Is there a view about tweaking the ACE medical system? Playing the medic role is fun, but right now it's not really challenging as you get insta-killed often. I know that you can change that to a bleedout system.
That could also motivate teamplay and reduce lonewolfing and squadplay. A medevac team could also be useful.

Can we unlock the ability to spawn the V44 blackfish Armed variant to the heli spawn, since the cargo and passenger spawn there and that Lythium do not have a plane spawn?

Currently in the server, i found an empty AO (secondary objective: counterattack) that was cleared out before me an it was still active. I don't know if we need to complete the primary OBJ before the secondary one disappear.

Zeusing cannot be random now. You have to ask weeks in advance to host as Zeus. I understand the staff position to not give access to everyone other than moderators to avoid abusers. Having trusted zeus without having to moderate would be nice tho.

Different mission, more than 2 years later and a whole bunch of other things that have changed. So there is no real way of knowing I think.
There is one way: trying it. Would this require a lot of effort? (It was not meant sarcastically, i really don't know if it is a lot of work) If it is, then i understand the reluctance.
Either way, it's worth a shot.

More or less. For my part, i think there is waayy too much mods. Cohesion would be nice, but it's not critical for me. I would just like that the faction system would mean something.

And there is nothing wrong with that. That is why i started this topic: i wanted to have all your opinions. Since i don't see anyone on the AWE server theses days and the only ones that does complains about this, i wanted to know what we could do to change this.

Fair enough, but we still are in a spot where a lot of people want to go stricter and some do not want to. Where do we go from here? we vote? We ignore and stay like this?
Don't get me wrong, i'm not trying to say that those who do not want to change are wrong. I just want to know if we will discuss this further.

personalising gear is one thing, but why could i pick US assets on British faction? if i would complain that i can't fly a SU-25 while being US army, will it get unlocked? where is the line here?

Personnaly for me, ACE, TFAR and RHS and BAF would be plenty for the server, as long as BAF and RHS are seperated by faction. There would be enough customization and modded gear for thoses who like it without having 500 uniforms that only 1 guy picks.

AWE is a place for mods, there is no denying it. But the thing is, i think we reached a level where there is too much mods and too much options that there is less cohesion.
I would like to play with everyone wearing UCP, during an OP, but right now i would have to force people to do it as ASL. I would pass as the bad guy, and it should be to the server to do it, not me.
A lot of core player would like to see theses changes, why not try it? If i am wrong, revert back. We would at least tried to change things. Never taking risks is not always the right solution and listening to the community as always been a good way towards progress.
There will always be 1 guy that will want to have access to any stuff and every weapon in the game, but when a community become big things like this are bound to happen.
I am not blaming Ryko or anyone in the staff when i say this, because i know that they are the reason we have this excellent server. I say this exactly because i want it to thrive.

I may not be the oldest member of the AhoyWorld community, but i think it is important that i state my opinion.
The number of players in the EU3 server has been declining for a while and everytime it is discussed, i see that one of the major hiccup is the gear/faction system. We currently have a faction system that is supposed to have an influence on the server, but it does not. Right now, if we have the British faction, anyone can pick up US gear and even vehicules. Everytime i share my opinion, the majority of people agree that gear should be restricted with your faction.
Stiletto is an awesome game mode and it has a lot of potential. It is sad that it has become a 50 gig wardrobe that nobody plays anymore. Don't get me wrong, i don't pretend to know that my view is the only one that is good, but i think that it would be a mistake to ignore the majority of players that keep this server alive to add more mods for the sake of it.
If we do not try, i fear that AWE is going to die out. The server is basically empty everyday, and many who come on it wish for this change to happen.
I would like to create a honest discussion without bashing on this subject.

trouble with the RF-7800. You can't type a frequency manually with the micro-dagr programmer, you can only do it with the numpad keys (i double-checked if i had one and even swapped out for a new one). The numpad presets are also fucked 50% of the time, going on frequency 379.5 or something like that. I was not the only one with this problem.
I also been experiencing trouble with Teamspeak today. Arma kept tabbing out to go to Teamspeak and the latter crashed 2 times with an option to send a crash report. This could be clientside tho.

There is a bigger playerbase for the public servers, so it's always going to be more popular than EU3.

The units on the Middle Eastern Insurgents factions spawn with empty gear, meaning they have nothing in their inventory.
When i was Zeus yesterday, i took control of several units of this faction, and some of them (not all) had only their rifle with the mag attached to it with empty clothes. They could not reload or throw grenades, which limits their fighting abilities.

It has been a while since the server been active. Everytime i check to join, it's empty. After a couple of play sessions with no one joining, it gets old.
