Whats about the idea, to give the laser designator only to the squad leader?
    That would be cool

You seem to not read (or understand) my post at all.
I clearly stated  i expected a admin to step in to calm/solve the situation.
Which were around (on TS) but choose to send "their" message via a ZEUS.
Knowing me (and quite a few of them do) it was quite obvious i m not gonna settle with that decicion (again).
And what would be so hard to tell "that pub" he had no claim to uphold for that MBT,suggest him to exit it and negotiate for it like civilised people or (the option i prefer) hand me MY KUMA.I´vs seen several occasions people in charge handed vehicles (of any sort) to players they get along with finer (read=get their ass kissed) than me,abusing their given powers on occasions they felt comfortable with.
It had been a matter of minutes untill all of this had been forgotten and the world kept turning.
    And now you tell me

What other option do i have, pls enlight me?
Ima list it for you :
suck it up,move on,wait for nxt chance to be betrayed again, rinse repeat AT the KUMA (like i consider´d) and get a ban (for life) find a different server, devote time to another community I m curious.
    I really am.

So,time to post a hatefull vengence thread
Done a side mission today and it rewarded a KUMA tank - some of you may know i m living for those kind of tank.I´d use it as day to day car if the parking space wouldnt be so limited.
Opend chat after the reward message popped up,wrote "dips" and then returned to lobby to load in new from base and be instant on "my" KUMA.
The second i arrive at base i m lookign for the kitten only to face it driven by a AW+ guy (which name doesnt matter much atm) i had quite traded bad buisness with.
Opend chat again and asked (first uncomonly nice) him to return "my" tank to base.
    Which he replied "you d/c".
Now i m getting slowly pissed, because that guy pulled the same very abuse just 2 days ago with @Drunken,same thing - he did accomplish a side mission 16k off base, returned to lobby to get his KUMA tank and the AW+ guy sat in it with his m8s telling him the same story ... "we had it first" , "blablabla" i dont actually recall it exactly.

So,what options does that leave me with?
Titan him like he deserves, but face a ban again?
I connected to TS,PMed @Sozio to make  decicion, but he was busy.
PMed @Teddy 2 min after and got told "the admins do a first come, first serve policy and i should settle with this.

    Guess what,i m not!

As there should be a ethic (yes,i know this word) code in any player of a MP game, which is very simple > dont take stuff you havnt worked for at all or at least ask
Even more fun is that you accept people with such a disrespect of morale into your lines
.Guess donating money doesnt warrant to judge a guy a few weeks before granting access into the lines.
    Your choice,not mine.

Back to topic, this policy isnt acceptable and i expect from a game admin to have this situation better handled.
As how it ended is with a damaged KUMA on 1st AO and a fkking pissed and full of anger Scar.
    I wont forget this,be assured.
As for now,im currently thinking of setting explosives to any side mission i clear so the reward gets spoiled to prevent similar issues.
    Yea,i said it.
That s how pissed of i am.

And pls spare me the whiney posts - your assumptions of my gameplay or my mentality or similar is usually way off,so dont even try.
Got nothing worthy to add, simply dont post.

Kullmann got a reaction from GhostFace in Deactivate fog on Tanoa
    Hello everyone,
I would like to ask, how high the chances are to deactivate the fog on Tanoa.
It seems to be that this issue is killing the server, which is really sad. I love to play in tropic atmosphere with all the animal sounds and jungle fights. But the fog is somehow killing it.
So is it technically possible to deactivate the fog and if yes, I would kindly ask to do so to increase population on this one.
It often happens, that I join the server and I find a mark on the map which says: "Fog is killing this server"

Another tip i have: if you're really new to landing UAVs, start by putting them on the ground on the salt flats (altis).  They are flat in all directions and you have plenty of room so all you have to worry about is how to set it down.  Once you managed this a good 5 to 10 times, either try marking an area in which you want to land or try to land it at the main (altis) airfield.  It has a long runway and it's wide.  Practice this until you can put it down rather easily then try to put it down at the very beginning of the runway.  If you can manage that you can try doing it on smaller airfields.
This all of course in the editor.

My advice for UAV ops, don't trust the UAVs. When I need to rearm a greyhawk I'll give it a loiter order at 200m altitude a few kms from base, from there I'll take over control and land it myself. Same goes for taking off, I'll do that manually then once in the air I'll give it a waypoint.
For landing, try to be at around 100km/h and flying around 20m above the ground on the approach to the runway.
Set yourself a waypoint (shift+L-mouse) on the map for the start of the runway.
Make sure you're "aiming" for your waypoint, this will help you to have a steady descent and to make the most of the long runway.
You want to be going around 80km/h (not sure exactly) once you reach the waypoint, at this speed the greyhawk will almost land itself, you can recognise this magic speed when you are unable to gain altitude by pitching up.

For landing i use full flaps and sometimes turn off the engine on final approach if needed, most frequent mistake is landing at too high speed (it is a light craft with low wing loading so glides a lot). Second most frequent mistake is approach at a too steep angle, unless you have to (AA battery , enemy CAS etc) give yourself min half a click for your final lined-up with the runway. The greyhawk is extremely maneuverable so it can pull some great stunts even on landings but it is more risky ...

As far as lasing moving targets , with enough patience (if given time and not engaged by AA) you can even ctrl-T lock on an individual infantry element and it will track. Beware though if that lased inf dies before you launch sometimes i have seen the laser "relocate" somewhere to a far horizon ....

On a defensive note , you can avoid AA fire by maneuvering so it may be worth the effort to try and save your UAV given the respawn time

Final note: you can have more than 1 Darter in the air at a given time, even with their lasers locked on different targets which can help when first striking an area full of hyper-active, on the move AAs ...

Have fun and keep it smart ...
