Can I make an observation re TK. I am guilty of the occasional unintentional TK which I always apologise for either in voice or chat. It doesn’t happen very often and the last few have been true accidents for which I was blamed, I believe, unfairly but take on the chin as part of the gameplay. Examples of this are: 1) my squad surrounded a house with multiple EI inside, one opened the door stood back and I chucked a grenade in and shouted fire in the hole. Unfortunately one squad member was not on voice and ran in good soon and got killed. 2) I was driving a Hunter and picked up a guy who then team killed using the machine gun, I got the blame? 3) I was driving a Truck and a player was hiding underneath, I drove off he got squashed, I got the blame. However if I pilot a chopper and drive it into the ground killing all the occupants I don’t get a team kill warning. Please understand this is not a complaint but just an observation.
